JPMI: Jurnal Pendidikan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah adalah jurnal pendidikan dasar dan pembelajaran yang dikelola oleh Prodi PGMI Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Islam Malang. Abstract

Quality education is the key to building competent people and producing good graduates. High and low quality of education in schools is not only determined by the teacher and his competence, but also determined by the strategy or efforts of the principal in carrying out his leadership. This study aims to determine the strategies used by the head of SDN 02 Argosuko Poncokusumo in improving the quality of education. The research approach used by researchers is a qualitative research approach. The main data source was obtained from the subjects in this study, namely the principal. Data collection techniques used are through observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis technique in this research is data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusions drawing. The results of this study are the strategies used by the head of SDN 02 Argosuko Poncokusumo to improve the quality of education there are 5, namely: increasing human resources, conducting supervision, holding coordination meetings, evaluating teaching and learning activities, and fostering teacher discipline. The obstacles experienced by school principals in implementing this strategy, namely: lack of teacher discipline and limited infrastructure.

Abstract

The implementation of physical distancing policy during the Covid-19 pandemic which later became the basis of the world of education to carry out learning activities from home by utilizing information technology suddenly, made teachers and students feel surprised including the parents of students. The purpose of this study is to describe the efforts of MI Miftahul Huda teachers in implementing online learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic period, to describe the applications used by MI Miftahul Huda teachers in implementing Online learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic period, and to describe the factors that support and inhibit in implementing online learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research was conducted with a qualitative method using data collection techniques consisting of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this researc are the efforts made by MI Miftahul Huda's teacher in implementing online learning during the Pandemic Covid-19 period using information technology and social media at home. The applications and media used by teachers are Whats App, Google Form, Learning Broadcast on TVRI, Zoom Cloud Meeting, and Dragon Learn. Factors that support the implementation of online learning are the availability of Android Mobile devices for most guardians of students and there is ease of communication between teachers and parents about student learning activities at home by using the WhatsApp group. While the inhibiting factors include undisciplined in terms of time and the role of education tends to be more to parents and teachers only as facilitators. Keyword: Teacher efforts, online learning

Abstract

What is the Investigation? How to cultivate religious character? The cultivation of religious character is the stage of inculcating moral or religious values so that they become habits. The problem that often arises in the world of education today is the problem of the character of the students that can be seen in their behavior. Lately, there are many students who commit violence against their friends, both physically and mentally, the way they talk and behave with someone who is still missing can be the cause of the decline in character education. One way to overcome these problems is to instill character education values in students. Faced with this reality, MI Almaarif 02 Singosari carried out various Islamic activities to inculcate the religious character of the students. This research was carried out using descriptive qualitative research. Data were collected by observation, interviews and documentation. Then, data analysis techniques carried out include data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions.

Abstract

This study was to observe the application of the role playing method to improve social studies achievement of fifth grade students at MI Bustanul Ulum Batu City in February 2020. The researcher used a descriptive qualitative method. The class observed in this study was fifth grade students. Observations were made for 3 days to see the condition of the class during social studies and student learning outcomes after using the role playing method and before using the role playing method. this can be proven by the application of the role playing method which is still very minimal used by the teacher. The lack of application of the role playing method is caused by the lack of creative teacher in developing the application of the method sometimes so that it can be concluded based on the results of the study that the application of the role playing method is very influential on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at MI Bustanul Ulum Batu City in February 2020.

Abstract

AbstrakThe research conducted by the author aims to describe: 1) Teacher's efforts in forming the value of the religious character of students in MI Bustanul Ulum Batu city, 2) Process in forming the value of the religious character of students in MI Bustanul Ulum Batu city. This study uses a type of qualitative research by seeking information from the head of the madrasa, student affairs, and also several teachers. This study also uses data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation, the data are analyzed through several steps, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The technique of checking the validity of data is done through data sources and methods of extending attendance, data triangulation, and peer discussions. This study shows that the formation of the value of the religious character of students is carried out and formed through routine habituation from morning to completion of learning. The elements of the formation of religious charismatic values are trust, worship, religious experience, good attitude, and responsibility for what is done. Therefore, the authors conclude that the efforts and processes carried out through routine habituation every day will be able to form the expected value of the religious character of the students. Keyword: formation, character value, religious

Abstract

Islamic values are values based on Islamic provisions. Instilling Islamic values in students is expected to become better individuals by having good morals, so that they can become useful role models for others and their environment. Aspects of Islamic values consist of 3 things, namely the value of aqidah, moral values, and worship values. This study discusses the process of instilling Islamic values in accordance with school culture, the efforts made in the process of instilling Islamic values, and also the factors that influence the inculcation of Islamic values according to school culture at MI Raden Fatah Sukun. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. From the results of this study indicate that: The school at MI Raden Fatah Sukun can be said to be quite good. this can be seen in terms of attitudes, worship and muamalah fellow students. The culture at MI Raden Fatah is reading prayers before lessons, reading 3 letters before lessons, praying the midday prayer in congregation, reading and writing the Qur'an (BTA), commemorating Islamic holidays, and jariyah. become a reference for schools to instill good Islamic values for students.Keyword: Islamic Values, Students, School Culture

Abstract

This research is based on research on the use of learning resources in thematic learning activities in class IV SDN Wonokerso II which is based on procurement, use, and constraints related to learning resources. In Wonokerso II Elementary School, the procurement of learning resources is still focused on purchases and donations, which causes a lack of variety of learning resources. The use of learning resources in class IV is also not optimal because the facilities for supporting the use of learning resources are not yet complete so that the teacher experiences obstacles in the learning activities carried out. The purpose of this research is to find out the problem and provide the best solution for students, teachers and schools to be even better. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive approach to data collection using observation / observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, data analysis and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are the use of learning resources in class IV SDN Wonokerso II is quite good and meets the current educational standards. However, it still has shortcomings that are expected to be corrected by teachers and schools.Keywords: Learning resources, class IV, SDN Wonokerso II

Abstract

In the world of education, it is not only educating students to know the material or knowledge, but also being educated so that good character is formed in students. There are several values of character education that must be instilled and developed in students, one which is the value of independent character education. This study aims to describe and analyze planning and implementation in the formation of independent characters through thematic learning, as well as the factors that influence the formation of independent characters. The approuch used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of case study research using 3 techniques in data collection, namely observation, interviews and documentation. Independent character education can be implemented through learning activities in the classroom, one of which can be done by teachers through the learning process, especially thematic learning. In the thematic learning there are many activities that shape the independent character of students, because one of the characteristics of thematic learning is student-centered so that students are required to be active in learning. Key word: character building, independent, thematic learning

Abstract

The study is aimed to know how to describe the implementation of visual media of picture series and describe the increasing of the result of students’ learning through the implementation of the visual media of picture series at students of second grade A of MI Attaraqqie Putra Malang. This study used classroom action research design. The steps of this study are planning, implementation, observation and reflrction. This siklus stopped if it has achieve the purpose of the study. The subject of this study was the students of second grade A of MI Attaraqqie Putra Malang, the students consist of 34 male students. The resultd of this study were the first, the implementation of the visual media of picture has done as well based on the steps the learning have arranged. The second is the implementation of visual media of picture can increase the result of students’ learning. Based on the conclusion, the research suggest that the teacher will be able to use visual media of picture as supporter of media at the course of Akidah Akhlak.Keywords: Image Based Media Visual, Student Learning Outcomes.
