Abstract

This research aimed at creating module physics with the topic waves phenomenathatwasrelevanttobeusedatschoolthatcarryoutasystemofsks.Themethod usedwasresearchanddevelopmentwithphases:preliminary study (define),programdesigning (design) anddevelopment(develop).The module designwasbasedonthe resultof the preliminary study.Thentheprogramwasjudgedby expertsandpilottestedonthirty studentsof XI classofSeniorHighschool3Jayapura,usingonegrouppretest-posttestdesign.Thenwider scale tryoutusinga non-equivalentgrouppretest-posttestquasiexperimentaldesign,andwas conducted  on sixtyone students at the  same  school. Conclusions of  the  research were 1) characteristics  ofthe  modulephysics with  the topicwaves  phenomena,  amongothers,self instructional,selfcontained,standalone,adaptive,anduserfriendly. 2)theapplication ofphysics modulewavesphenomenainthelearningtopicscansignificantlyimprovestudents'masteryofconcepts,3)prominenceofwavesphenomena,amongothers,haveacompletemodulestructure,equipped withthelearnerworksheets,completewithmathematicalequations,andsmartsolution.4)alimitation of thismoduleis not equipped with an exercise problems. Keywords: Research, physics module, students, phenomena.

Abstract

Lidah mertua plant  has the potential as a natural antioxidant and the antioxidant activity of a plant depends on the number of active compounds extracted. This study aims to determine the yield, total phenol content, total flavonoid content, and IC50 value of lidahmertua leaf extract macerated with ethanol, ethyl acetate, and n-hexane as solvents, and to determine the compounds contained in the lidahmertua leaf extract which have activity antioxidants. The results of the phytochemical test of the lidahmertua leaf extract showed positive results containing polyphenolic compounds, flavonoids, saponins, alkaloids, and steroids. The maceration yield of each solvent was 12.13%, 10.15% and 8.11%, respectively. While the measurement results of the total phenol content of each solvent were 6.96; 3.67; and 1.94 mg GAE/g. The results of the measurement of the flavonoid content of each solvent were 5.82; 3.28; and 1.71 mg QE/g. The IC50 values for each solvent were 162.135 mg/L, 184.561 mg/L and 206.265 mg/L. The extract which has the highest total phenol content, total flavonoid content, and antioxidant activity is in ethanol solvent.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar kimia antara siswa yang diterapkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah melalui pendekatan inkuiri terbimbing dan siswa yang diterapkan pembelajaran secara konvensional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan rancangan kuasi eksperimen yang melibatkan kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol dengan rancangan penelitian menggunakan the non-equivalent control group design. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah melalui pendekatan inkuiri terbimbing dan variabel terikat adalah motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Merauke pada tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIPA-5 sebagai kelas kontrol dan siswa kelas XMIPA-6 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa pada tiap kelas sama yaitu 45 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dimana nilai N-Gain rata-rata kelas kontrol 0,38 dan kelas eksperimen 0,70. Berdasarkan pengolahan data menggunakan program SPSS 16.0 diperoleh nilai Sig.(2-tailed) = 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Ini berarti bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah melalui pendekatan inkuiri terbimbing memberika perbedaan positif terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar kimia pada siswa kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Merauke tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah melalui pendekatan inkuiri terbimbing dapat dijadikan pilihan yang baik dalam menentukan model pembelajaran yang akan digunakan di kelas. Kata kunci  : Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah, Pendekatan Inkuiri Terbimbing, Motivasi Belajar, Hasil Belajar, Konsep Reaksi Redoks, SMA Negeri 1 Merauke.

Abstract

This research is an experimental study involving two groups or classes, namely the experimental class using a jigsaw type learning model and class control using conventional learning models. Sampling is done by cluster random sampling. There are differences in learning outcomes between students who use the Type Jigsaw cooperative learning model and by using conventional learning models. The average n-Gain of students who use the Type Jigsaw cooperative learning model is 0.71 with a high category, while those who use the conventional n-Gain learning model average 0.59 with a moderate category.

Abstract

The research has been done for the development of learning tools practicum science based on secondhand goods to students of PGSD FKIP Cenderawsih University second semester 2017/2018. The purpose of this study is to find out how to design and develop learning tools of science practicum, to know the shortcomings and advantages of learning tools development science practicum based on secondhand of transpiration on plant the student of program study PGSD second semester 2017-2018 FKIP Cenderawasih University.The research sample is 31 studentsThe results in this study is to design a research development where the steps are as follows: observation, planning, data collection, making instrument, product design and produce product development in the form of practice guide. Before the practice guide is used, it is validated by 3 validation experts and in a limited-scale trial of 10 student of PGSD two generation of class 2017-2018 then in wide scale test to 31 students of PGSD study program at FKIP Cenderawasih University second semester 2017-2018, the benefit of learning tools of science practicum based on used goods is able out comes on the topic of transpiration on plants with n-Gain of 0,99 high category, the shortcomings of practicing lead-based practice manuals require considerable time to prepare practicum equipment and materials. The advantages of the use of secondhand goods in the development of learning tools laboratory science transpirations topics on plants is easily obtained, easy to get and taken anywhere without risk, can suppress waste disposal waste, train the creativity of lectures and students and improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: Practikum science & transpiration on plants

Abstract

This research is research and development with the aim to find out how to develop integrated science learning modules based on scientific literacy in the material pressure of eighth grade Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Dakwah Wa'Irsyad (DDI) students in Jayapura. The number of samples in this study 25 with descriptive descriptive data analysis techniques to determine the feasibility of the module. The results showed that: (1) Module development with the stages of information gathering, planning, development, validation and testing; (2) The feasibility of the prepared learning module, based on the validator of the material obtained an average of 90% with a feasible category, the validator of the media obtained an average of 91% with a feasible category, while the results of the responses of students with an average of 77.76% with quite interesting categories, (3) There is an increase in the learning outcomes of students in class VIII by learning to use an integrated science module material pressure based on scientific literacy with n-Gain RPP-1 values of 0.61, RPP-2 of 0.71, RPP-3 of 0.91, RPP-4 of 0.71, RPP-5 is 0.80, and n-gain is on average 0.80 with high category

Abstract

The aims of this study is to ivestigate the correlation between online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic and the motivation to study chemistry for Class XIth grade of senior high school students in Kendari City. This research is a quantitative descriptive research using survey method. The population of the study were teachers and students in XIth grade of scienein  Kendari City with 17 teachers and 2266 students. The sample used purposive sampling technique with a sample of 325 students, while the teacher sample was the entire population. The data used are questionnaires (questionnaires), observations, and structured interviews. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results showed that the online learning process was running quite well in the medium category with an average value of 71.21, and the average value of learning motivation of 71.12 belonging to the medium category. The results of a simple correlation test show that online learning with learning motivation gets a correlation coefficient value of 0.148 which indicates that there is a positive and significant relationship between online learning during the covid-19 pandemic on learning motivation and learning achievement of XI  grade of senior high school students in Kendari City.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh : Model pembelajaran kooperatif type Numbered Head Together (NHT) pada pembelajaran kaidah pencacahan terhadap keaktifan siswa. Model pembelajaran kooperatif type Numbered Head Together (NHT) pada pelajaran kaidah pencacahan terhadap hasil belajar. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen, analisa data menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian  model pembelajaran (X) tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap keaktifan siswa (Y1), pada pembelajaran kaidah pencacahan ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi hitung > 0,05 (Taraf 5%), persamaan regresi Y1=70.637 + 0,069X,   model pembelajaran (X) memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar (y) signifikansi hitung < signifikansi tabel (Taraf 5%), 0,016 < 0,05 besarnya pengaruh model pembelajaran (X) terhadap hasil belajar  (Y2) adalah 0,178 tergolong sangat rendah ini berarti kontribusi variabel X terhadap Y adalah 17,8%, persamaan regresi Y2= 0,117 + 0,08X Kata Kunci: Model NHT, Keaktifan Siswa, Pencacahan

Abstract

This research aim to look at: (1) the differences of study motivation between students in class that process learning use type Jigsaw and student in class that use type STAD, (2) the differences study result of hydrocarbon between students in class that process learning use  type  Jigsaw and student in class that use type STAD, (3) increase of study resulton class control and class experiment.The population in the research were students on class X SMA Kristeb Wamena, total 108 students, and sample were (1) students on class XC as expreriment class that process learning used type Jigsaw, (2) students on class XB as control that used type STAD. Design of research was Pretest – Posttest Control Group Design. The technique of data analysis used the different test (t-test) with software SPSS 16.The result showed that: (1) there was difference of study motivation between syudents on class  that process learning used type Jigsaw and on class XB as control that used type STAD with significance score t 0,01 < 0,05, (2) there was difference result stuidy between students on class that process learning used type Jigsaw and on class XB as cobtrol that used type STAD with significance score t 0,000 < 0,05 (3) there was increase of chemistry result study on class experiment and class control. Keywords : Jigsaw, STAD, Motivation, Result Study, Hydrocarbon

Abstract

This research is a research and development (Research & Development) which aims to find out how to develop physics learning module based on discovery learning on vector material of class X students of SMA KPG Typical "Papua" Merauke. Number of samples of study 21 students of class X MIA-2 SMA KPG Typical "Papua" Merauke. Data analysis techniques used descriptive presentative to determine the feasibility of the module. The results showed that: (1). Module development module starts from potential problem analysis, module planning, module drafting, and development; (2). The feasibility of module from media validator was obtained percentage of average result of 81.96% with very feasible category, material validator equal to 95.62% with very decent category, and result of student response equal to 87.29% with very good category; (3). Excess module that was module contextually according to local wisdom of Papua especially Merauke and improved learners learn result with result of average of n-Gain test equal to 0.64 with medium concept concept category; (4). The shortcomings of the module were the less developed discovery learning stage in the module more broadly.  Keywords: Discovery Learning, Learning Outcomes, and Physics Module.
