Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview and explain more clearly about interactive games as a learning medium in Early Childhood. This study uses a literature review research method, which is a research approach that involves the collection, analysis, and synthesis of various literature sources relevant to a particular topic. Applying the method by conducting an in-depth literature review to uncover interactive games as a learning medium in early childhood. The data used was obtained from various sources such as scientific articles, journals, and relevant books, which were accessed through the Google Scholar platform. The analysis was carried out by reviewing and interpreting the results of previous research on interactive games in the context of education. This method focuses on an in-depth exploration of how interactive games can form an optimal learning environment to hone thinking skills in early childhood. The results that have been done in four article manuscripts containing interactive games as a learning medium, the essence of the content of the four articles is really extraordinary because it clearly discusses the advantages and disadvantages of integral games in general as a learning medium. In particular, the difference lies in the explanation of the starting point, the importance of understanding or several stages that can be passed as a learning medium. Ultimately, however, it is up to readers, practitioners and researchers to carefully examine the characteristics of interactive games as a learning medium and make decisions about which interactive games should be chosen for the learning media process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the management of Islamic education based on the character based on the context of the development of Madrasas students. The main purpose of this study is to identify the management strategy that can be implemented in Madrasus in creating character characters, thanks to Islamian educational approaches. This study uses a method of reviewing the literature and analyzing various relevant reading sources, such as books, magazines, articles, and previous studies related to Islam education and character training management. Research results indicate that natural -based educational management can be implemented using three major pillars. First, integration into the learning process of the character learning program. Second, the role of Maras leaders in the supply of samples and politics management that supports the formation of personality. Third, when creating an environment that supports the development of student characters, it is to strengthen the sluggishness and cooperation between families and communities. Some of the challenges faced are the lack of trained human resources in character education and the lack of synergy between schools, parents and society. In conclusion, character-based management of Islamic madrasah education is very important to create a generation that is not only academically intelligent but also possesses noble character. For this reason, more comprehensive policies and closer cooperation between schools, parents and society are needed to implement personality education

Abstract

The managerial competence of school principals plays an important role in improving the quality of school administration services in the digital era. This is one of the keys to creating information technology (IT)-based school administration services. In other words, utilizing technology is mandatory in order to create a more efficient, transparent and integrated system. This research aims to exploit the managerial competence of school principals as leaders in educational units in preparing information technology-based educational strategic planning and implementing it in the school administration process. Researchers use a case study approach. This approach is one of the qualitative research paradigms. Data collection methods use observation, interviews and documentation methods. The research results show that (1) the managerial competence of school principals is an inseparable part of administrative governance which is supported by information technology so that schools can improve the quality of their education; (2) The existence of information technology-based school administration management has a positive impact on effective and transparent school management; (3) The school principal as a policy and decision maker in the management of school administration feels light and trusted because the results are based on data or based on information technology implemented in his school.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the concept of harmony from the pata dela of the Bajawa people and its implications for forming academic integrity in higher education. In Indonesia's higher education context, technological advancements and changes in teaching methods have increased the potential for academic dishonesty. Pata dela, which consists of ancestral teachings from the Bajawa people, contains moral values that can contribute to supporting academic integrity. Through a qualitative approach, this research explores how the values from pata dela can be integrated into the higher education curriculum to create a supportive learning environment for academic integrity. The research findings indicate that values like honesty, trust, fairness, respect, and responsibility embedded in pata dela can help prevent academic misconduct and foster a culture of integrity among students and faculty. The research results can be implemented in higher education as a preventive effort to prevent academic disintegrity through habituation based on local wisdom.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the difficulties experienced by junior high school students in solving mathematical problems, especially related to solving arithmetic and geometry problems. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects consisted of 50 grade VIII students at a junior high school in Delitua. Data was collected through problem-solving tests and in-depth interviews. The results of the study show that the main difficulties of students in solving mathematical problems are understanding basic concepts, choosing problem-solving strategies, and misinterpreting problems. This difficulty is generally caused by a lack of understanding of basic mathematical concepts and the limited ability of students to analyze problems systematically. This study suggests that teachers use more varied teaching methods, such as problem-based learning and the use of visual media, to help students overcome these difficulties.

Abstract

Affective domain assessment is one of the activities carried out by lecturers in order to measure and determine the achievement of learning objectives. The affective domain is related to the attitudes and behavior of students as educated people in interacting with lecturers, other students and their environment. Disharmony between lecturers and students in the lecture process is the problem that is the object of this research. This is concrete evidence of the application of the affective domain. The aim of this research is to find out and describe the extent of the positive contribution of the affective domain in online learning for undergraduate students in the digital era. This research includes qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection methods use observation, interviews and questionnaires. The number of samples in this research was 35. These samples were students from the Faculty of Economics in the first semester of the 2024 academic year. The results of the research showed that students from the Faculty of Economics Undergraduate Program preferred offline learning or face-to-face learning in class compared to online learning. Students experience a decrease in their caring values ​​for their lecturers because they do not receive direct touch or interaction through in-class (offline) learning.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the perception of teachers in MIN and MTs throughout Jembarana Regency related to digital transformation and inequality in access to education in Jembrana Regency. The selection of informant was carried out using a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of having taught for at least two years and being involved in the use of digital technology. Data were collected using semi-structured interview techniques, analysed and presented in a descriptive manner. The results of the study show that teachers see digital transformation as an important step in increasing learning relevance, flexibility, and interactivity. Technology is considered to enrich teaching methods and provide opportunities for students to learn independently through more varied digital media. However, inequality in access to technology, especially in terms of devices and internet connections, is a significant obstacle that hinders the involvement and learning outcomes of students who lack access. Teachers identified the need for policies and infrastructure development that support equal access to digital education as well as sustainable digital literacy training for teachers and students. This finding is expected to be used as a foundation for more responsive and inclusive policy-making to realize equitable digital education.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education can be done using various methods and approaches. Education units experience shortcomings and weaknesses in implementing quality improvement methods based on the results of analysis and facts that occur in the field. Therefore, appropriate strategic planning is needed by educational units. In other words, strategic planning in primary and secondary education units needs to be improved to realize better quality education. The aim of this research is to discover and describe the importance of strategic planning to improve the quality of school education using SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats). This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Research object at SDN Duri Kosambi 01. Data collection methods through interviews, observation and document analysis. The research results show that (1) SWOT analysis of the internal environment has more advantages (Strengths) than disadvantages (Weaknesses); (2) Opportunities are greater than risks in the SWOT analysis of the external environment; (3) Using SWOT analysis in strategic planning can improve the quality of education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the emotional development of group B during drum band activities at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 24 Gresik Kindergarten. This study used variables in the form of drumband learning in group B children, emotional development of group B children. Qualitative descriptive research respondents with case studies, observations, data analysis, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that in Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 24 Gresik Kindergarten in the emotional development of children during drumband learning, the researcher observed that during activities at the beginning of learning until the end of learning, practice habits were carried out once a week on Monday at 10.00 - 11.00 WIB, if it was close to the time for the drum band competition, the practice was held almost 3 times a week at a predetermined time school. In playing drumband, children's emotional development is a great opportunity in that development. With the right support, children not only enjoy drumband playing activities but also grow individual personalities that are more confident, disciplined, and able to manage the emotions of group B children well.

Abstract

In today's digital age, English language learning is growing, with various methods and approaches used to improve teaching effectiveness. One method that is gaining popularity is game-based learning, which utilizes game elements to create a more engaging and interactive learning atmosphere. Therefore, The purpose of the problem formulation regarding the experience of using Google Quizizz in English language learning is to explore its impact on grade 6 students' comprehension of the material, motivation, and enthusiasm for learning. It is important to understand students' perceptions of this technology-based learning method. Google Quizizz is implemented as an interactive learning tool where teachers create quizzes according to teaching materials. Students take the quiz in a competitive and fun atmosphere, stimulating their spirit to try better. After the quiz, the teacher analyzes the results to provide feedback and to see areas of understanding that need improvement. Student responses to using Google Quizizz are generally positive; many feel more motivated to learn English. The game element in the quiz makes the learning experience more interesting and less boring. In this way, students actively participate in the learning process, creating a dynamic classroom atmosphere. Overall, the implementation of Google Quizizz positively impacted students' motivation and passion for learning. With good preparation and implementation, this application can be an effective tool for educators to create an interactive learning environment. This research is expected to provide recommendations for educators to continue integrating technology in education to improve the quality of learning in Indonesia. One widely used platform in this context is Google Quizizz, which allows teachers to create interactive quizzes that students can access online. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with 29 students as participants. The instruments used were observation, interview, and literature study. The results showed that using Google Quizizz game-based learning can increase learning motivation and understanding of English materials.
