Dulang adalah jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang ditertbitkan dan dikelola oleh Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bangka Belitung. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menginformasikan hasil-hasil pengabdian dari seluruh civitas akademika tentang beragam inovasi dan solusi-solusi dalam berbagai persoalan dalam masyarakat maupun industri. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dalam 2 edisi setiap tahunnya, yaitu pada bulan Maret dan September. Ruang lingkup dari jurnal ini meliputi: 1. Penerapan Teknologi Tepat Guna pada masyarakat; 2. Pelatihan untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat; 3. Produk hasil penelitian yang diterapkan pada UMKM maupun sekolah; 4. Penerapan hasil pengembangan teknologi untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan; 5. Penerapan program pelatihan kerja pada Industri.

Abstract

The Bangka Belitung Islands are an archipelagic area which is located at 104°50' to 109° East Longitude and 0°50' to 4°10' South Latitude, there are 6 districts and 1 municipality, and with a population of 1,473,165 people. Bangka Belitung is famous for its tin mines, almost 80% of its tin production comes from Bangka Belitung, apart from that, the marine sector also has a distribution role in regional PAD supplies. With the support of fishing boats, fishery products in 2022 will be 196,704 tons/year. To increase fishing capacity in the future, facilities are needed that can support more fishing capacity, apart from ships with larger capacity, they must also be accompanied by other facilities, namely in terms of energy, both for engines and for lighting. To develop renewable energy to support the maritime sector, a system is needed to supply energy, especially to fishing boats, to reduce fuel dependency. By using a clean and efficient energy-generating tool, namely by using a solar cell, with a capacity of 100 wp, a 12Volt/40 HA battery can produce 480 watts of power, so you can light 10 lights with a capacity of 15 watts for 5 hours, meaning you can save fuel by 20-30%.

Abstract

Katumbangan Village is a village in Polewali Mandar District, Polewali Mandar Regency, where the majority of the population is farming and gardening. Katumbangan Village, like other areas in Polewali Mandar Regency, has a fairly large population of chicken farms, so the amount of chicken meat and by-products is quite large. With this potential, the Women Farmers Group conducted training on poultry waste processing, namely the manufacture of intestinal and claw chips with the aim of providing new knowledge and skills in the manufacture of processed poultry waste products, marketing, and monitoring. The results of implementing community service in processing poultry waste and claws are that participants understand the manufacture of intestines and claw chips by 95%, participants are able to understand and know how to make intestine and claw chips as well as poultry waste processing technology by 90%, participants are able to package poultry waste products, participants interested in starting a business selling claws, participants were able to calculate the profit from selling claws as much as 85%. The benefits felt by participants were increased knowledge and skills in processing intestine and claw chips. The income that can be obtained from selling claw and intestine chips is IDR 35,000/kg. This community service activity must be further developed, so as to be able to produce large-scale intestinal and claw chips which can open up jobs and absorb labor.

Abstract

Nagari Padang Ganting is a unique village in West Sumatera, Indonesia, with a wide variety of tourist attractions, including man-made/health attractions such as hot springs, cultural attractions such as the tombs of Tuan Kadhi and Sheikh Ibrahim, and natural attractions such as Nabi's footsteps stone and the seven-tiered waterfall. However, at present, tourists only focus on visiting the hot spring tourist attraction, due to the lack of clear information about other tourist attractions in Nagari Padang Ganting. Currently, there is a website and a profile video of Nagari Padang Ganting, but it is necessary to create a profile video about the other attractions in Nagari Padang Ganting to provide more information for tourists who will visit. This activity aims to provide a solution to the existing problems, namely by creating a profile video of the Nagari Padang Ganting tourist attractions, thereby increasing the promotion of Nagari Padang Ganting tourism. This will certainly attract local and foreign tourists to visit Nagari Padang Ganting, thus helping the community's economy because it receives a multiplier effect from the tourism activities that exist in Nagari Padang Ganting. So it is directly beneficial to Nagari Padang Ganting, the Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS) and the people of Nagari Padang Ganting, especially in the effort to improve community welfare through the promotion of tourist attractions in Nagari Padang Ganting. The profile video of the tourist attractions in Nagari Padang Ganting has been uploaded on the YouTube channel of the Nagari Padang Ganting Government and the Facebook social media of the Nagari Padang Ganting Government.

Abstract

This training activity is part of a series of efforts to manage organic waste with the aim of producing compost fertilizer in the Kersik Village area, Marangkayu District. Using participatory research methods, this training documents the main processes in managing organic waste from local sources. The focus includes the natural fermentation techniques used as well as assessing the quality and yield of the compost produced. In addition, this activity considers the active involvement of local communities in implementing environmentally friendly waste management practices. The analysis carried out includes technical aspects of the waste composting process as well as exploration of the social, economic and environmental impacts this initiative has on the welfare of local communities as well as efforts to reduce negative impacts on the environment. By holding this training activity, it is hoped that it can provide useful insights in strengthening sustainable organic waste management strategies in Kersik Village, while also contributing to efforts to maintain the sustainability and welfare of the local community.

Abstract

This research is about the implementation of Smart School Bell based on the Internet of Things (IoT) with the aim of increasing the effectiveness of communication at IT Cendekia Elementary School. The background of this research arises from general problems related to the use of school bells that are still manual and less effective in conveying information to students and teachers. By utilizing the concept of IoT, this research develops a Smart School Bell that is automated and connected online. This research consists of three main stages, namely Pre-Input, Process, and Output. In the Pre-Input stage, the project concept was designed and a survey was conducted to SDIT Cendekia to understand partner needs. The Process stage includes the design and manufacture of the Smart School Bell tool, as well as setting the bell schedule automatically. At the Output stage, this project produces a school bell system that functions automatically with a human voice, increasing the efficiency of the learning process at school. Evaluation results obtained from filling out questionnaires by SDIT Cendekia educators show that the implementation of Smart School Bell has succeeded in increasing the effectiveness of communication at school with an average rating of 4,73 or very good.

Abstract

Shibori Technique Batik Making Training as the Main Foundation in Building a Creative Business in Kersik Village. This research aims to examine the potential for creative business development in Kersik Village through batik training using the Shibori technique. It is hoped that this training method will provide sufficient knowledge and skills for the local community to produce batik products with unique Shibori characteristics. In this way, it is hoped that the people of Kersik Village can utilize this expertise as a basis for opening sustainable creative businesses, increasing local economic income, and ultimately, supporting holistic village development. This research encourages the adoption of traditional technology in a modern business context, stimulates local economic growth, and celebrates the cultural heritage of Kersik Village through the art of batik using the Shibori technique.

Abstract

Automation control systems are pivotal in the advancement of Industry 4.0, especially within vocational school settings. Nevertheless, significant challenges arise due to the lack of adequate instructional tools, resulting in disparities among vocational schools across different regions. To address this issue, this study proposes the provision of trainer kits and the conduction of comprehensive training on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) to bolster practical learning experiences. Moreover, the integration of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach within vocational school curricula is deemed essential. The successful implementation of PBL at the Polman Negeri Babel campus serves as a model to be replicated among vocational school teachers, with the aim of enhancing student engagement and contributing to the development of basic technological solutions within the community.This community service initiative seeks to strengthen collaboration between vocational schools and higher vocational education institutions. The anticipated outcomes include the provision of instructional tools, such as trainer modules, and targeted training on PLC and HMI to facilitate practical learning. These efforts are intended to improve the competencies of both teachers and students in industrial automation control systems, thereby underscoring the critical role of higher vocational education institutions in the development of vocational schools. Evaluation of the initiative revealed high levels of perceived usefulness, with a rating of 92.5%, followed by the effectiveness of the delivery method at 86.88%, and the quality of training materials at 80.83%. These results highlight the significant impact and value of the provided training and resources.

Abstract

This training aims to improve students' memorization of the Al-Qur'an at SD Negeri 08 Pulau Air. Students have difficulty in reading and writing. This problem is caused by a lack of parental assistance in the child's learning process at home and a lack of interest in learning. However, despite these limitations, students have advantages in religious knowledge, such as reading and memorizing the Al-Qur'an juz 30. This Al-Qur'an tahfidz training activity uses the tasmi' and muraja'ah methods with a Service-Learning approach. The implementation of the activity involved 6 students who had the ability to memorize the Al-Qur'an, read makhorijul letters, and apply the rules of tajwid properly and correctly. The training was carried out in 8 meetings in stages. The first stage carried out is the planning stage, at this stage the server carries out observations, needs analysis and activity planning. The second implementation stage is for the service provider to coordinate with the school principal and teachers and conduct tests on students who have the ability to memorize the Al-Qur'an, then carry out activities and deepen the material using tasmi' and muraja'. ah method in accordance with the activity plan. The third closing stage, at this stage there will be practice memorizing and continuing verses, as well as demonstrating students' abilities. The results of this training based on data obtained by researchers and developments obtained by participants show that this training can improve students' memorization abilities and quality at a very good level.

Abstract

The material manufacturing process involving the deep drawing process is often challenging in small and medium industries. That is due to the many complicated parameters that must be overcome during the process. The deep drawing is a complex steel forming process because it involves blank dimensions, dimension/height ratio (D/H ratio), and die/punches tolerance (D/P allowance). Failure to identify blank dimensions and D/H ratio will result in defects in the production process, such as tears and wrinkles. This service aims to help MSMEs overcome common failures in production processes involving deep drawing. This community service article discusses technology dissemination to small business groups (UKM) for the deep drawing process in producing R-ornament #3D40x40 components involving these three variables. R-ornament #3D40x40 is produced using SPCC-SD material with a thickness of 0.8 mm. The participatory action research (PAR) method approach assists MSMEs in optimizing blank dimensions, D/H ratio, and D/P allowance simultaneously with partners. Identification of a D/P allowance of 1.41 mm has eliminated wrinkle defects in the product. Identifying deep drawing parameters has helped MSMEs overcome the production process so that tearing and wrinkle defects do not occur.

Abstract

Observations carried out at SMAN 2 Rejang Lebong show that readiness to implement the independent curriculum and the use of the Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) in its implementation is still lacking. So, it is necessary to assist in the use of PMM in implementing the independent curriculum at SMAN 2 Rejang Lebong. The aim of this service is to introduce the features in PMM for Mathematics and Science (MIPA) teachers at SMAN 2 Rejang Lebong. Providing knowledge and skills for MIPA teachers at SMAN 2 Rejang Lebong regarding the use of PMM in implementing the independent curriculum. The target of this activity is MIPA teachers at SMAN 2 Rejang Lebong. The total number of targets is around 22 people. Furthermore, participants who had received training directed teachers in other fields of study who had not been invited to this activity. The methods used in this activity are training and workshops, guided assignment work and evaluation monitoring at the final stage. Based on the results of the service that has been carried out, teachers are very enthusiastic about participating in the training. As many as 100% of teachers have successfully opened an account at PMM and 85% have utilized the features available at PMM.
