Cancer is still one of the health problems around the world. Cancer is an uncontrolled (abnormal) cell division and can invade surrounding tissues and can also spread to other parts of the body through the blood and lymphatic system known as metastasis. This disease is often diagnosed in men aged 50-80 years with an average age of 73 years. Bladder cancer is divided into transitional cell carcinoma (95%), squamous cell carcinoma (3%), adenocarcinoma (2%), and less than 1% small cell tumors (paraneoplastic syndrome). Risk factors for this disease are smoking, exposure to carcinogenic substances, drugs, infection with the parasite Schistosoma haematobium, chronic irritation (stone disease), physical trauma (in the uroepithelial layer), infectious diseases and those that have not been proven to be the cause are coffee, alcohol, saccharin and cyclamate sweeteners. The prognosis of the disease depends on histologic examination to see the stage of the disease and by tissue biopsy. Methods: This paper is based on a literature search of clinical practice guidelines, scientific literature, websites, and textbooks on the topic of bladder cancer. Results and Discussion: Hematuria is the main clinical symptom in addition to other symptoms as a complaint of bladder cancer. The disease is divided into non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) and muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC). Non-invasive and invasive cancer conditions play an important role in the treatment and prognosis of the disease. MIBC is a disease condition with high morbidity and mortality. Conclusion: Cystoscopy followed by biopsy resection is the diagnostic standard followed by anatomic pathology examination (histology and cytology) for definitive diagnosis of the disease. The prognosis will be better if the disease is still at superficial and non-invasive stage (Ta), so that only transurethral tumor resection followed by chemotherapy drugs, intravesical and results will be more satisfactory.

The problem of malnutrition is still the main problem faced in human resource development. The problem of growth and development of Baduta is a serious problem because at this age the process of physical and intellectual growth and development is critical. Malnutrition problems mostly occur in poor families but are not caused by poor families who have well-nourished children. The Belawan Community Health Center working area is one of the community health centers with the highest number of cases of malnutrition in Medan City. To overcome this, a program is needed that is believed to be effective and sustainable. One of the existing programs to overcome the problem of malnutrition and malnutrition is positive deviation. This research aims to identify positive behavior in feeding (type of food, processing of food ingredients, mealtimes and method of feeding) of toddlers who are well-nourished in poor fishing families in the Belawan Community Health Center Working Area in 2022. This research method is qualitative research with a narrative approach. Researchers studied individual lives by asking one or several individuals to tell stories about their lives related to positive behavior in feeding well-nourished animals. This information is then retold by the researcher in a narrative chronology. The findings of this research indicate that addressing nutritional challenges in children can be effectively achieved by leveraging the potential and resources within the community. This is done through the identification of positive deviant behaviors, particularly those related to beneficial feeding practices. These practices encompass aspects such as the types of food provided, the methods of food preparation, the timing of meals, and the approach to food administration. Keep up the great work! The way you’re thinking about integrating community strengths is spot-on for creating sustainable solutions.

Good sleep quality in congestive heart failure (CHF) patients helps repair heart muscle cells. Sleep hygiene is one of the non-pharmacological interventions to overcome sleep disorders. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of sleep hygiene on sleep quality in CHF patients. A Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) with two groups was taken using probability sampling with block random sampling method. Sleep quality was measured using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and sleep habits using the Sleep Hygiene Index (SHI). Outputs were measured based on the change in the mean between the measurement time using the paired t-test and the difference in the mean between groups using the independent t-test. A total of 30 respondents were involved in this study. The intervention group showed a significant improvement in sleep quality after sleep hygiene therapy with a mean difference (MD) of 4.20 (SE=0.70; p-value=<0.01). Sleep quality between the two groups showed a significantly greater difference in the intervention group than in the control group (MD=-2.13, SE=1.00, p-value=0.04, effect size (Cohens'd)=-0.77). Sleep hygiene is a non-pharmacological intervention that effectively improves sleep quality in patients with CHF.
