Jurnal Penelitian Ilmu Ushuluddin (e-ISSN 2774-8340) is a peer-reviewed journal that is published by the Faculty of Ushuluddin UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. This Journal publishes current original research on religious studies and Islamic studies using an interdisciplinary perspective, especially within Islamic Theology (Ushuluddin) studies and its related teachings resources: Religious studies, Islamic thought, Islamic philosophy, Quranic studies, Hadith studies, and Islamic mysticism. Reviewers will review any submitted paper. The review process employs a double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa.

This study aims to fill the gap in the study of the relationship between Maslow's motivation theory and teacher performance, which has not been widely explored in the context of madrasah. The main problem identified was the low performance of teachers at MTs Negeri 6 Sumedang, such as the lack of use of varied learning media and innovative methods, as well as the lack of motivation to improve pedagogical quality. This study uses qualitative methods through interviews, observations, and documentation to assess the fulfillment of teacher needs based on Maslow's hierarchy. The results of the study show that the fulfillment of physiological needs and sense of security of ASN teachers is relatively good, but the need for appreciation and self-actualization still requires special attention. The awards given tend to be limited to verbal praise, while self-actualization is reflected in the teacher's participation in the training. Motivational strategies include the provision of performance-based incentives, periodic training, and formal recognition. A conducive work environment and transformational leadership also contribute significantly to teacher motivation. The application of Maslow's theory is able to improve teacher motivation and performance through a structured approach at each level of need. It is recommended that madrasah increase formal awards and provide more opportunities for professional development. This effort is expected to be able to create teachers who are more motivated, innovative, and contribute to the quality of education.

This paper explains a problem, namely the visualization of the controversial Hadith about wearing a veil like a camel's hump in TikTok social media content. Given the current situation, the author argues that the visualized hadith understanding is still potentially not in accordance with the hadith scholars. This research directly observes several TikTok accounts and then conducts descriptive analysis and data analysis using Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotics to find out how the visualization of the hadith understanding of veiling like a camel's hump on TikTok social media content and is supported by primary data sources taken directly from the hadith content of veiling like a camel's hump on TikTok social media and hadith scholarly books in the form of Sahih Muslim bi Syarh An-Nawawi, digital applications such as Encyclopedi Hadith and Al-Maktabah Al-Syamilah, as well as relevant articles or literature. The results of this study indicate that the understanding of the Hadith of veiling like a camel's hump in the content posted on the social media accounts @nu_online and @alfateh_collection is in accordance with the explanation of the Hadith in the Sahih Muslim commentary book, where Imam An-Nawawi states, “their heads appear like the humps of camels that are tilted.” This refers to women who raise their heads like the humps of camels. This refers to women who raise their heads with veils, head coverings, and the like that are rolled up over the head, not at the back, so that they look similar to a camel's hump.

This study aims to examine the methodology of hadith sanad criticism according to Kamaruddin Amin which can provide an answer to the question of the authenticity of Prophetic traditions based on historical studies. This study is a qualitative research based on literature review with descriptive and content analysis methods. The study presents Kamaruddin Amin's study in analyzing the hadith of fasting by elaborating the methods of hadith sanad criticism of Muslim and Western scholars. The conclusion of this study is to show that the results of the methods of Muslim scholars, Juynboll, and the one applied by Kamaruddin Amin in examining the hadith of fasting are historically different. The point that distinguishes it from the other two methods is the equal placement of the sanad and matan in determining the origin of a hadith. The recommendation for future researchers is to apply Kamaruddin Amin's method in reading the authenticity of other traditions.

This research aims to analyze the relationship between spiritual intelligence and artificial intelligence from the perspective of Al-Qur'an. Its primary objectives include identifying the limitations of artificial intelligence in replicating human intelligence, exploring the concept of human intelligence according to Al-Qur'an, highlighting the superiority of spiritual intelligence, and offering Qur'anic guidance on balancing spiritual intelligence and artificial intelligence. The study employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach. Relevant literature sources are analyzed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the topic. The findings conclude that artificial intelligence has inherent limitations in replicating human emotional and spiritual aspects. Al-Qur'an emphasizes the importance of balancing spiritual intelligence and technological advancements to ensure that humanity does not become overly absorbed in technological progress, neglecting the essential aspects of life vertically (relationship with God) and horizontally (relationship with others). For future research, it is recommended to conduct empirical studies that observe how the integration of spiritual intelligence in managing technology, particularly artificial intelligence, can support the development of ethical and human-centered technologies.

This article discusses the comparison of the permissibility of combining prayers according to the hadith from the perspective of Sunni and Shia, two major schools of thought in Islam. This study aims to discuss the hadith basis that underpins the practice of combining prayers, both in emergency situations and outside of emergency situations, according to the interpretations of both sects.The method used is qualitative analysis through literature review, such as hadith books, books containing the views of prominent scholars from each school of thought, articles and related scientific works. The research results show that the Sunni school generally permits combining prayers under certain conditions such as travel, rain, or emergencies, based on hadiths narratedÄ by the Prophet's companions. Meanwhile, the Shia school of thought is more flexible in allowing combining prayers, not limited to emergency conditions, based on the traditions of the Infallible Imams. This comprehensive research reveals that the differences in perspective are rooted in the methodological approaches to hadis interpretation and the mechanisms of authority legitimation in legal determination.

The purpose of this study is the construction of the interpretation of the Tafsir Lenyepaneun by Moh. E. Hasim in building interfaith relations in Sundanese society. This research method is qualitative with a character approach and his work. The results and discussion of this research include aspects of toleration in Islam (inter-religious relations), then the figure of the mufassir Moh. E. Hasim and the Tafsir Lenyepaneun and the verses related to tolerance of his interpretation. The conclusion of this research is that respecting and appreciating differences in beliefs is proof of faith in the God of Allah SWT. The mind given by God is used to establish peaceful and harmonious relationships, not to fight each other like animals.

This study was conducted with the aim of exploring the role of teacher professional ethics in the teaching process at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bandung City. The main focus of this study is to understand how the application of teacher ethics can influence the dynamics of learning and the formation of student character. Teacher ethics include moral responsibility in educating, shaping student behavior, and creating a conducive learning environment. To achieve this goal, a philosophical approach with qualitative methods was used. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with the principal, Akidah Akhlak teachers, and students to obtain an in-depth perspective on the application of teacher ethics in learning activities. The results of the study revealed that teacher ethics have a significant contribution in creating a positive learning atmosphere. Teachers who consistently carry out moral responsibility are able to build trust, increase student motivation, and create harmonious interactions in the educational environment. The presence of ethical teachers is also a role model for students in developing good attitudes and behaviors. Based on these findings, the study recommends the need for further studies related to the application of teacher ethics at various levels of education. The study is expected to broaden insight and support the development of ethics-based education policies, so as to improve the quality of learning in madrasas and other educational institutions.

The integration between intellectuality and spirituality in Sufism is very necessary because it can produce self-actualization for followers of tarekat, so that human behavior will reflect divine traits in their daily lives. This study aims to examine the relationship between intellectuality and spirituality which then has an impact on the morality of the congregation of the Naqsabandiyah Khalidiyah tariqah perspective. This research uses a qualitative method conducted at the Prof. Dr. Kadirun Yahya Foundation located on Jenderal Gatot Subroto Street KM 4.5 Sei Siskamling Medan, North Sumatra. This study found that in the study of Naqsabandiyah Khalidiyah tarekat pioneered by Shaykh Kadirun Yahya, self-actualization or ihsan behavior in Sufism can be obtained through a process of integration between intellectual and spiritual potential. This is done because every congregation of the congregation must have an understanding and ability to explain the scientific concepts of the implementation of spiritual rituals performed. The scientific tradition built by Sheikh Kadirun Yahya in Tarekat Naqsabandiyah Khalidiyah is intended to encourage the intellectual potential of the congregation, considering that theories related to general sciences such as natural science, physics, and chemistry are growing rapidly. Meanwhile, religious sciences seem to have developed rapidly, but have stagnated due to religious teachings that are adhered to traditionally and dogmatically. Future research is expected to further analyze the contribution of Shaykh Kadirun Yahya's thought to the renewal of the Sufism tradition in a modern context, especially amid the challenges of globalization and secularization.
