Abstract

This Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat aims to enhance the efficiency and security of the information system at Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Komunikasi Profesi Indonesia through the implementation of a modern framework-based website. In the digital era, the need for responsive, secure, and efficient systems has become crucial to supporting academic and administrative processes. Through this activity, a website was developed using the framework, known for its strengths in efficiency and security. The implementation methodology involved several stages, including user needs analysis, system design, framework implementation, functional testing, and training for institutional staff. This approach was designed to ensure that the system developed not only meets user requirements but also safeguards institutional data from cybersecurity threats.The outcome of this activity is a website with key features such as academic data management, institutional information dissemination, and communication among stakeholders. The impact of this activity is the enhancement of the institution's technological capabilities in managing information digitally, contributing to the development of educational quality and public services. With this framework-based website, Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Komunikasi Profesi Indonesia can become a more competitive and adaptive institution in response to advancements in information technology. Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance learning motivation and digital literacy of learners at PKBM Bina Insan Kamil through the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. The initial conditions indicated low learning motivation caused by work-related fatigue, limited learning methods, and minimal use of digital technology by tutors. Although most learners already owned digital devices such as smartphones, their digital literacy skills remained limited. Tutors also faced challenges in mastering AI-based learning applications, resulting in conventional and less engaging instructional practices. This program was designed through intensive training and mentoring on the use of ChatGPT, Canva AI, Duolingo AI, Gamma AI, and AI Generate as innovative and technology-driven learning solutions. The implementation stages included preparation, training, implementation assistance, and evaluation. The results demonstrated an increase in learners’ motivation, improved ability to utilize AI-based applications for learning, and enhanced tutor competence in developing more engaging digital learning materials. The application of gamification through Duolingo AI significantly increased learner participation and engagement. Furthermore, the digitalization of PKBM administrative processes positively impacted institutional management efficiency. Overall, this program successfully supported digital transformation in non-formal education and has strong potential for sustainable implementation. Abstract

Dalam bidang pendidikan, teknologi telah memberikan banyak pengaruh yang signifikan. Dengan adanya aplikasi media pembelajaran interaktif, pendidikan menjadi lebih dinamis. Namun, penting untuk dicatat bahwa teknologi bukanlah pengganti pengajaran atau interaksi sosial diruang kelas melainkan pendukung yang dapat meningkatkan pengalaman belajar siswa. Augmented reality adalah teknologi yang menggabungkan elemen virtual dengan dunia nyata berjalan secara real time. Augmented Reality digunakan untuk menampilkan obek virtual dalam dunia nyata dengan menggunakan interaksi benda tiga dimensi. Perhatikan interaksi pengguna dengan augmented reality seperti lingkunan fisik. Untuk menjelajahi objek virtual dalam pembelajaran mandiri didasarkan pada kebutuhan minat para siswa-siswi SMK PGRI 31 Legok sebagai referensi alat bantu para siswa-siswi dalam mempelajari materi pelajaran. Memberikan pengetahuan para siswa-siswi SMK PGRI 31 Legok menggunakan Augmanted Reality menjelajahi obek virtual untuk belajar secara mandiri sebagai referensi alat bantu para siswa-siswi. Secara umum hasil pelaksanaan memperlihatkan hasil yang positif bagi para siswa-siswi tentang Augmented Reality yang memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik dan interaktif yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to improve the literacy and skills of educators at Al-Amanah Vocational High School, Sindang Jaya, Tangerang, Banten, in understanding and applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to teaching and learning activities. The training focused on the use of two main platforms, ChatGPT and Google Gemini, as tools for developing teaching materials, creating questions, and conducting interactive classroom simulations. The implementation method used interactive lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training. The results showed a significant improvement in participant skills, with 85% of teachers able to implement Al to support learning and create digital teaching materials. Furthermore, 98% of participants showed a significant increase in AI understanding, and 92% stated they were ready to implement AI in the learning process. The activity also resulted in the formation of the Al-Amanah Vocational High School Smart Teacher community as a platform for the sustainability of training and sharing good practices among teachers. Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve digital literacy and understanding of artificial intelligence technology among vocational high school students, particularly those majoring in Software and Game Development (PPLG). The rapid growth of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computer Vision requires vocational students not only to become technology users but also to understand the concepts, working processes, and potential applications in industry. The activity was conducted at SMK Raflesia Depok on November 13 with 20 participants from the 12th-grade PPLG class. The program employed interactive lectures, hands-on demonstrations, an introduction to how Computer Vision works, and practical sessions using Google Teachable Machine to train image-based classification models without programming. The results show that students significantly improved their understanding of AI fundamentals, the workflow of Computer Vision, and its use in modern applications such as face recognition, augmented reality, and object detection. In addition, students were able to create simple classification models using images captured in real time. This activity had a positive impact on increasing student interest in AI and provided foundational knowledge aligned with the competency needs of the digital industry.

Abstract

Programming is the process of creating instructions that can be executed by a computer to perform specific tasks. This process can be analogized to a robot capable of carrying out simple activities, such as picking up toys or drawing. In order for the robot to perform these tasks, clear and systematic instructions must be provided. Programming, therefore, refers to the process of constructing such instructions so that computers or robots are able to understand and execute them; these instructions are commonly referred to as code or programs. Programming plays a crucial role in the professional world, as it opens up extensive career opportunities and enhances problem-solving skills. Through learning programming, individuals are able to develop applications, websites, games, or tools that can be utilized by others, thereby fostering creativity and deepening technological understanding. It motivate lecturers from the Informatics Engineering Study Program, Universitas Pamulang, to share their knowledge and experience with students of SMK BINA KARYA INSAN, a private vocational school located in Pondok Benda, Pamulang, South Tangerang. The implementation of this training program aims to enhance students’ knowledge and interest in understanding programming more comprehensively. It is expected that this training will broaden students’ perspectives and increase their awareness of the importance of computer technology, particularly in the field of programming. This community service activity was conducted by lecturers from the Faculty of Computer Science, Informatics Engineering Study Program, Universitas Pamulang, under the title “Basic Training on Microsoft Excel / Spreadsheet for Students of SMK BINA KARYA INSAN, Ciputat, South Tangerang.” The initial stage of the program involved the installation of the required applications, carried out by the lecturer team from the Informatics Engineering Program of Universitas Pamulang. The subsequent stage consisted of delivering training sessions to the students of SMK BINA KARYA INSAN Ciputat. The presenters delivered the training material theoretically through presentations, with students acting as participants, listeners, and implementers. Abstract

Advances in information technology have brought significant changes to human life, including in the world of Islamic education. One example of this progress is the emergence of websites as digital media, which have now become an essential part of daily activities. In Indonesia, with more than 220 million internet users (APJII, 2024), the digital world is developing rapidly. However, this increase in user numbers has not been accompanied by adequate digital literacy skills, especially among Islamic boarding school students. Nafidatunnajah Islamic Boarding School in Rawakalong Village, Gunung Sindur District, Bogor Regency, is one of the Islamic educational institutions that still uses traditional methods in teaching and learning. While these values ​​and traditions are important to maintain, modern developments require Islamic boarding schools to balance religious education with digital skills. To date, most students have not received training in technology, particularly website management. Yet, websites have great potential to be used as a means of preaching, publishing activities, and digital-based learning. Through websites, Islamic boarding schools can introduce their institutions, broadcast activities, and disseminate Islamic values ​​more widely. Unfortunately, there are several obstacles such as a lack of computer and internet facilities, a lack of educators who understand information technology, and a low awareness of the importance of digital skills in Islamic boarding schools. This program aims to improve the digital skills of students through an introduction to basic website concepts, the practice of creating simple web pages, and an understanding of the ethics of using technology according to Islamic values. This activity is expected to broaden the students' horizons that technology is not a threat, but rather a tool that can be used to strengthen da'wah, spread knowledge, and increase the competitiveness of the Islamic boarding school generation. Abstract

The need for affordable, flexible, and efficient information technology is increasingly pressing in this rapidly evolving digital era. Cloud computing is one innovation that addresses this challenge. With this technology, users can use the internet to manage, store, and access data and applications without the need for local hardware. The activity, themed "Introducing Cloud Computing as a Learning Support (Definition, Benefits, Examples, and Implementation)," was conducted. Cloud computing allows students to save their work without worrying about data loss, access learning resources anytime and anywhere, and even interact with peers confidently. With cloud computing, data can be stored and programs can be run over the internet, eliminating the need to store everything on a computer or flash drive. Despite this, many students remain unsure about what cloud computing is, how it works, and why it is so important for the future of education and the world of work. Therefore, it is crucial for students to be better prepared for the ever-evolving digital world, improve their digital literacy, and acquire relevant and practical knowledge through appropriate outreach on cloud computing. Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has driven the increasing use of digital devices among adolescents, particularly high school students. However, this high level of technology use is not matched by adequate digital security literacy, leaving students vulnerable to misuse of personal data, online fraud, and various other cyber threats. This Community Service activity, conducted at Sumpah Pemuda High School, aimed to increase students' understanding, awareness, and practical skills in maintaining digital security and protecting personal data through interactive outreach, case study discussions, and practical account security simulations. The methods used included material counseling, solving real-life cases related to cyber threats, and hands-on practice such as creating strong passwords, setting social media privacy settings, and activating two-factor authentication. Evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-tests, practical observations, and participant satisfaction questionnaires. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in students' knowledge of basic digital security concepts, changes in attitudes toward wiser and more responsible social media use, and their ability to independently implement account security measures. This activity contributes to fostering a culture of digital literacy within the school environment and fostering a younger generation that is more aware, critical, and resilient in the face of cyber risks. Furthermore, outputs such as modules, video documentation, published articles, and student commitment declarations are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the digital security ecosystem in schools. Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence has brought significant changes to the education sector; however, understanding and utilization within Islamic boarding schools still face challenges, including limited technological literacy and concerns regarding negative impacts of digital technology. This activity aims to disseminate knowledge about the impact of artificial intelligence and to enhance the understanding of educators and students regarding its potential application in the learning process at Pondok Pesantren Nafidatunnajah. The method employed includes interactive material delivery, discussions, and demonstrations of artificial intelligence applications to support adaptive, effective, and contextually relevant learning activities. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, its benefits in enhancing learning quality, and awareness of ethical considerations and usage limitations. Participants also demonstrated positive responses and interest in integrating this technology as a supporting learning medium while maintaining Islamic values and the unique character of the boarding school. In conclusion, the socialization of artificial intelligence serves as a strategic step in improving the quality of learning in Islamic boarding schools through appropriate, responsible, and competency-oriented technological utilization.   Keywords: Artificial Intelligence; AI Learning; Impact of AI Technology
