Abstract

Managing incoming and outgoing mail is a crucial part of administrative activities in higher education institutions, including STMIK Neumann Indonesia. Currently, the process of recording and archiving mail is still done manually, which can potentially cause various problems such as delays in processing mail, lost documents, and difficulties in searching archives. To address these issues, a computerized and integrated Incoming and Outgoing Mail Management Information System application was developed. This application is designed with a web-based approach using the PHP programming language and a MySQL database. The main features developed include managing incoming and outgoing mail, agency data, mail classification, user management, and mail reports. This system is also equipped with an access rights-based login function to maintain data security. Test results show that the application can help administrative processes be faster, more efficient, and well-documented. By implementing this information system, STMIK Neumann Indonesia can improve the effectiveness of administrative services, accelerate the flow of mail disposition, and create a structured and modern digital archiving system.

Abstract

Electronic voting (e-voting) systems have emerged as a critical research topic in the fields of information security and modern election technology. However, various studies have shown that e-voting systems still face several vulnerabilities, particularly in security aspects. One prominent weakness often highlighted is the direct involvement of voters in cryptographic technical processes, such as unblinding, which may lead to negligence and technical errors. This aligns with Bartjan Wattel’s assertion that "The real security challenge lies in protecting business processes from authorized users with malicious intent or who act carelessly" indicating that threats to security do not only originate from external intruders, but often from legitimate users with access rights. This study proposes a solution to minimize the voter’s technical involvement by implementing a Blind Digital Signature protocol based on the RSA algorithm, wherein the entire cryptographic process including blinding, signing, and unblinding is carried out by the system and authorized entities. The goal of the study is to develop an e-voting protocol that reduces voter participation in system security processes (frictionless), and to measure the security level of the implemented protocol. The results show that reducing the voter’s technical role in the cryptographic process enhances security and minimizes errors, as the blinding to unblinding stages are controlled by the system. Moreover, the protocol is modified to include digital signatures during access requests in inter-party communications, preventing forgery and ensuring that only authorized entities can participate in the system.

Abstract

Mahasiswa kerap menghadapi gaya hidup pasif akibat tekanan akademik dan kurangnya kesadaran terhadap pentingnya aktivitas fisik. Padahal, kebugaran fisik berperan penting dalam mendukung kesehatan mental dan prestasi akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem pemantauan kebugaran berbasis website yang sesuai kebutuhan mahasiswa dengan pendekatan Lean UX. Penelitian dilakukan melalui tahapan Lean UX meliputi: observasi dan wawancara, declare assumptions, pembuatan MVP (site map, wireframe, dan prototype), eksperimen internal, serta usability testing menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS). Prototype sistem yang dikembangkan menampilkan fitur utama berupa program latihan 7 hari, pelacakan denyut nadi, BMI, dan estimasi VO₂Max, serta tampilan antarmuka yang minimalis. Hasil usability testing dari 40 responden menunjukkan skor rata-rata SUS sebesar 82,2, yang termasuk kategori “Excellent”. Sistem pemantauan kebugaran berbasis website ini dinilai efektif, efisien, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan mahasiswa. Pendekatan Lean UX terbukti mampu menghasilkan solusi desain digital yang relevan dan berorientasi pada pengguna.

Abstract

Distribusi produk sparepart yang efektif dan efisien menjadi aspek penting dalam menjaga kelancaran operasional industri, khususnya di sektor pabrik kelapa sawit. PT. Aneka Teknindo Persada sebagai perusahaan penyedia sparepart menghadapi tantangan dalam manajemen distribusi produk yang memerlukan sistem yang terintegrasi dan terencana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun Sistem Informasi Manajemen Supply Chain guna mengoptimalkan proses distribusi produk sparepart. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah Design Science Research (DSR), yang terdiri dari enam tahapan: identifikasi masalah, pengusulan solusi, desain dan pengembangan, demonstrasi, evaluasi, dan komunikasi hasil. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem informasi berbasis web yang mampu meningkatkan akurasi pengelolaan data distribusi, mempercepat pengambilan keputusan, dan meminimalkan kesalahan dalam rantai pasok. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi strategis dalam mendukung efisiensi operasional perusahaan.

Abstract

Manual or disconnected management of employee attendance and payroll often leads to various issues, such as data inaccuracy, process delays, and lack of efficiency in attendance recording and salary calculation. PT. Buana Citra Internusa, as a growing company, requires an integrated system capable of handling employee administration quickly and accurately. This study aims to develop a web-based employee attendance system integrated with payroll using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. RAD was chosen because it accelerates the development process through iterative and collaborative stages between developers and end-users. The system is designed to support automatic daily attendance recording and integrate it with the payroll module based on attendance data, job positions, and working hours. Key features developed include user login, employee data management, attendance recording, working hour configuration, salary calculation, and payroll reporting. System testing was carried out using the black-box method to ensure all functions operate as expected. The development results show that the system significantly improves the efficiency of attendance and payroll management compared to previous methods. It also provides easier access, data transparency, and reduces the potential for human error. With this system, PT. Buana Citra Internusa can carry out employee administrative processes more effectively and in a more controlled manner

Abstract

Dunia pendidikan pada saat ini telah menerapkan Sistem informasi terutama untuk membantu proses belajar mengajar. Penerapan layanan Teknologi Informasi dapat membantu operasional layanan akademik dan kegiatan belajar mengajar, contoh penerapan TI di sekolah yaitu e-learning, dimana proses seperti belajar mengajar dan ujian dapat dilakukan dimana saja dengan memanfaat jaringan internet. Salah satu sekolah yang menggunakan e-learning sebagai layanan TI yaitu SMAN 21 Bandung. Sejak pelaksanaannya, sekolah belum melakukan evaluasi terhadap layanan e-learning dan sejauh mana tingkat implementasi e-learning secara sistematis dan terstruktur. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat kematangan dari e-learning di sekolah sebagai analisis sejauh mana kapabilitas layanan e-learning dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan agar layanan TI dapat ditingkatkan. Sebagai best practices, framework yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Information Technology Infrastructure. Library (ITIL) versi 3 dengan berfokus pada domain service operation dilengkapi Critical Success Factor (CSF). Dalam melakukan analisis tingkat kematangan layanan e-learning, penulis menyebarkan kuesioner ke 31 responden terdiri dari guru dan murid sebagai pengguna dari e-learning. Dari hasil sebaran kuesioner didapatkan bahwa tingkat kematangan e-learning secara keseluruhan bernilai 3.034 yang berarti berada pada level tiga yaitu defined. Sedangkan tingkat kematangan yang diharapkan sekolah ada di angka empat di level managed, GAP analisis bernilai 0.95. Beberapa rekomendasi diberikan oleh penulis kepada pihak sekolah dengan harapan dapat mencapai level yang diinginkan sesuai dengan kerangka ITIL dan CSF.

Abstract

This study explores the use of deep clustering methods to automatically group handwritten essay answer sheets based on their visual patterns. Feature extraction was performed using three backbone models: ResNet-50, Vision Transformer (ViT-base), and Tr-OCR. These features were then clustered using two unsupervised algorithms—K-means (with k=5) and HDBSCAN (with minimum cluster size = 10). To enhance clustering performance, a deep clustering approach was implemented by applying K-means iteratively to refine feature representations. Evaluation was conducted both quantitatively, using Silhouette Score, Davies-Bouldin Index, and Calinski- Harabasz Score, and qualitatively, through t-SNE visualizations and cluster content inspection. The ViT and Tr-OCR backbones outperformed CNN-based ResNet-50, achieving higher cluster cohesion and separation. Notably, the final clustering result using ViT with HDBSCAN reached a Silhouette Score of 0.772, Davies-Bouldin Index of 0.369, and Calinski-Harabasz Score of 408.006. The findings indicate that vision transformer-based models are more effective for unsupervised grouping of handwritten visual data. This approach can assist educators in accelerating and objectifying the grading process and may serve as a foundation for future automated essay evaluation systems integrating OCR and NLP techniques.

Abstract

This study aims to apply the National Institute of Justice framework in the digital forensic process for conversations retrieved from LINE and Telegram applications, as well as to explore the utilization of a Predictive Classification Model for automated text-based comment classification in cyberbullying cases. Cyberbullying is a growing form of digital crime, particularly on private and encrypted instant messaging platforms that are difficult to monitor. The research employs two machine learning algorithms within the PCM framework Complement Naive Bayes and Random Forest to detect potentially abusive comments. The forensic process follows several stages: Preparation, Evidence Assessment, Evidence Acquisition, Evidence Examination, and Documenting and Reporting, with a secure and forensically sound data extraction approach from both applications. Due to data limitations from LINE and Telegram, the classification analysis is conducted using an Instagram comment dataset that reflects the cyberbullying context. Evaluation results show that the Complement Naive Bayes model outperforms Random Forest, achieving an accuracy of 86% with balanced F1-scores, while Random Forest achieves 75% accuracy. These findings support the use of PCM as an effective aid for automatically identifying high-risk content on social media. The integration of digital forensics and artificial intelligence has significant potential to enhance the effectiveness of cyberbullying investigations. Abstract

The development of information technology is driving the transformation of promotional strategies in various fields, including the residential rental sector such as boarding houses. The purpose of this study is to design and build a web application that functions as a promotional medium for Kos Graha to expand its marketing reach and facilitate access to information for prospective tenants. The approach used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through field observations, structured interviews, and documentation studies. The system design was carried out based on user needs analysis, followed by the development of an HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP-based interface, and database management using MySQL. The implementation results show that the application is able to present boarding house information comprehensively, attractively, and easily accessible, and supports features such as photo galleries, facility descriptions, booking forms, and location map integration. Testing with five users showed a high level of satisfaction with the application's appearance and ease of navigation. Promotional reach increased significantly, as evidenced by the increasing number of prospective tenants who learned about the boarding house through the application and the increase in sales. This application also successfully overcomes the barriers of conventional promotions that are limited geographically and informationally. In conclusion, this web application is effective in expanding the promotional reach of Kos Graha while increasing communication efficiency and information access for prospective tenants.

Abstract

This paper presents a strategic information systems (IS) and information technology (IT) planning for a prominent national non-profit organization, hereafter referred to as XYZ Foundation , using the Ward & Peppard methodology. Facing rapid technological advancements and evolving operational landscapes, XYZ Foundation seeks to enhance its digital capabilities, improve service delivery, and strengthen donor trust. The study details a comprehensive analysis of the organization's internal and external business environments, as well as its current IS/IT landscape. Key findings reveal challenges in system integration, IT human resource capacity, and the absence of a long-term technology roadmap. Based on a thorough gap analysis, strategic recommendations include the development of an integrated digital portal, automation of donation processes through fintech integration, implementation of blockchain for transparency, migration to cloud infrastructure, and significant investment in IT human resource development and governance. The proposed strategic roadmap outlines a phased implementation plan from 2025 to 2029, aiming to foster internal efficiency, expand social outreach, and build a robust, future-ready digital foundation.
