Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for renewal in the learning process and the importance of students having 4C skills in the 21st century. The purpose of this research is to describe the application of the STEAM approach to improve 4c skills. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used are observation, tests, questionnaires and documentation. The result of this research learning process is that the STEAM approach is effectively used. High category students understand the material and get perfect scores. Medium category students are able to understand the material with few errors, and the location of the error is understanding the nature of spatial shapes. Meanwhile, low category students have not been able to understand the material with many errors, and the errors is in understanding the nature of spatial shapes and how to draw shapes that do not match the achievement indicators

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly increased anxiety levels in the workplace. This research explores the potential of using aromatherapy candles made from coffee bean grounds as an effective way to reduce post-pandemic anxiety. In this experiment, the test panel was given aromatherapy candles using the Organoleptic, Aroma Durability, Burn Time and Hedonic Test Methods. The results showed that the use of coffee bean aromatherapy candles resulted in a significant reduction in the anxiety levels of the test panel. Aromatherapy candles made from coffee bean dregs have proven effective in reducing anxiety levels while working post-pandemic. This product has the potential to be a useful tool in improving mental wellbeing in the work environment and providing a positive experience for users

Abstract

Precast concrete structures are considered as monolithic structures, flexural reinforcement and beam column joint shear can be planned based on design capacity. This research is an experimental study. The objective is to assess the ductility of precast concrete column beams utilizing dowels. The test specimens comprise three configurations: monolithic beam column (BN), 2 post precast beam column (BG 1), and 4 post precast beam column (BG 2), with respective displacement values of 37.4 mm, 42.7 mm, and 47 mm. This research was carried out in the stages of calculating displacement ductility using displacement parameters, and curvature ductility using parameters of cross-sectional curvature or curvature values and load values due to cyclic loads. The research results show that the displacement ductility values for test specimens BN, BG 1 and BG 2 are 2.34, 2.21 and 2.06 respectively. The curvature ductility value for test specimens BN, BG 1 and BG 2 is more than the value required in ASCE 41-17, namely 0.01 in the LS condition and in the CP condition it is 0.015. Additionally, these values surpass the stipulated requirements. This leads to the conclusion that beam column connections, whether monolithic or precast, exhibit exceptional performance in withstanding earthquake loads under both moderate seismic conditions (moderate earthquakes) and severe seismic conditions (strong earthquakes)

Abstract

The problem of impaired physical mobility in post-cesarean section patients is caused by the presence of surgical scars which cause pain in the patient, so that the patient prefers to lie down and not move. The causes of caesarean section include fetal factors, maternal factors, and birth history. Research Objective: To determine the implementation of maternity nursing care with physical exercise education for post-cesarean section patients with physical mobility problems at Lahat Hospital 2023. Research Method: Descriptive in the form of a case study, with two post-SC clients who have physical mobility problems. The approach used is nursing care which includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation. Research Results: After being given physical exercise education, namely patients 1 and 2, they were able to practice physical exercise independently. Conclusion: The implementation of nursing care with physical exercise education shows the effectiveness of reducing physical mobility disorders in post-SC patients. Exercises There is no charge, and each movement can be completed independently at home

Abstract

Competence is one of the important considerations in terms of employee placement in a particular position or position. This is in accordance with the principle of 'the right man on the right place', which means "the right person in the right place". A position that occupies a srtuktural position must of course consider the competence of the relevant employee. This research is entitled "Placement of Competency-Based Structural Officials at the Department of Youth, Sports and Tourism of Serang Regency, Banten Province (DISPORAPAR)". This study aims to understand the implementation related to the placement of structural official positions in DISPORAPAR Serang Regency Banten Province. In addition, this research also aims to find out things that become obstacle factors and efforts that can be made to resolve these obstacles. The method used in this research is qualitative research, with descriptive methods and inductive approaches. And for the data collection process, observation, interview, and documentation techniques were used. Furthermore, for data analysis techniques, the author applies data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. From the research that has been done, the results show that the structural officials in DISPORAPAR have not been placed on target

Abstract

Sleep paralysis (SP) is a sleep disorder characterized by the inability to move when awakened from sleep and the appearance of hallucinations, such as seeing shadows or hearing voices. Sleep paralysis occurs due to stress, physical fatigue, anxiety, and poor sleep quality. This condition has an impact on reduced concentration, motivation, health conditions, and decreased completion of tasks. The aim of the research is to determine students' knowledge about sleep paralysis. The research method was descriptive, with a population of D III nursing students with a sample size of 83 students. The results are that almost half of the respondents have insufficient knowledge. Conclusion: Sleep paralysis is not the result of the presence of supernatural beings, but rather a condition of paralysis, especially sensory movement muscles, which occurs during sleep and is a normal thing, so recommendations need to be provided with education about efforts to prevent sleep paralysis
