Abstract

Pemetaan atau visualisasi dalam ilmu pengetahuan sangat penting mengingat dapat menggambarkan secara garis besar isi dari suatu literatur sehingga mempermudah pembacanya. Pemetaan atau visualisasi yang dilakukan penulis kali ini untuk melihat apakah kata kunci (keywords) yang muncul pada artikel Jurnal IQRA’ Tahun 2020-2022 sudah sesuai dengan kaidah atau perspektif bidang jurnalnya. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan analisis software bibliometrik yaitu Publish of Perish, Mendeley dan VOSviewer. Jumlah kutipan yang dihitung berdasarkan Google Scholar dalam rentang waktu 3 tahun tersebut adalah 51 artikel. Berdasarkan hasil data keywords di atas maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada 10 besar kata kunci yang telah dirangkum dari 149 keywords. Diantaranya yaitu, Perpustakaan, Pustakawan, Informasi, Tokoh Arsip, Literasi Informasi dan sebagainya. IQRA: Jurnal Perpustakaan dan Informasi adalah jurnal ilmiah di bidang Informasi, Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan. Berdasarkan penjelasan ini, maka keywords yang muncul telah sesuai dengan bidang artikel Jurnal IQRA’.

Abstract

The rapid technological advancements and the evolving needs of users, as well as the requirements of the parent institution, demand libraries to engage in development and innovation according to user preferences. One of the developments and innovations undertaken by libraries is the establishment of collections and services in digital formats. The Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing Library at Gadjah Mada University has built a digital collection and service by developing a website at the link http://infolib.med.ugm. The purpose of this article is to explain best practices employed by the library in developing the library website to support digital services. The website at htttp://infolib.med.ugm contains digital content as one solution to optimize services and meet the needs of academic communities and institutional bodies. The development of this website was initiated in 2005. The website is crucial for the academic community to support learning, research, and access accurate information. However, the website faced challenges and became inaccessible, leading to the creation of Website htttp://infolib.med.ugm release 2 in 2021. There are fundamental differences from the previous release in 2005. In Release 2, the available collection consists solely of digital materials, including books, scholarly works, journal articles, proceedings, and videos. This website proves highly valuable and beneficial in addressing the needs of users to support education, research, and community service.

Abstract

IPDN library has been providing college repository services since 2017 through eprints.ipdn.ac.id, but there has been no measurement related to the effectiveness of the utilization of the IPDN repository service. The purpose of this study is to obtain a general overview of the effectiveness of the use of University repositories in the IPDN Library Jatinangor campus. The study used qualitative methods with data collection through interviews to 15 informants, observation and documentation. The results showed that the IPDN Repositori is provided with the aim to provide convenience for users, especially IPDN lecturers in the storage and assessment of scientific work, but there are still server and network constraints at the time of its utilization. In addition, the IPDN Library has conducted socialization and assistance for users. However, monitoring activities related to the utilization of IPDN repository services are still minimal. In conclusion, the effective utilization of University repositories, especially in the Institute of domestic government (IPDN) is included in the sufficient category. As for the 4 (four) dimensions that become a measure of effectiveness, there is 1 (one) dimension that is still lacking in its application, namely the monitoring dimension, 2 (two) dimensions that are sufficient, namely the dimension of targeting and program goals, 1 (one) dimension that is good, namely the dimension of socialization.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe Instagram Live (IG Live) as socialization program at UGM Library during Covid-19 pandemic. One of the duties and functions of the library is to socialize library services which aims to provide library services information. Library services socialization at UGM Library is usually carried out through literacy or library education programs where users attend scheduled class. During the pandemic, social and physical distancing was in effect so that socialization was packaged using social media. One of the popular social media platforms used is IG Live. This article analyzed IG Live as a means of socialization of library services at UGM Library during the pandemic. A qualitative descriptive form with data collection techniques through observation, direct participation, and documentary study is used to describe the research phenomenon. The results show that the information conveyed includes: 1) health and safety; 2) facilities and services; 3) procedures of circulation service; 4) access of the collections; and 5) email/contact person of library services. The various interesting and interactive features in IG Live can be used as a consideration for using this facility to socialize library activities.

Abstract

The library and its patrons synergize to fulfill their respective functions and roles. At the forefront of information provision, the library has the task of providing information tailored to the needs of its patrons. This research aims to analyze the synergy the Unisa Yogyakarta Library conducted in meeting information needs through the "Paperbuk" program. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques are conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity test is performed through source triangulation, which involves cross-checking information from various sources using the employed techniques. Data analysis is done by data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicate that the combined library and book exhibition activities (Paperbuk) organized by the Unisa Yogyakarta Library positively impact the library and its patrons. Forms of patron synergy include patrons' choice of books according to their interests and needs, their special borrowing rights, and the library exhibition (posters), a source of pride for patrons. From the library's perspective, this activity serves as a promotional platform, aids in book selection and procurement, increases visits, and enhances patrons' reading interests.

Abstract

Developing digital library collections is essential in providing quality services to users. In this digital era, libraries must continue to consider the legal, ethical, and user needs implications associated with using digital resources. This research explores the basic theory of developing influential digital library collections to minimize possible obstacles. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature review. This research highlights that digital collection development requires ongoing efforts to ensure optimal relevance and availability of information for users. The research results show that various methods, such as direct procurement, collaboration, and digitalization, are used to increase the effectiveness of digital collection development in libraries. Librarians must consider appropriate collection development strategies to increase information accessibility and meet user needs in the digital era. Thus, the development of digital library collections plays an essential role in maintaining the relevance and quality of library services.

Abstract

Mobile phones have benefits for elementary school-age children. However, if they are used excessively, there are risks, including affecting children's emotional development and making it difficult for children to socialize. Based on the above phenomenon, TBM Teras Mburi created video-making training for elementary school-age children in the surrounding area. The aim is for elementary school-age children to have additional knowledge that cell phones can be used not only for playing games and social media but also to produce work in a fun way. The approach used in this best practice is descriptive qualitative, which tells the best experience in solving the problems faced related to the phenomenon of the rise of elementary school-age children who are addicted to using cell phones. The stages consist of pre-production, production, and post-production. The result is that this training can provide knowledge, motivation, and encouragement for elementary school-age children around TBM Teras Mburi to be more productive and carry out positive activities. As for the impact of this activity, firstly, there was a change in the participants' behavioral patterns in using cell phones, from passive consumers to active producers. Second, it increases children's insight into the creative video-making process. Third, there is less concern about the excessive use of cell phones, which negatively affects social interactions because friends must coordinate, communicate, and work together to make videos.

Abstract

Financial management in libraries can face various challenges. A librarian's job, apart from serving, is also to manage library finances. This study aims to observe research trends on financial management in libraries. This study uses secondary data from the Scopus website in the form of metadata. The sample data collected is around 132, saved in the form of a CSV file. Data that has been stored in CSV is analyzed using bibliometric methods. The bibliometric software used is Vosviewer and Biblioshiny. Vosviewer is used to analyze words frequently used in keywords as well as the affiliation of authors with the highest citations. Meanwhile, biblioshiny is used to analyze the total citations of authors as well as the number of articles on the topic of financial management in libraries in Scopus indexed journals. The results show that the keywords frequently used in previous studies discussing financial management in libraries are archive management and library materials. These two things must be taken into account based on the available library budget. The results above also show that the author's affiliation with the most citations is the United States/USA. The implication of this research is that it is hoped that it can become a reference for readers to refer to research published by United States academics because there are many experts who are competent in the field of financial management in libraries.

Abstract

Perpustakaan merupakan tempat belajar dan pusat ilmu pengetahuan dalam membangun masyarakat berpengetahuan (knowledge society) serta menciptakan program pemberdayaan masyarakat agar meningkatkan kesejahteraan sehingga dapat membentuk masyarakat yang pintar, cerdas, mandiri dan sejahtera. Pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui transformasi perpustakaan berbasis inklusi sosial perpustakaan berkomitmen meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat pengguna perpustakaan yang melibatkan kolaborasi profesional pustakawan dengan profesi lainnya. Untuk itu penelitian ini akan membahas praktek nyata kegiatan inklusi sosial perpustakaan di Kabupaten Gunungkidul bagaimana keterlibatan masyarakat terhadap kolaborasi pustakawan dan perangkat desa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat serta kolaborasi pustakawan dengan stakeholders dan impact dalam proses pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui perpustakaan berbasis inklusi sosial. Kegiatan ini berlangsung di beberapa perpustakaan desa di Kabupaten Gunung Kidul. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, dan studi kepustakaan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya kebermanfaatan yang berlangsung terhadap kolaborasi antara pustakawan, perangkat desa, dan masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

Stunting is a national health problem and has become an issue and concern for all parties. Stunting is chronic malnutrition characterized by a short body. Stunting sufferers are generally vulnerable to disease, have low intelligence levels, and have low productivity. The government's efforts to prevent stunting include making Presidential Regulation llllllll72 of 2021 concerning the acceleration of stunting reduction. Academic Health System (AHS) Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing (FK-KMK) Universitas Gadjah Mada participates in supporting the stunting reduction program. Stunting is one of the priority program themes of the Academic Health System. The purpose of writing this article is to explain the development of eLib FKKMK as an application to integrate stunting information sources to support the activities of the AHS FK-KMK UGM network. eLib FKKMK is a digital platform application containing a collection of books, audiobooks, and videos with stunting. eLib FKKMK can be accessed using the latest Android, PC, or iOS technology. Users within the AHS network can easily use eLib FKKMK—the addition of stunting content increases in the number of books, audiobooks, and videos. eLib FKKMK can provide a source of stunting information that can reduce stunting in the AHS FKKMK UGM network hospital. Socialization or promotion activities for library users at the AHS FK-KMK UGM network 7 hospitals should always be carried out so that many can use the eLib.
