Abstract

The "city alley" Community Partnership Program in the Ujung Pandang Baru village of Makassar City is based on the fact that the field : 1) Structuring the aisles in Makassar City has become a city government program, but it is only limited to piloting and prioritizing its aesthetic value, very limited with economically valuable plants, such as vegetables. Meanwhile, the aisles as an example are fully facilitated by the city government. Potted plants and other supporting facilities such as compost have been prepared, and 2) Specifically for Ujung Pandang Baru Village, Makassar City, only 5 of the 80 active Park aisles. other aisles are not active and / or are not included in the sample aisles.This is because the garden aisle program is more top-down without the active participation of the community. For this reason, in the context of learning and community empowerment, it needs to be educated so that they can manage the plants and fertilizers used for plant fertility.The method of implementation of this activity is training and technical assistance in the cultivation of the hydroponic system because it is following the conditions of the alley which no longer leaves land for direct planting. Meanwhile, to support the growth of plants, both vegetables and ornamental plants, environmentally friendly fertilizer in the form of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) and / or compost using the Takakura method is needed. All stages of the activity are carried out in a participatory manner involving the target group. This PKM activity has given changes to the aspects of knowledge and skills of participants in cultivating hydroponic system plants, especially the variety of healthy vegetables and of economic value, skilled in making environmentally friendly liquid organic fertilizers.

Abstract

The quality of education in Indonesia is determined by several factors, one of them is professional teacher. Professional teachers are those who have the ability to deliver subject matter in depth and comprehensive. The teacher proffesionalism can be developed through a professional organization. In relation to this matter, the Subject Teacher Working Group (MGMP) is a professional organization with a legal body that aims to develop teacher professionalism. The activities carried out by Physical Education Teacher Working Group as an effort to improve the quality of education and develop teacher competencies are: a) conducting curriculum deepening, b) developing syllabus, c) developing lesson plan, d) developing teaching materials, e) creating and implement- ing analysis instructional materials, f) developing assessment systems, g) compiling exam content outlines and questions, h) developing learning models, i) informing and implementing learning. The Physical Education Teacher Working Group in schools has an important role in the development of professional competencies, providing solutions to overcome the problems experienced during the Physical Education learning process, both at the primary, junior high and high school level. Some of these problems include limited infrastructure and facilities, low quality of teaching orirrelevant learning models to the physical and mental development of students.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melakukan edukasi kepada masyarak kelurahan Bulutanah melalui pelatihan (a) Pemeliharaan alat rumah tangga listrik; (b) Teknik servis alat rumah tangga listrik; dan (c) Teknik pencegahan Virus Corona (COVID-19). Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pada akhir kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini, diketahui bahwa secara keseluruhan warga masysrakat kelurahan Bulutanah yang telah mengikuti pelatihan teknik listrik rumah tangga di Kab. Gowa Prov. Sulawesi Selatan akibat pademi Covid-19 sudah memadai. Berdasarlan hasil evaluasi yang kami lakukan dengan jalan berdiskusi langsung dengan peserta ternyata 90% telah mengetahui tentang  a) Pemeliharaan alat rumah tangga listrik; (b) Teknik servis alat rumah tangga listrik; dan (c) Teknik pencegahan Virus Corona (COVID-19), dan hanya 10% yang masih kurang karena faktor keterbatasan waktu dan kemampuan peserta.

Abstract

Abstrak. Desain grafis atau rancang grafis adalah proses komunikasi menggunakan elemen visual, seperti tipografi, fotografi, serta ilustrasi yang dimaksudkan untuk menciptakan persepsi akan suatu pesan yang disampaikan. Bidang ini melibatkan proses komunikasi visual dan desain komunikasi. Desainer grafis membuat dan mengkombinasikan simbol, gambar, dan teks untuk membentuk representasi gagasan dan pesan secara visual. Desainer grafis menggunakan teknik tipografi, seni rupa, dan tata letak halaman untuk membuat komposisi visual. Penggunaan umum dari desain grafis adalah seperti desain perusahaan (logo dan merek), desain editorial (majalah, surat kabar, dan buku), desain lingkungan, periklanan, desain web, desain komunikasi, dan kemasan produk. Hal ini dapat dijadikan sebagai wirausaha bagi pelajar  atau kelompok siswa yang memiliki keunggulan di bidang desain grafis. Kata kunci: Desain Grafis, wirausaha. siswa

Abstract

The implementation of the 2013 curriculum is one way for the government to improve the quality of education inIndonesia. In its implementation, the 2013 curriculum promotes a scientific approach (Scientific Approach) in its learning. Oneof the materials in learning Biology is Biotechnology, which in its implementation is still rarely carried out practicum because oflimited knowledge and raw materials. Kefir is one of the conventional biotechnology products that can use milk raw materials(one of the superior products in the Enrekang Regency). Kefir is formed after milk is fermented using kefir seeds in a way that issimpler than other conventional biotechnology products. The introduction of kefir making needs to be done to teachers andstudents of Enrekang Regency to support learning Biotechnology materials. This activity was carried out on 19-20 July 2019, atEnrekang Public High School 2 with participants coming from teachers and students from various junior and senior high schoolsin Enrekang Regency. The activity was attended by 13 participants and has succeeded in providing knowledge about theimportance of practicing kefir to support learning Biotechnology in schools. In addition, the participants were also able toformulate the title / theme of kefir-based research for the preparation of scientific papers.

Abstract

Tamarunang is located approximately 10 km fromMakassar, and about 4 km from the border of Makassar Cityand Gowa Regency. As a developing area, TamarunangVillage is a reference for developers to build urbancommunities houses. The urbanization makes the growth ofhousing development more rapid. This has an impact onrainwater catchment areas turned into residential housing areas.The problems faced in this community partnership programsare: 1) the living area of partner 1 and 2 have poor drainageand reduced rain water catchment areas, 2) the impact of poordrainage causes water to overflow and pool on the public roadsand yard, 3) the garbage and sedimentation that accumulates inthe drainage causes clogged water flow, 4) due to thedevelopment of housing construction, causing the flowdirection and pattern of environmental drainage flow in thepartner area to be unclear. The method used in this communitypartnership program is mentoring method and participatoryrural approach (PRA) method. The mentoring method wascarried out to change the community's paradigm of thinking inhandling environmental drainage, increasing the community'sunderstanding of environmental cleanliness and structuring,and facilitating partners in making infiltration drainage, flowdirection maps, and environmental arrangement. The PRAmethod is carried out to arouse the partner's sense of belongingto the product to be developed, and the partner's sense ofresponsibility towards the products and environment thatsurrounds them. The main method adopted in this CommunityPartnership Program (PKM) activity is the time of presentationof counseling material, the method used is lecture, discussion,question and answer, and simulation, while during the practiceof making infiltration drainage, the method used isdemonstration. The results are the installation of biopori pipes,overflowing water and pooling on the road and the people'shome page has been reduced, and rainwater does not causestanding water on the road and downstream of the housingarea. And the construction of the drainage channel is intendedso that the drainage channel is not blocked again which cancause water to overflow into the highway.

Abstract

Abstrak. Desa Sokkolia Kecamatan Bontomarannu yang masyarakatnya mayoritas petani dan peternak. Permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakatnya (keluarga Peternak ayam pedaging dan petelur) adalah: 1) manajemen usaha ternak yang masih lemah, 2, pengelolaan dan ketersediaan ransum yang belum memadai, 3) belum ada teknologi pembuatan ransum yang efektif dilakukan, 4) Rendahnya pengetahuan kewirausahaan yang dimiliki, 5) pembiaayaan usaha dan proses produksi masih tinggi. Luaran yang diharapkan adalah: 1) Ransum yang Rendah Lemak dan Kolesterol, 3) Pengelolaan ayam Broiler Rendah Lemak Kolesterol. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah program pelatihan dalam bentuk kegiatan 30 % teori dan 70 % praktek cukup efektif, sehingga peserta dapat melihat dan mempraktekkan yang disampaikan dan para petani peternak  antusias dan senang dalam mengikuti pelatihan penyusunan ransum ayam yang akan menghasilkan ayam pedaging yang rendah lemak dan kolesterol. Kata kunci: ransum broiler, rendah lemak, kolesterol dan pengelolaan ayam

Abstract

Mitra Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini adalah SMK Negeri 2 Makassar. Permasalahan utama dari kegiatan ini yaitu kurangnya media pembelajaran dan motivasi guru dalam menyiapkan media pembelajaran itu sendiri. Akibatnya, proses pembelajaran berjalan apa adanya, peserta didik hanya mencatat, perangkat pembelajaran tidak dirancang secara sistematis dengan ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana yang belum lengkap. Oleh karena itu dilakukan pelatihan bagi guru-guru produktif jurusan teknik elektronika di SMK Negeri 2 Makassar agar dapat mengembangkan kompetensinya dalam bidang pembuatan media pembelajaran berupa trainer. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan mitra pendamping. Hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan ini adalah diperoleh trainer sensor dan transduser sebagai media pembelajaran praktikum bagi peserta didik. Selain itu, indikator keberhasilan penerapan desain media pembelajaran trainer sensor dan transduser menunjukkan hasil memuaskan yang terlihat dari hasil evaluasi dan pemantauan terhadap uji coba penggunaan trainer sensor dan transduser oleh guru-guru di SMK Negeri 2 Makassar. Hasil Uji Coba penggunaan trainer menunjukkan bahwa 94% guru-guru mampu melakukan simulasi rangkaian sebelum melakukan praktek secara langsung pada trainer, 82%  peserta mampu membuat program dan sebanyak 76% peserta mampu merangkai dan menggunakan trainer sensor dan transduser. Serta respon guru terhadap kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini menunjukkan 88% peserta menyatakan puas terhadap kegiatan ini

Abstract

Indoor hockey was developed in Germany during the 1950s, quickly spreading to other European countries. FIH (International Hockey Federation) recognized indoor hockey in its constitution in 1968. The room hockey rules were issued by the International Hockey Federation (FIH) on January 1, 2017. This regulation contains the playing field, the composition of players, team captains, player clothing and player equipment, matches and results of matches, starting and restarting matches, ball out of the field, scoring method, player behavior, special goalkeeper and goalkeeper, game judge (referee), punishment, penalty taking procedure, personal punishment, and arbitration. The results of the community service activities found that all community service participants felt enthusiastic and there was a desire to play hockey, especially indoor hockey games, on the grounds that indoor hockey games were played indoors.

Abstract

Classroom Action Research (CAR) Training is one of Community Service programs which aims to help studentsof Home Economics Department who are highly interested inconducting CAR as their undergraduate thesis method.Meanwhile, this subject has been changed into GeneralResearch Methodology. This training involved twenty studentsof Home Economics Department in Faculty of Engineering ofUniversitas Negeri Makassar. Method used in this trainingwere lecturing, question and answer session, and discussion.This Community Service Program aims to: 1) improvestudents’ understanding on CAR, 2) improve students’creativity in constructing research titile and research problems,3) improve students ability in developing research backgroundand research purposes, 4) improve students’ ability inreviewing literature and selecting hypothesis, 5) improvestudents’ ability in choosing data collection technique andcycle in CAR, 6) improve students’ ability in analyzing thecollected data, 7) improve students ability in writing CARproposal. After conducting CAR Training to twenty students,the result showed that students understand well how to writegood CAR proposal, choose research gap, formulateappropriate research title, purposes, reviewing literature,hypothesis, research framework, and research method. Theparticipants not only can write good CAR proposal butinspired to re-open the class of CAR as one of subjects inHome Economics Department curriculum.
