Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of accountability in the management of Village Allocation Funds (ADD) for the 2024 fiscal year in three villages in Pandeglang District—Cibaliung, Cimanggu, and Sukasari—in efforts to enhance village development. The study was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and analysis of official village documents and other supporting data. The findings indicate that the implementation of accountability in the three villages varies in effectiveness, influenced by the capacity of village officials, transparency mechanisms, and community participation. Sukasari Village shows the highest level of accountability due to strong community involvement and the use of digital information media, while Cibaliung Village is categorized as moderate, and Cimanggu Village faces challenges with documentation and limited budget publication. The use of ADD in Cibaliung and Cimanggu Villages is more focused on infrastructure development, while Sukasari Village has directed its budget toward improving public services and community empowerment. The study concludes that accountability is a determining factor in the success of village development. Recommendations are made for village governments to improve the capacity of officials, expand digital budget publication, and encourage community participation as part of social oversight to strengthen village financial governance sustainably.

Abstract

Sport is not only understood as a physical activity, but also as a social phenomenon that influences interaction patterns, identity formation, and societal structures. This article aims to analyze the role of the sociology of sport in social life at the individual and group levels. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method through a literature review that examines various academic sources related to the social dynamics in sport practices. The results of the study indicate that at the individual level, sport plays a role in character formation, value socialization, and the development of social and emotional competencies such as discipline, cooperation, and sportsmanship. At the group and community level, sport functions as a medium for social cohesion, forming collective identity, and uniting multicultural societies. However, sport also reflects social inequality, commercialization, gender bias, and power relations as explained through Bourdieu's theoretical perspective. On the other hand, sport has transformative potential as an instrument of empowerment and social development when managed inclusively and equitably. Thus, a sociological understanding of sport is important in formulating sports policies and programs that can strengthen solidarity, foster individual character, and support social development.

Abstract

E-commerce platforms as a modern shopping lifestyle have become increasingly widespread as a result of developments in information technology in recent years. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Motivation, Product Completeness, and Cashback on Purchase Decisions in E-Commerce. The analytical method in this study uses primary quantitative data, and the testing stages conducted include validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, heteroscedasticity testing, multicollinearity testing, multiple regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The data used in this study were collected using a questionnaire instrument, and valid data were successfully obtained from 96 respondents. The sampling method used in this study is non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. The analytical tool used is SPSS version 25. Based on the research results, the classical assumption test results show that the regression model is normally distributed, with the obtained equation: Y = −0.483 + 0.407X₁ + 0.344X₂ + 0.505X₃ + e. The classical assumption test results indicate that the regression model is normally distributed, free from multicollinearity, and free from heteroscedasticity. In the partial (t) test, each variable—Consumer Motivation, Product Completeness, and Cashback—has an effect on Purchase Decisions in E-Commerce. In the F-test, all independent variables simultaneously influence purchase decisions. Based on the output results above, the adjusted R-square coefficient of determination is 0.593 or equal to 59.3%, and the remaining 40.7% is influenced by other variables outside those used in this study.

An This study details about gender-based hate speech analysis targeting the female gender inside a manifesto written by Elliot Rodger, a killer virgin who was responsible for a mass attack in Isla Vista, California, United States in 2014. This research is based on forensic lingusitics platform, and using a qualitative approach with a critical discourse analysis based on Norman Fairclough’s model, which uses ideological-based approach. This research uses the manifesto itself as the base data, with quotes with female hate speech being taken as samples. The manifesto itself contains several quotes from degrading allthe way to suggesting that women should be eradicated due to the shooter’s perception of them failing to provide romantic relationships whilst a more attrractive male get them instead. The results suggests that the hate speech found inside the manifesto is a representation of hatred that Rodger shown as a motive behind the mass attack. The analyzed quotes are also connected to the incel ideology, which is inherently patriarchal, or dominated by the male gender.

Abstract

Tutorials are widely employed in medical education as a form of problem-based learning, utilizing clinical cases to stimulate discussion. However, in practice, tutorial dynamics can influence the achievement of learning objectives. The integration of e-learning as a complementary media to face-to-face instruction offers a promising opportunity to optimize tutorial-based learning. This study aimed to assess medical students’ needs regarding the incorporation of e-learning in tutorial sessions. A mixed-methods approach was conducted, combining quantitative descriptive analysis with qualitative narrative inquiry. The study sample comprised 99 medical students from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Gunadarma (FKUG), who met the predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Quantitative data were collected through a tutorial evaluation questionnaire utilizing a Likert scale, while qualitative insights were gathered via focus group discussions (FGDs) to explore students’ specific e-learning requirements. Quantitative findings indicated that the tutorial learning process was rated as good to very good. Nevertheless, qualitative analysis revealed students’ desires for enhanced e-learning features, including chat rooms, feedback mechanisms, and video conferencing capabilities. These findings suggested that while current tutorial sessions function effectively, their efficacy could be further enhanced through the integration of e-learning applications. In conclusion, the development of e-learning tutorial platforms tailored to medical education is imperative to address students' evolving needs and to augment the tutorial learning experience.

Abstract

Financial system stability is a crucial element for the sustainability of the national economy. Imbalances in the financial sector, particularly those arising from credit growth that is not aligned with economic capacity, can lead to systemic risk. In response to these risks, Bank Indonesia has implemented macroprudential policies through instruments such as the Macroprudential Intermediation Ratio (RIM) and the Countercyclical Capital Buffer (CCyB). This study aims to analyze how RIM and CCyB contribute to maintaining financial system stability in Indonesia by utilizing national data from 2010 to 2024. Financial system stability is measured using the Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratio in the banking sector. The analytical method employed is time series regression using the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) approach, complemented by stationarity tests and classical assumption tests. The results indicate that RIM has a significant negative effect on NPL, while CCyB also exhibits a negative relationship, although with a lower level of significance. These findings suggest that synergy in macroprudential policies is essential to strengthen banking sector resilience and maintain the stability of Indonesia’s financial system.

Abstract

Supplier selection is a strategic decision in supply chain management as it directly affects product quality, operational efficiency, and delivery reliability. In manufacturing industries, carton packaging serves not only as product protection but also as a determinant of perceived quality and customer satisfaction. PT Toa Galva Industries has experienced inconsistencies in carton box quality, leading to disruptions in packaging and distribution processes. This issue highlights the need for a multi-criteria decision-making approach capable of capturing interdependencies among evaluation criteria. This study aims to develop a supplier evaluation and ranking framework for carton packaging using an integrated Analytic Network Process (ANP) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) approach. ANP is employed to determine the priority weights of criteria and subcriteria while considering their interrelationships, whereas TOPSIS is applied to rank suppliers based on their closeness to the ideal solution. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews with experienced procurement and production personnel. The results indicate that quality is the most influential criterion, followed by service, delivery, and cost, with quality consistency identified as the most critical subcriterion. The supplier ranking reveals that PT CTP achieves the highest preference value among the evaluated alternatives. These findings emphasize that quality stability outweighs cost considerations in carton packaging supplier selection. This study contributes practically by providing a structured and objective decision-making framework and academically by extending the application of ANP–TOPSIS in packaging supplier evaluation within manufacturing contexts.
