Abstract

Inflammation plays a crucial role in the early stages of atherosclerosis, which can then trigger acute coronary syndrome. Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) is a potentially fatal condition. Therefore, accurate predictive tools are needed to estimate mortality risk, allowing for more appropriate patient management. One commonly used method is the GRACE (Global Registry of Acute Coronary Events) score. Several studies have shown that combining the GRACE score with clinical and laboratory parameters can improve the accuracy of mortality prediction in ACS patients. In this regard, an easily obtained and assessed inflammatory indicator. the Platelet-Lymphocyte Ratio (PRL), can be an effective tool. This study is observational analytics with a retrospective approach. This study included 98 patients with a diagnosis of ACS based on medical record data. Data analysis was performed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). P-value <0.05 was considered statistically significant. A chi-square statistical test was performed on mortality rate (p-value=<0.001). The same test was performed on the Grace score on mortality (p-value=<0.001). These findings indicate that both RPL and GRACE score can be used as effective prognostic indicators of mortality in patients with acute coronary syndrome.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of character building by teachers in Physical Education (Penjas) at Mamajang 2 Elementary School through the perspective of the sociology of physical education and sports. The research focuses on four core values: discipline, collaboration, sportsmanship, and responsibility. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results indicate that Physical Education teachers play a crucial role in instilling character values through habituation, role modeling, and social interaction during learning. Discipline is reflected in students' adherence to rules and timetables, collaboration emerges in teamwork, sportsmanship is evident in honesty and accepting defeat, and responsibility is evident in students' concern for assignments and the learning environment. However, obstacles remain in the form of low student awareness and motivation, where character values have not been fully ingrained intrinsically. From the perspective of the sociology of education, this indicates a suboptimal moral socialization process. The study concludes that physical education has great potential as a means of building social character if teachers can consistently act as role models and facilitators of moral values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of cyberbullying through the Instagram Story feature on the mental health of Generation Z students in Denpasar. The rapid advancement of technology and the increasing use of social media have significantly changed the patterns of communication and social interaction among young people. Instagram, as one of the most popular platforms among Gen Z, offers the Story feature that allows users to share daily activities quickly and openly. However, this convenience is often misused for negative actions such as ridicule, sarcasm, or the spread of harmful information. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by examining various relevant previous studies. The findings indicate that cyberbullying through Instagram Story can trigger psychological problems such as stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, and depression. Moreover, social pressure to appear perfect on social media exacerbates students’ mental health conditions. Nevertheless, Instagram also has positive potential when used wisely as a medium for self-expression, information sharing, and strengthening social connections. Therefore, increasing digital literacy, promoting ethical social media behavior, and encouraging the active role of universities and the government are essential to create a healthy and safe digital environment for the younger generation

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the school environment and physical activity on student solidarity from the perspective of social ecology in physical education at SDN Karya Baru. The focus of the research is to understand how the conditions of the school environment and students’ involvement in physical activities shape social behavior and solidarity among elementary school students. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with 12 informants consisting of students, a physical education teacher, and homeroom teachers. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Data analysis follows the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results show that (1) a supportive school environment plays an important role in fostering social solidarity; (2) physical activity serves as an effective medium for developing cooperation and empathy; (3) the social ecology perspective explains the reciprocal relationship between the environment and students’ solidarity behavior; and (4) teachers and school culture are key factors in internalizing values of togetherness. In conclusion, physical education not only functions to develop physical aspects but also serves as an essential medium for shaping students’ social character and solidarity.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the Muslim minority's perspective on religious differences in the SMAN 1 environment. The research method used is a phenomenological qualitative research method with semi-structured interview techniques and participant observation, the number of informants is two people, one man and one woman who were chosen purposively. Data analysis using the Miles & Huberman interactive model. The research results show five main themes: (1) ambivalent perceptions of diversity, (2) dynamics of interfaith interactions, (3) school support for religious activities, (4) variations in the role of teachers in building tolerance, and (5) expressions of religious identity that are not always accepted equally. These findings confirm that tolerance in schools is formed through social interaction, the role of teachers, and institutional culture. This research shows that students' experiences in interacting with religious diversity in schools are complex and influenced by social dynamics that occur in daily activities. Students generally understand that diversity is part of school life, but their perceptions and experiences vary, ranging from a sense of comfort and mutual respect to tension during discussions related to religion. These findings emphasize that tolerance is not formed automatically in a diverse environment, but is a process that requires institutional support, healthy social relations, and the role of teachers in socializing diversity.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the main health problems in the elderly with an increasing and often uncontrolled prevalence. This condition can trigger serious complications such as stroke, heart disease, and impaired function of other organs, so proper management is needed. In addition to pharmacological therapies, nonpharmacological interventions such as hydrotherapy and complementary herbs are beginning to be considered as alternatives to help lower blood pressure. This study aims to evaluate the therapeutic effect of soaking feet in warm water with ginger on changes in blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension. The study used a case report design with two elderly respondents with hypertension, conducted for seven consecutive days in September 2025. Blood pressure was measured before and after daily therapy, then analyzed descriptively in the form of individual blood pressure changes. The results showed a decrease in blood pressure in both respondents after the intervention. In the first responder, the initial systolic blood pressure of 178 mmHg changed to 160 mmHg on day 5, and diastolic blood pressure from 96 mmHg to 98 mmHg after the last day of intervention, with fluctuations decreasing after each therapy session. In the second respondent, the initial systolic blood pressure of 166 mmHg decreased to 152 mmHg on day 5, while diastolic pressure dropped from 101 mmHg to 98 mmHg. These results show that ginger warm water foot soaking therapy has the potential to have an effect in lowering blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension.

Abstract

Dwi Putra Tile Craftsman (PG. Dwi Putra) is a manufacturing industry in Klaten, Central Java, which produces three types of press tiles, namely mantili tiles, ordinary tiles, and kerpus. Recording the results of employees' work today is carried out manually, which often leads to inaccuracies in the data and hinders the calculation of salaries. Solving this problem requires a website-based employee monitoring system that can record, monitor, and report work results in real-time, and speed up salary calculations. This system aims to efficiently record employee work results, monitor productivity in real-time, provide accurate and structured work reports, automate the salary calculation process, and provide integrated and easily accessible data access. This system is built by using the Laravel Framework by implementing a Waterfall approach, and MySQL as a database. System testing is carried out with a Black Box approach and System Usability Scale (SUS). The results of the application of the Black Box method indicate that all system functions operate according to the expectations set by the researcher, resulting in a validity rate of 100%. The trial with SUS resulted in a grade of 82.5, which indicates that the system is functioning very well and has met the eligibility criteria.

Abstract

This study analyzes banking credit performance and credit risk in Indonesia before, during, and after the Covid-19 pandemic. The research applies a descriptive analytical method using secondary data obtained from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), focusing on commercial banks. Before Covid-19, banking credit was in a stable condition, with normal lending and credit growth exceeding the growth of third-party funds (DPK). This indicates that banks were active in distributing credit supported by sufficient funding. When Covid-19 occurred, economic performance declined significantly, and credit distribution contracted. For three consecutive quarters, both economic growth and credit growth recorded negative figures as banks became more cautious due to shrinking business activities and rising uncertainty. In the post-pandemic period, spanning nine quarters up to Q4 2024, the banking sector showed strong recovery aligned with economic improvement. Credit growth increased sharply and was noticeably higher than DPK growth, demonstrating restored confidence and better financial intermediation capacity. Regarding credit risk, banks managed non-performing loans (NPL) effectively both before and after Covid-19, maintaining NPL ratios below the 5 percent regulatory threshold. During Covid-19, banks strengthened reserves through increased allowance for impairment losses (CKPN) to keep NPL stable, although this temporarily reduced profitability as reflected in lower return on assets (ROA). Overall, Indonesian banks showed resilience through prudent risk management.

Abstract

Surabaya is a metropolitan city with many major roads. Roads are essential infrastructures that are greatly needed. A roadway is one of the most important transportation facilities, as it connects one place to another. Therefore, the condition of a road segment greatly affects road performance. Pavement on roadways helps maintain the road in good and stable condition so that road users feel safe and comfortable when driving. However, various problems often occur, such as traffic congestion or vehicle buildup on certain road segments. One of the contributing factors is on-street parking. On-street parking along Kapasan Street, Surabaya, frequently causes congestion, preventing the road segment from functioning as intended. Kapasan Street in Surabaya is the object of this study. The purpose of this research is to analyze the traffic characteristics and the degree of saturation caused by on-street parking on Kapasan Street, Surabaya. The methods used include field surveys and direct observation. The study was carried out for one week with predetermined time intervals. Four surveyors were involved in data collection, and a traffic counter application was used to gather the data. The analysis results show that the highest traffic volume occurred on Monday, with a value of 13,387.95 pcu/hour. Traffic speed peaked on Sunday at 683.49 km/hour, the highest density occurred on Thursday with a value of 997 vehicles/hour, and the highest degree of saturation occurred on Friday with a value of 0.76. The conclusion from this analysis is that on-street parking significantly affects traffic characteristics.
