Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) are one of the important pillars of the Indonesian economy. MSMEs play a significant role in creating jobs, increasing people's income, and supporting national economic growth. One form of UMKM that has quite potential and is very popular with the public is the banana chips business. The melted banana chips innovation is a development of traditional banana chips by adding melted chocolate sauce, providing a unique and interesting taste sensation. The research objective in analyzing the success factors of the banana chips business is to analyze the influence of internal and external factors on the success of developing the banana chips business using the SWOT matrix. And Analyze the appropriate and influential factors for BMC recommendations in developing the banana chips business. The research location was carried out in Pucangsari village, Purwodadi subdistrict using qualitative methods. Qualitative methods are research approaches that focus on collecting and analyzing non-numerical data, such as words, images, or objects, to understand concepts, opinions, or experiences. This research can use survey methods to collect data from banana chips business actors, in-depth interviews with industry stakeholders, and secondary data analysis from previous studies. Research results Based on the SWOT matrix, the influencing factor in developing the banana chips business is the product diversification strategy using strengths to face various threats. Improving product quality so that it can compete with similar products already circulating on the market (S1, T1, T3), Promoting product excellence to increase consumer buying interest (S3, S4, S5, T1, T2), Maintaining product price stability so that it is affordable and attractive increasing consumers (S2, T2), Establishing partnerships with banana farmers and traders to provide quality raw materials at stable prices (S1, S2, T4). The appropriate strategy in developing a banana chips business is to implement 9 BMC components starting from determining the value offered (value proposition) which has distinctive characteristics and product advantages, selecting the right consumer segment through market survey activities, implementing sales strategies and appropriate promotion to attract consumer buying interest (customer relationship), utilize resources (key resources) both human resources, capital and raw materials in accordance with business needs, carry out hygienic production activities (key activities) and maintain product quality, provide convenience for product can be distributed quickly to buyers (channel), calculate capital requirements correctly (cost structure), identify business partners (key partners) correctly and identify opportunities for revenue sources correctly (revenue stream).

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, data diolah dengan kebutuhan model yang digunakan. Sumber data berasal dari wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan koesioner terbuka. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian yaitu sebanyak 362 jiwa, dengan penarikan sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin menjadi 31 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel independen berpengaruh terhadap variabel dependen hasil produksi usahatani di Desa Sambisirah Kecamatan Wonorejo Kabupaten Pasuruan, dilihat pada hasil uji F menunjukkan nilai Fhitung 525,5 > Ftabel 0,00. Secara parsial luas lahan (X1), tenaga kerja (X2) dan benih (X3) berpengaruh signifikan dan berhubungan positif, sedangkan variabel pupuk (X4) tidak berpengaruh signifikan tapi berhubungan positif terhadap hasil panen petani. Variabel input yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi jagung yaitu luas lahan (X1) sebesar 2920,1 artinya jika ditambah luas lahan sebesar 1 ha maka akan meningkatkan hasil produksi sebesar 2920,1 Kg, tenaga kerja (X2) sebesar 17,8 artinya bahwa setiap penambahan HOK maka akan meningkatkan hasil produksi jagung sebesar 17,8 kg dan variabel benih (X3) sebesar 86,3 artinya bahwa setiap penambahan 1 Kg maka akan meningkatkan hasil produksinya sebesar 86,3 Kg. Sedangkan variabel pupuk (X4) tidak berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap hasil produksi (Y) dengan nilai sebesar 0,05 artinya bahwa setiap penambahan 1 kg maka akan menambah produksi sebesar 0,05 kg.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the interest of tourists visiting the tourist destination of Sendang Sumber Segaran. The random sampling technique was used for the selection of the sample of this study with the sample to be studied was 50 visitors in the range of 40-60 weeks. The Cochran Q Test method was used as a method in this study. The findings from this study describe several factors that affect the interest of tourists who come to the Sendang Sumber Segaran tourist destination, namely there are 5 questions that affect the interest of tourists to visit, namely natural beauty (p1), natural tourist attractions (p2), excellent tourist service (p6), invited friends (p7), being able to take pictures (p10). There are the most dominant factors of several factors, namely the highest score in answering YES in influencing tourists' interest in visiting. Not only is this destination an ideal choice for family vacations thanks to its spacious seating facilities, but it also provides educational experiences such as feeding and bathing goats, making it an attractive and varied tourist attraction for visitors, among others. This destination offers an amazing tourist experience with high tourism, featuring various forms of natural beauty, interesting ecosystems, and natural springs. Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries that has the potential to develop various products from horticultural crops. Of the various types of horticultural crops, there are several types of vegetables that are widely developed, one of which is shallots. The very long shallot marketing chain and the price difference at the level of marketing actors will have an impact on farmers' income. The purpose of writing this article is to determine the marketing efficiency of shallots in Dringu District, Probolinggo Regency. The marketing channel patterns discussed are marketing margins, market integration and price transmission elasticity. The results show that the marketing margin in the second channel (farmers to middlemen to out-of-town traders) is more efficient than the first marketing channel (farmers to retailers to final consumers). Onion marketing in Dringu Sub-district is included in the monopsony market, which is a form of market that has several sellers with only one buyer. From the results of the price transmission elasticity analysis, the elasticity value is 0.415, which is the value of the price transmission elasticity < 1 so it can be said that marketing is not efficient. Abstract

Bougainvillea plant propagation can be done in two ways, namely generatively and artificially vegetatively. The simplest and easiest artificial vegetative propagation is by stem cuttings. Plant propagation using the cutting system is a plant propagation that produces the same characteristics as its parent. The role of the right planting media will help plants to grow and form callus or potential roots. The composition of the plant media that contains sufficient nutrients and has high porosity is a suitable condition for this cutting system propagation. The purpose of this study was to: 1). determine the effect of planting media composition on the growth of bougainvillea plant cuttings; 2). Determine the effect of cutting length on the growth of bougainvillea seedlings; 3). Determine the interaction that occurs between the composition of the planting media and the length of the cuttings on the growth of bougainvillea seedlings. The experimental design methodology used a Complete Randomized Block Design factorial with factor 1 being the composition of the planting media consisting of 3 levels, namely K0 (soil); K1 (soil: compost = 1: 1); K2 (soil: compost: rice husk charcoal = 1: 1: 1). The second factor is P1 (cutting length 15 cm), P2 (cutting length 20 cm), P3 (cutting length 25 cm), P4 (cutting length 30 cm). The results of the study showed that the composition of the planting media had a significant effect on the parameters of shoot growth days, number and length of shoots, number of leaves and roots, root length and percentage of finished seedlings. The length of the cutting had a significant effect on the day of shoot emergence, number of shoots, number of leaves and roots and root length. The interaction showed a positive effect on the day of shoot emergence, number of leaves, root length and percentage of finished seedlings. Abstract

This study aims to identify the effects of liquid organic fertilizer derived from rice washing water (POC air cucian beras) and different planting media on the growth of Larat bigibbum var. schoederianum seedlings. Fertilizer application was done at Frekuensis of every 2 days, 4 days, and 6 days, using three types of planting media: moss, fern, and coconut husk. The study used a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with two factors: the first factor being the Frekuensi of POC air cucian beras application and the second factor being planting media. Various growth parameters such as plant height, leaf number, stem diameter, root length, and root number were monitored. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by DMRT 5% test to identify significant differences between treatments. The results of this study are expected to provide useful information on the optimal care for Larat bigibbum seedlings, particularly in terms of efficient POC air cucian beras application and appropriate media selection. The findings are also expected to reveal the best fertilizer application Frekuensi and the most suitable planting media to support the growth of Larat bigibbum seedlings. This research is significant for the development of environmentally friendly cultivation techniques and for improving the productivity of orchid cultivation in the future. Abstract

Indonesia's banana exports have increased in line with the increasing demand for fresh fruits in the international market. Data from BPS shows that in 1993 Indonesia's banana exports only reached 1300 tons, but in 1994, 1995 and 1996 there were 33 092 tons, 55 317 tons and 94 107 tons of bananas with a value of 5 821 934, 8 637 427 and 17 356 737 USD, respectively. . As a perishable commodity, Indonesia's banana exports are faced with technical constraints in post-harvest handling to anticipate transportation needs that allow the fruit to survive raw during transportation with maintained quality. This study aims to determine the changes in the physical properties of fresh Cavendish bananas due to low temperature storage. This study is a Factorial experiment prepared by a Complete Random Design (RAL) consisting of two factors. Factor I is Storage in Low Temperature (KD) i.e. KD1 (stored at 13 Each is repeated 3 times. The observations made during the study included three stages, namely: the raw materials before storage, after storage, and after the bananas reached a color score of 6 (ripening at room temperature). Observations are made after 35 days of storage. The results showed that there were changes in physical properties in weight loss, flesh/skin ratio and fruit hardness)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of salicylic acid in inhibiting the growth of Rhizoctonia solani in vitro and to determine the effect of salicylic acid in increasing rice plants' resistance to rice sheath blight disease. In the in vitro research stage, the antifungal activity of salicylic acid was assayed with 5 levels of concentration. The observed variable was the percentage of R. solani mycelium growth inhibition. The next stage of research was carried out in planta. The observed variables in the resistance assay were the pathosystem, growth, morphological, and physiological components. Based on the observed variables of pathosystem components, salicylic acid can reduce the intensity of rice sheath blight both in vitro and in planta. Based on observations of morphological and physiological components, the salicylic acid increased plant resistance by thickening the leaf epidermis and increasing the phenolic compounds.

Abstract

Shallots are an important part of cooking spices, both for household cooking, restaurants and the food industry. Apart from that, shallots can also be used as herbal medicine and shallots (Allium ascalonicum) are a seasonal horticultural plant that has high economic value. Bokashi fertilizer is an alternative for implementing organic agricultural technology that is environmentally friendly and sustainable. Bokashi has good prospects for being used as organic fertilizer because it has quite high nutrient content. This research used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) with 2 factors, namely 3 types of varieties (V) and 2 types of solid bokhasi (B) 1 control in 3 replication groups. If the F test results show a real effect, the analysis continues with the BNT test at the 5% level. The conclusions of this research are: 1. Types of varieties have a significant effect on the growth and yield of shallot plants (Allium ascalonicum L.) and this occurs in the parameters of plant height and number of leaves. 2. The type of bokashi has a significant effect on the growth and yield of shallot plants (Allium ascalonicum L.) and this occurs in the parameters of plant height and number of leaves. 3. The interaction of varieties and types of Bokashi has a real influence on the growth and yield of shallot plants (Allium ascalonicum L.), namely on V3B0 (tuk-tuk varieties and without bokashi), namely on plant height parameters and V1B0 (sanren varieties and without bokashi) namely on the parameter of the number of leaves resulting from tubers.Keywords: Types of Onion Varieties, and Types of Goat Solid Bokhasi and Chicken Solid Bokhasi

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the relationship between plant age and coffee productivity in Ledug sub-district, Prigen sub-district, Pasuruan regency, as well as a simple linear regression equation. The population of this research is coffee farmers in Ledug sub-district based on the number of Ledug coffee farmers which is 30 farmers for population problems in research that uses survey methods as data collection. The sample itself consisted of 30 people per farmer's tree. For the sample using the random sampling method. The analytical method used is a simple linear regression tool using Microsoft Word 2010 using a quantitative analysis model that analyzes the relationship between plant age and coffee productivity using the dependent variable Y and the independent variable X up to a and b constants. The research results show that the calculated t value 35 is >0.025 t table, so Ho is rejected, meaning there is an influence of plant age on productivity. So it is recommended that farmers harvest produce according to the age of the plants that are ready to harvest.
