Abstract

This study aims to reveal the form of the kiai's spiritual leadership values, as well as their relation to the competence to read and understand the yellow book of santri at the Mambaul Ulum Islamic boarding school, Pondok Wuluh Leces Probolinggo. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis by reducing data, presenting data, and verifying data. Checking the validity of the data using source triangulation techniques and triangulation techniques. Informants in this study were kiai, boarding school administrators, students, and guardians of students. The results showed that: 1) The form of the kiai's spiritual leadership values ​​included true honesty, justice, good deeds, discipline but still flexibility, and humility; 2) The relationship of the kiai's spiritual leadership with the competence to read and understand the yellow book of santri, namely the kiai as a leader at the Islamic boarding school has full responsibility in all pesantren programs, the kiai as a motivator who inspires students so that students have a disciplined character, are able to awaken the best in themselves, focus on the goal or have a strong desire, seek blessings, and riyaḍah.

Abstract

Learning resources are an important part of implementing the curriculum applied to an educational institution, this is because learning resources are able to foster enthusiasm and learning motivation for students and learning resources can help carry out learning activities optimally. The focus of this research is on 3 things, including the use of learning resources to support the implementation of the curriculum, a description of the success of implementing the curriculum as well as the constraints and alternatives. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection methods. To determine the validity of the data, the researchers used triangulation of methods and sources so that the degree of validity was higher. The results of this study indicate that optimizing the use of learning resources is very necessary for teachers to achieve curriculum goals, such as the use of messages in stories, teachers as knowledge transfer media, online learning platforms, learning media, learning methods, and learning environments both physically and psychologically. The result of this utilization is that students achieve academic and non-academic achievements. When experiencing obstacles, teachers will immediately take advantage of other sources that are relevant and easily accessible. Teachers are advised to always optimize learning resources so that they are always effective and efficient and always up to date.

Abstract

The quality of learning is determined by the quality of the teacher. The more competent teachers are, the more they can provide services to students well. Teacher competence can continue to be developed with academic supervision activities carried out by school principals. Therefore, school action research was conducted with the aim of improving the quality of learning. This research is School Action Research conducted at SMPN 7 Sampang. Collecting data by observation, interviews, documentation and tests. The results of the study show the quality of learning with indicators, namely: 1) the ability of teachers to prepare lesson plans, 2) the use of learning media, and 3) online teaching skills can be improved through academic supervision at SMPN 7 Sampang. This is evidenced in the first cycle of teacher competence in making lesson plans with a medium and high success rate of 64.29%, increasing to 85.71 in the second cycle. Competence using online media has a medium and high success rate of 71.43% in the first cycle increasing to 92.86% in the second cycle and online teaching competence with a medium and high success rate of 64.29% in the first cycle increasing to 85.71 in cycle II so that it is proven that academic supervision can improve the quality of learning at SMPN 7 Sampang

Abstract

The first step that parents take before entering their child into an educational institution is to choose the school of interest. To be able to attract the interest of the community, especially parents and prospective students in educational institutions, the school needs to make efforts to develop schools in order to maintain the image of the school in the community. Principals and teachers play an important role in this effort, especially the principal as a leader who carries out his leadership, namely regulating, managing all the resources of the educational institution he leads. Based on this, research was conducted at SMA Wachid Hasyim regarding the principal's efforts to build a positive image of educational institutions to attract public interest, with two focuses, namely: 1) What is the principal's strategy in building a positive image of educational institutions to attract public interest at SMA Wachid Hasyim Pamekasan; 2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for principals in building a positive image of educational institutions to attract public interest in Wachid Hasyim Pamekasan High School.

Abstract

The problems that are the main study in this research, namely: first, is there a relationship between the management of guidance and counseling services with the independent character of students: second, how big is the relationship between the management of guidance and counseling services and the independent character of students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive type. Sources of data were obtained through questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that: 1. The relationship between the management of guidance and counseling services and the independent character of students at MTS Miftahul Ulum Banyuayu Kadur Pamekasan. 2. The purpose of guidance and counseling services. 2. Values ​​that can build students' independent character. 4. Development program for independent character-based guidance and counseling services. 5. Independent character education in the management of guidance and counseling services. Fostering good relations between teachers and students, between teachers and guardians of students, between teachers and the community or the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Student organizations are forms and means of channeling ideas, creations and works that can support students. The results of the study show that: First; Each ORMAWA organizes RAKER, which will be programmed in its leadership period from short to long term, then the results of the mutually agreed upon RAKER are submitted in RAKERGAB, SENAT students hold RAKERGAB which is attended by all ORMAWA. The work plan program in the program does not deviate from the Bylaws, then the agreed upon results are carried out according to RAKERGAB. Supporting factors include: the existence of good service from the leadership to students to carry out their activities programs in improving student leadership behavior, the leadership provides opportunities for students to create and creativity as always willing and always accompany and provide direction and motivation to students. The inhibiting factors include: Limited land and facilities that are still inadequate, lack of places to carry out limited activities, and limited provision of stationery.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum emphasizes teachers to carry out authentic assessments. Authentic assessment is an assessment that is actually carried out on students. The implementation of this authentic assessment emphasizes the process rather than the results. It is very important for teachers to carry out authentic assessments in the classroom and outside the classroom to students in order to know the progress of student learning. This study aims to analyze the obstacles and solutions of Madrasah mathematics teachers in the implementation of authentic assessments. This research was conducted at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. This study involved 4 Madrasah mathematics teachers, hereinafter referred to as research subjects. Data or information related to obstacles and solutions for implementing authentic assessments were obtained through interviews. The results of this study include: Madrasah mathematics teachers encounter obstacles in planning, implementing, and reporting authentic assessments. These obstacles can be solved with solutions: increasing professional competence, participating in various pieces of training, playing an active role in teacher consultation activities both with one madrasa teacher and with outside madrasa teachers, being active in scientific meetings, and further studies such as through teacher professional education and masters degree.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has created intense competition in the world of education and has transformed the focus of education management from a simple way to serve the institutional education process, to a way to transform users of education services (user education) into customer education (customer education). Private educational institutions experienced a decrease in the number of students for the 2021-2022 school year due to the pandemic. The Covid-19 pandemic tested the marketing strategies of every educational institution. Schools that have the opportunity to survive are those that have strategies to create competitive and sustainable advantages. This research uses a qualitative approach with the design of case studies. The subjects of this study consisted of the Principal, Deputy Principal, teachers, administrative staff, parents of students and students. Data collection techniques include documentation studies, field observations and in-depth interviews. In this study to analyze data using Creswell's data analysis model. Partnership marketing strategies are considered the most appropriate to support school targets in acquiring new customers of educational services in the 2021/2022 school year. Abstract

Supervisi atau pengawasan dilaksanakan sebagai usaha dalam memastikan bahwa seluruh kegiatan berjalan sebagaimana mestinya sekaligus sebagai antisipasi ketika ada persoalan yang perlu ditindak lanjuti dengan serius. Dalam lembaga pendidikan sepervisi sebagai kontrol utama bagi kepala madrasah dalam memastikan kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar menyesuaikan dengan tujuan yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka dilakukan penelitian ke MA Az-Zubair Tlanakan Pamekasan tentang implementasi supervisi dalam meningkatkan kinerja tenaga kependidikan yang terdiri dari tiga fokus penelitian yaitu: 1) Bagaimana implementasi supervisi dalam meningkatkan kinerja tenaga kependidikan di MA Az-Zubair Tlanakan Pamekasan; 2) Faktor apa saja yang mendukung dan menghambat pelaksanaan supervisi kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kinerja tenaga kependidikan di MA Az-Zubair Tlanakan Pamekasan; 3) Bagaimana dampak atau implikasi supervisi kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kinerja tenaga kependidikan di MA Az-Zubair Tlanakan Pamekasan.
