Abstract

Financial bookkeeping is very important for every business. Financial bookkeeping produces financial statement that show profit or loss from the operational activities of a business. Small, micro and medium business in Bawak Village, Cawas District, Klaten Regency do not yet know and understand accounting. The problem was identified based on the interview during the observation stage. Based on these problems, the aim of this community service activity is to provide information and understanding about simple bookkeeping through a training activity. The methods used in this community service activity are 1) Observation,2)Training,3)Evaluation. This community service activity results in the owner business understanding the importance of financial recording and financial statement.

Abstract

Children with malnutrition or malnutrition tend to be vulnerable to disease and stunting. Providing nutrition or food intake to children must first be in accordance with the child's growth and development level, secondly it must be in accordance with economic and socio-cultural conditions, and thirdly its nutritional value must be balanced. The aim of this community partnership program is to increase the knowledge of parents who have children aged 4 to 6 years about what types of snacks are beneficial for the growth and development of early childhood. This activity consists of three stages. The first stage is preparation and pre-test, the second stage is providing education about healthy snacks, the third stage is post-test, analysis of increasing knowledge and reporting the results of activities. The results of the activity analysis indicate that there is an increase in parents' knowledge about healthy snacks after being provided with education. The implication of this community partnership program activity is that parents need to continuously obtain information from various sources about healthy snacks and continue to accompany and monitor the snacks consumed by children, so that optimal growth and development can be achieved.

Abstract

Lack of mastery and understanding of cooperative accounting is the root of the problems faced by Sumekar savings and loan cooperatives, these problems are the background to which training activities are carried out. The aim of this activity is to increase understanding and knowledge about cooperative accounting for cooperative administrators and members both conceptually and technically. The activity partner is the Sumekar Sanggrahan Pathuk Yogyakarta Savings and Loans Cooperative. The method used in this training activity is lecture and discussion. Implementation of this training activity provides benefits in increasing understanding and knowledge of financial accounting conceptually and technically and can then be implemented to support cooperative business activities. The evaluation results of training activities show that the level of absorption and understanding of the material presented is very good, this is evident from the results of the average evaluation score for training participants of 85.58. Considering the great benefits provided by training activities, similar training can be carried out in organizations or community groups such as MSMEs so that it can contribute to increasing their knowledge in managing finances more effectively and efficiently..

Abstract

This service was carried out with the aim of introducing the Old City's public spaces to new students. This service was carried out in Kendari City with the objects being public spaces in the old city. This service uses group discussion techniques with review and reflection methods on field findings. Apart from that, active and critical joint discussions were also held. Based on the results of this service, it can be seen that the old city has very high historical value and the old city is one of the most important factors in marking the growth and development of the city of Kendari as a port city, trading city and government city. The many public spaces that are part of the history of the city of Kendari to date can attract the attention of students to find out or study the history of the public spaces of the people around the old city of Kendari.

Abstract

The increasing burden of TB is caused by poverty, the failure of TB activities which has been caused by inadequate political commitment and funding, the unavailability of services in the community causing reduced problem innovation and inappropriate diagnosis, reduced supply of medicines and reduced reporting of tuberculosis sufferers, lack of surveillance, minimal discourse on recording and reporting cases, treatment management and unreported movement of people. The method used was descriptive observational with 20 participants who were families of tuberculosis sufferers at the Serdang Bedagai health center. The PkM team provided the material in question: 1) Understanding family persistence, 2) The importance of family in accompanying TB sufferers, 3) How to prevent transmission, and 4) Patient compliance in taking medication. Results after carrying out the activity 1) Understanding family persistence, the majority of them were good, 18 people, 2) The importance of families accompanying TB sufferers, the majority of them were good, 19 people, 3) Ways to prevent transmission, the majority were good, 19 people, 4) Compliance with patients in taking medication, the majority were good, 19 person. The persistence of family assistance to sick family members as a means of preventing the transmission of mycobacterium tuberculosis shows improvement and skills because people have a great desire to treat and prevent the occurrence of tuberculosis in family members at home.

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to explore legal awareness and students' acceptance of various existing Islamic boarding school regulations. Awareness is a pattern of assessment of existing Islamic boarding school laws or regulations, including the regulations desired by all students as one of the actors in these regulations. With high legal awareness, the level of student violations should decrease. In this research, the sample data that will be used is a number of students who are registered or have been registered on the list of student offenders and several students who have never or have a very low level of violation. Then, the type of research used in this case is qualitative descriptive research. The theory used is the theory of legal consciousness, legal system and collective consciousness.

Abstract

Community service is a tangible manifestation of a spirit of caring for others. In the context of special needs education, the State Special School in Banjarbaru City faces several challenges, especially in the assessment process of special needs children. Limitations in human resources in terms of teaching staff and technology, as well as conventional assessment methods, are the main obstacles. The solution came in the form of the Special Needs Children Assessment Application called APBAKUS in 2018. Community service through training and socialization of APBAKUS usage in 2019 encouraged the application's utilization. The results of the community service were highly positive, evident in increased efficiency in assessment timing, more coordinated data management, and the improved capabilities of teachers in overcoming obstacles. The APBAKUS application played a crucial role in enhancing the quality of educational services at the State Special School in Banjarbaru City, enabling teachers to provide better services tailored to the needs of special needs children. Thus, community service reflects the spirit of assisting and improving the quality of education for children who require special attention within the community.

Abstract

The aim of this community service is to provide training on Service Excellence to entrepreneurial mothers in RT.08 RW.19 to increase their understanding of the challenges, skills and competencies needed to succeed in service. Customer service requires speed, awareness about e-commerce with technology support to face increasingly difficult challenges. Good service improves business reputation. This training will discuss how to improve participants' skills for reliable customer service. Initial observations made showed that most of the women on Rt.08 Rw.19 were entrepreneurs by opening stalls or shops but providing minimal service to customers. This makes the business less developed because customers buy products because they need it, not because there is something more to the business of these entrepreneurial women. This lack of knowledge about providing excellent service to customers made the team want to help find solutions for developing the business of entrepreneurial women RT.08 Rw.19 through Excellent Service Training. The process is that these entrepreneurial women gather in the RT.08 hall and provide material on understanding and practice about Excellent Service in the form of lectures, stories and games as well as joint discussions. It is hoped that the service team for these entrepreneurial mothers will be able to understand the results of the training. By increasing their understanding of Service Excellent, they can improve the abilities of these entrepreneurial mothers to be even better at serving customers, so that they can increase their sales turnover.

Abstract

Cash management training is provided for business owners in the Kandang Limun Village, Muara Bangkahulu Sub-district, Bengkulu City. This activity is carried out to foster a spirit of productivity in running their businesses. It also serves as an opportunity to prevent loss of income and business opportunities that they have had so far. The business community in Kandang Limun Village, Muara Bangkahulu Sub-district, Bengkulu City, has a strong desire to improve their businesses, both in terms of funding and basic family needs. However, their desires are not accompanied by the ability to manage their finances. In order to realize organized and optimal cash utilization, cash management training is provided for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Kandang Limun Village, Muara Bangkahulu Sub-district, Bengkulu City. Through this service activity, MSME entrepreneurs are equipped with knowledge and procedures for cash management. With the skills and abilities acquired, entrepreneurs can enhance productivity in their businesses. This service activity is conducted through lecture/demonstration and discussion (question and answer) methods. The training aims to stimulate responses from business players. The cash management training activity will be implemented with intensive mentoring and active involvement from the academic community of Bengkulu University.

Abstract

The main problem in literacy faced by SD Pusaka Rakyat 02 is the absence of library space and limited reading books owned by the school. The purpose of this activity is to provide digital library management assistance to strengthen literacy and overcome the absence of physical library space. The methods used in this activity include interviews, observations, discussions, presentations, questions and answers, and simulations. The result of this activity is that the teachers can manage the digital library well and gain experience in literacy, especially digital literacy. In addition, digital libraries can also support the learning process in the classroom, motivate students to read a variety of books, and support literacy activities in elementary schools.
