Abstract

In the era of globalization and the industrial revolution 4.0, technological developments have significantly influenced various aspects of life, including the education sector. Technology enables the creation of new learning methods that are more interactive, engaging, and accessible, including in non-formal education such as the Al-Qur’an Education Park (TPA). TPA At-Taqwa, located in Paradise Serpong City, serves approximately 40 students aged 4–12 years with only two teachers. To enhance the quality of Islamic education in this environment, a community service activity was conducted by lecturers from Universitas Pamulang, introducing the “Cerdas Cermat Muslim” application. This Android-based application offers Islamic educational content such as Akidah Akhlak, Fiqh, Islamic History, and Qur’an in an interactive quiz format tailored for children. Prior to implementation, the team conducted preliminary coordination, technical preparation, and application trials to ensure readiness. The three-day program included lectures, discussions, and hands-on practice. Participants were guided intensively by the facilitators in using the app’s features. The results demonstrated strong enthusiasm from the participants, who successfully operated the application independently and acknowledged its benefits in the learning process. About 98% of participants found the application helpful, and 84% expressed interest in installing it on their personal devices. These findings highlight the high potential of educational applications to improve Islamic learning outcomes in non-formal education settings. Moreover, this activity underlines the role of digital technology as a strategic tool to overcome conventional learning limitations.   Keywords: application; Islamic education; TPA; interactive learning; community service

Abstract

This Community Service Activity aims to improve the basic digital literacy of children at TPQ Miftahul Huda through the paper craft method as an educational medium for basic computer architecture. The activity participants numbered 25 children aged 7–12 years, who were accompanied by 1 TPQ teacher and 3 facilitators from the community service team. The implementation method is carried out in the form of a face-to-face workshop that includes short lectures, demonstrations, paper craft assembly practice, interactive discussions, and simple evaluations. Paper craft media is used to introduce computer components such as CPUs, monitors, keyboards, and mice in a concrete and fun way without using computer devices directly. The results of the activity show an increase in the percentage of children who are able to name at least three basic computer components from 32% before the activity to 84% after the activity. In addition to improving cognitive understanding, this activity also encourages active participation, creativity, and fine motor skills of children during the learning process. Thus, the paper craft method has proven effective as an alternative learning medium to improve children's basic digital literacy in non-formal educational environments with limited facilities, and has the potential for sustainable replication. Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, particularly Machine Learning, has had a significant impact on various aspects of daily life, especially in predictive systems used in digital services, education, and industry. However, the understanding of vocational high school (SMK) students regarding the basic concepts and applications of Machine Learning remains relatively limited. This condition causes students to function primarily as technology users without a clear understanding of the underlying processes and the benefits generated.Therefore, this community service activity aims to socialize and introduce the utilization of Machine Learning for predictive systems in everyday life to students of SMK Raflesia Depok. The methods employed in this activity include a preparation stage, interactive material delivery, demonstrations of simple Machine Learning applications, as well as discussion and question-and-answer sessions. The materials were presented using easy-to-understand language and supported by contextual examples to match the level of comprehension of vocational high school students. The results of the activity indicate an increase in students’ understanding, interest, and enthusiasm toward the basic concepts of Machine Learning and its applications in predictive systems. Through this activity, students are expected to develop better technological literacy, analytical thinking skills, and readiness to face the rapid development of digital technology and the demands of the future workforce.

Abstract

The digital era of 2025 necessitates a fundamental transformation in teacher competencies, shifting their role from mere information providers to technology-integrated learning facilitators. However, at the operational level, many educators continue to face challenges regarding efficiency and data security, characterized by a persistent reliance on physical transfer media, such as USB flash drives, which are inherently slow and susceptible to malware. This Community Service (PkM) initiative was conducted at SD Daarul Qur'an International with the objectives of:  augmenting teachers' conceptual understanding of computer networking foundations; and providing practical skills in wireless data sharing as a swift, secure, and efficient data transfer solution independent of internet connectivity. The program, held from October 17–19, 2025, engaged 30 teachers through an andragogical approach utilizing the Gradual Release of Responsibility framework ("I Do, We Do, You Do"), encompassing lectures, demonstrations, and guided practice. Evaluative outcomes based on the Kirkpatrick Model demonstrated significant success at Level 1 (Reaction) and Level 2 (Learning). Participants exhibited high levels of engagement (average satisfaction score of 4.85/5.0) and achieved mastery of the taught skills, with 96.7% of participants successfully performing autonomous wireless data transfers by the conclusion of the session. This success was driven by the high relevance of the material to daily pedagogical workflows and the effectiveness of a training methodology that fostered professional self-efficacy. This initiative successfully enhanced teacher workflow efficiency and mitigated cybersecurity risks within the school environment. Abstract

This training activity aims to introduce the basic concepts of programming logic to students at the Community Learning Center (PKBM) Seluas Cita Nusantara, Parung Panjang, through an interactive and enjoyable approach, namely using the visual programming platform Scratch. In the digital era, programming literacy has become a fundamental skill. However, its introduction is often considered difficult and abstract. This training addresses that challenge by utilizing Scratch, a tool that allows participants to create their own interactive stories, animations, and games by arranging blocks of code. The method used is hands-on learning, where participants are directly invited to design and develop simple projects. The main focus of the material is mastering basic concepts such as sequence, loop, conditional statements, and variables, which are important foundations in computational thinking. Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology requires senior high school students to possess digital literacy that is not only consumptive but also productive and applicable. One essential skill in this context is the ability to design a digital curriculum vitae as a professional self-representation medium that is informative and visually structured. This community service activity aimed to enhance the digital skills of students at SMA Sumpah Pemuda in designing digital curriculum vitae using Figma through practical digital training. The training method was implemented through hands-on activities, including an introduction to digital curriculum vitae concepts, information structuring, and independent visual design using Figma. The participants consisted of 27 twelfth-grade students from science and social studies streams. Data were collected through pretest and posttest assessments, practical evaluations, observations, and brief interviews. The results indicated a significant improvement in students’ understanding of digital curriculum vitae concepts and their ability to produce well-structured and visually appealing digital curriculum vitae suitable for professional use. In addition, the training contributed to increased student confidence and motivation in utilizing digital design technology productively. It can be concluded that digital curriculum vitae training using Figma is effective in improving digital literacy and design skills among senior high school students and can serve as a relevant model for community service programs supporting students’ readiness for higher education and the digital-based workforce. Abstract

ABSTRACT The selection of a college major is a crucial decision for high school students and often causes anxiety due to limited self understanding and lack of information about study programs. This community service activity aims to design and implement a web based expert system at SMAN 6 Kabupaten Tangerang to help students choose majors that match their interests, talents, and academic abilities. The implementation method includes needs analysis, system design using the Forward Chaining method, socialization, and training on system usage for students and guidance counseling teachers. The results show that the expert system is able to provide accurate recommendations based on user input. Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve participants' knowledge and skills in implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based digital marketing as an effective promotional strategy in the digital era. This training covers basic digital marketing concepts, an introduction to AI technology, and the application of various AI tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, Google Analytics, and ManyChat in content creation, data analysis, and customer service automation. Through interactive outreach methods, case studies of well-known brands such as Domino's Pizza, Shopee, and Spotify, and hands-on training, participants learned how AI improves the efficiency, personalization, and accuracy of digital marketing strategies. The training results demonstrated improved participant skills in creating creative content, automatically managing social media, and analyzing data-driven consumer behavior. Therefore, utilizing AI in digital marketing is a strategic step to strengthen competitiveness, promotional efficiency, and sustainable innovation among businesses and creative individuals.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity was carried out at Rainbow Kids Kindergarten as an effort to improve teacher competency in implementing interactive learning based on digital technology. The problem faced by partners was the limited use of interactive digital learning media, so the learning process was not optimal in increasing student engagement and motivation. The purpose of this activity was to provide training on the use of the Quizizz application to teachers as a fun interactive learning innovation that is appropriate to the characteristics of early childhood. The implementation method included socialization, material delivery, demonstration of application use, hands-on practice in creating interactive quizzes, and activity evaluation. The implementation results showed an increase in teacher understanding and skills in designing and implementing game-based learning. In addition, teachers became more creative and innovative in compiling interesting and participatory learning materials. This activity is expected to contribute to improving the quality of learning and supporting digital transformation in early childhood education environments.

Abstract

This community service activity was motivated by the low level of data literacy among senior high school students and the limited capacity of teachers to integrate data analysis into classroom learning, despite the growing demand for data processing and analytical skills in the digital era. The purpose of this program was to introduce the concept of a data analyst to students at an early stage through hands-on data analysis practice using the multiple linear regression method, to enhance teachers’ capacity in implementing data-based learning, and to encourage the use of school data to improve educational quality. The implementation method employed a training and mentoring approach in the form of a one-day workshop, which included the preparation of training modules and datasets, delivery of theoretical materials, demonstration of data processing software, group-based practical sessions, and evaluation through observation and questionnaires. The results indicated an improvement in students’ understanding of data analysis concepts and their technical skills in processing data, as reflected by the majority of participants being categorized as highly competent and proficient. The level of satisfaction among participants and the school was also high. In conclusion, data analysis training using the multiple linear regression method was effective in enhancing data literacy and analytical skills of senior high school students and is relevant for sustainable implementation in the school environment.
