Abstract

This service aims to improve learning outcomes and the process of learning mathematics in this case, number patterns that are more active, creative and enjoyable. The process of learning mathematics in school-age children greatly influences when they go to school later. Some students feel that learning number patterns is helped and some students feel very difficult, this service activity is supported by the Student Creativity program that passed the Ministry's grant funding. The process of learning number patterns greatly impacts when they learn mathematics in this case, number patterns, therefore we are present in delivering material about number patterns in the village of Talim Preparation, North Central Alor District, Alor Regency. This activity went well, the results obtained by many students began to develop in terms of learning number patterns. The activity was carried out in the village office room, the enthusiasm of junior high school students was very good. In the process of learning mathematics about number patterns by applying realistic, it can run well and can improve the quality and learning outcomes of junior high school students.

Abstract

The training on filling the Lecturer Performance Load (BKD) through the SISTER Application within the Nusantara Academy of Finance and Banking aims to improve lecturers' understanding and ability to report their academic performance accurately and on time. BKD is an important instrument in assessing lecturer productivity in accordance with the duties and functions of the tridharma of higher education. The SISTER application developed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) facilitates online BKD reporting. However, many lecturers face obstacles in operating this application, thus requiring special assistance. Through this training, participants are equipped with practical knowledge about the procedures for filling out BKD in accordance with applicable standards, utilizing features in the application, and solving common problems that are often encountered. The results of this activity are expected to improve the efficiency and quality of lecturer performance reporting, as well as support the assessment process and career development of lecturers in the institution. This training is also a strategic step to improve accountable and information technology-based university governance.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve student digital literacy at SMPS Muhammadiyah 55 Kandangan through the implementation of Quizizz application-based quizzes. Digital literacy is increasingly important in the current era of digitalization, especially in the learning process. Through the use of educational technology such as Quizizz, it is hoped that students can get used to using technology in an interactive and fun way. The method used in this service is counseling and training to students on the use of the Quizizz application and assistance during the implementation of quizzes. This activity involves 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students who take part in interactive learning sessions using Chromebook and laptop devices. The research design used a one group pretest-posttest model to evaluate the effectiveness of the activity. The results showed a significant improvement in students' digital literacy after using the Quizizz application, with more than 70% of students experiencing an increase in posttest scores compared to the pretest. The use of this game-based application succeeded in creating a competitive and fun learning atmosphere, which had a positive impact on student motivation. However, obstacles such as limited devices and internet access are challenges that need to be overcome so that technology-based learning can run more optimally.

Abstract

The Community Service Program conducted for Nadhifa Shop, a small business facing challenges in promoting its products due to the underutilization of digital media, especially a website. The goal of this program is to assist Nadhifa Shop in expanding its market reach through the creation and management of a website using Wix Builder. The methods employed include direct training (workshop) on how to create and manage a website, personal mentoring to help the partner overcome technical issues, and simulations and case studies to optimize the website's utilization for their business. The results of the program show that Nadhifa Shop successfully built a website equipped with Home, About, Contact, and Shop menus, along with a real-time chat feature for interacting directly with customers. The partner expressed satisfaction with the results, as the website not only simplifies product management but also helps enhance customer interaction and broaden market reach. Therefore, digital management through a website has proven to be an effective solution for Nadhifa Shop's business growth in the digital era.

Abstract

This activity aims to explore the influence of interactive technology on early childhood social and emotional development in early childhood education (ECED) settings. Interactive technologies such as tablets, learning apps and game-based educational devices are increasingly common in ECE classrooms. However, their impact on children's social and emotional development is still debated. This study used a quantitative survey approach with 50 children aged 4-6 years in ECD centers who had been using interactive technology for 6 months. The results of this activity show that interactive technology can have a positive influence on the development of children's social and emotional skills, provided that its use is directed and accompanied by teachers and parents. Children with moderate exposure to interactive technology showed improvements in their ability to interact with peers, as well as better emotional development in coping with frustration and understanding the feelings of others. However, there are also indications that excessive unaccompanied use may inhibit direct social interaction. Therefore, it is important to maintain a balance in the use of interactive technology in ECD to support children's optimal development.

Abstract

Safar Store faces problems in the form of a lack of buyers due to increasing competition, limited marketing innovation, and less than optimal use of technology. To address these issues, the Community Service Program aimed to help Toko Safar increase its customer base through the use of e-commerce and digital marketing. The program employed various educational methods, including interactive workshops on website development using Wix Builder, digital marketing training, online order management education, and the introduction of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategies. The results showed that Toko Safar successfully established a functional e-commerce website with features such as a homepage, shop, cart, contact, search, and chat, which streamlined operations and enhanced customer experience. Additionally, the digital marketing training helped improve the store's online visibility and product promotion. The business owner expressed high satisfaction with the website implementation and the ongoing guidance provided. Overall, this program successfully delivered a long-term solution to improve Toko Safar’s competitiveness through digital innovation.

Abstract

Daarul Putra Madinah Islamic Boarding School has an important role in producing a generation that is noble and knowledgeable in accordance with Islamic values. However, the challenges of the digital era present an urgent need for the pesantren to integrate information and communication technology (ICT) in its education system. This pesantren faces several obstacles, such as limited digital resources, lack of understanding of technology among students and teachers, and less than optimal technology-based learning methods in supporting the understanding of Islamic values. This implementation activity aims to strengthen Islamic values through a digital approach that is more effective and relevant to the times. The activity steps include digital literacy training, multimedia-based Islamic content development, and the application of information and communication technology (ICT)-based learning applications. The expected result is an increase in the capacity of pesantren in utilizing technology to strengthen religious learning, while instilling Islamic values in a more interactive and contextual manner. With the implementation of this activity, pesantren are expected to be able to answer the challenges of modernization without sacrificing the essence of Islamic values, while creating a more inclusive, interesting, and relevant learning environment for santriDaarul Putra Madinah Islamic Boarding School has an important role in producing a generation that is noble and knowledgeable in accordance with Islamic values. Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to disseminate useful knowledge related to improving English language skills in doing  business to staff and teachers at Yayasan Chalisaturahmi Luqman Halim, Gg. Sei Sipirok, Padang Bulan Selayang I, Kec. Medan Selayang, Medan City. The PKM implementation method is carried out with participation, partnership, networking and process-oriented which includes socialization, demonstration, teaching, explaining and direct practice. Participants in this activity amounted to 25 people who were staff and teachers at the foundation.  The results of the activity were obtained through direct observation. The results and targets achieved in this service activity are to provide knowledge to the participants, especially the staff and teachers at the Chalisaturahmi Luqman Halim Foundation which can help improve English language skills in doing  business. Thus, this activity has made a real contribution in increasing understanding and developing the potential and ability of the participants in using English in accordance with the assistance provided. The questionnaire test results from the pre-test and post-test, showed an N-gain of 0.81, categorized as a high gain (g > 0.7). Therefore, it can be seen that the participants' understanding and knowledge of the use of English in running an  business has increased. This shows that the material, exposure and assistance presented by the service implementation team are quite well understood and accepted by the training participants.

Abstract

Efforts have been made to improve the quality of education at Vocational High Schools (SMK) with the teaching factory program (TEFA), which is a production or service-based learning method in accordance with current industry standards. One of the needs of Vocational Schools in an effort to support TEFA activities is digital marketing training using digital marketing methods in accordance with the marketing vocations found in Vocational Schools. This activity is designed to train PGRI Batang Vocational School students in product photography techniques and social media design using Canva. Activities are carried out in three stages, namely preparation, training and evaluation. The training includes an introduction to digital marketing concepts, basic photography techniques (lighting, composition, and exposure triangle), as well as social media content design using product photos. As a result, the participants were able to create product photos and design interesting social media content. One of the outcomes of this activity is the Instagram account @unique_clotes. since3202 which has been used to market TEFA products. The evaluation stage shows that this activity can provide digital marketing capabilities that can only be done with a simple tool in the form of a smartphone, so that it can support TEFA activities.

Abstract

In this community service, the aim is to increase the reading interest of students and Tuyuhan village residents in particular, as well as digitizing all library administration patterns which previously still used manual methods written in books. By using a direct approach to partners (interviews) about what the information system needs are. So that in creating an information system there is a foundation for the needs in the menu that will appear in the information system. When the training activities were carried out, the enthusiasm of the managers and officers was quite good so that the library information system training received a fairly good response. This library information system training has never been received before so that participants have new experience in implementing digital administration using a library information system. To support participants' understanding in the final session of the training, an evaluation was given so that participants truly understood the essence of the training. To resolve participants' problems after evaluating the library information system, additional sessions were provided for assistance assisted by student members from YPPI Rembang University. Students are given the task of helping participants after completing the training and handing over the library information system to the Gama Bina Karya library management.
