Abstract

This study was designed to describe an appropriate parenting model for children in LPKA (Rehabilitation Center for Children). A grounded research approach was utilized and a sample of 15 to 18 year old children inmates amount 56 childrens was interviewed. It was found that family and religiosity concepts are important factors for the children. Parenting model for the children have to involve both religiosity and emotional attachment aspects. The results showed that a suitable parenting model was the concept of religiosity and familyhood. This is obtained through the fostering of religious aspects such as conducting prayer activities in congregation, learning to read Al-Quran, and religious lectures. While the concept of familyhood can be through personal interaction among students and with officers who can build emotional closeness.

Abstract

Abstract Emotional and social health are important things for students in schools. This study aims to determine how the role of psychological sense of school membership as a mediator variable how the perception of school climate affects social-emotional health among elementary school students. This study involved 132 students in grades 4 - 6 in Sleman and Yogyakarta, consisting of 84 male students and 48 female students with student ages ranging from 8 - 16 years. The research instruments used the Social Emotional Health Survey-Primary School Sclae (Furlong et al., 2013), The Psychological Sense of School Membership (PSSM) Scale (Goodenow, 1993), and the School Climate Survey: Elementary (La Salle, et al., 2016). Analysis of the data used the PROCESS analysis technique with the help of SPSS for windows version 25. The results of the hypothesis analysis showed that there was an effect of student perceptions on school climate and social-emotional health mediated by psychological sense of school membership in elementary school students in Sleman and Yogyakarta where the coefficient is 0.48 with p 0.00, so the hypothesis is accepted. This shows that psychological sense of school membership can be a mediator on the influence of students' perceptions of the school climate and social-emotional health  Abstrak Kesehatan emosi dan sosial merupakan hal yang penting bagi siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran psychological sense of school membership sebagai variabel mediator bagaimana pengaruh persepsi terhadap school climate terhadap social-emotional health pada siswa sekolah dasar di Sleman dan Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini melibatkan 132 siswa kelas 4 - 6, terdiri dari 84 siswa laki-laki dan 48 siswa perempuan dengan usia siswa berkisar dari 8 – 16 tahun. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Social Emotional Health Survey-Primary School Sclae (Furlong dkk., 2013), The Psychological Sense of School Membership (PSSM) Scale (Goodenow, 1993), dan School Climate Survey: Elementary (La Salle, dkk., 2016). Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis PROCESS dengan bantuan SPSS for windows versi 25. Hasil analisis hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh persepsi siswa terhadap school climate dan social-emotional health yang dimediasi psychological sense of school membership pada siswa sekolah dasar di Sleman dan Yogyakarta dimana koefisien yaitu 0.48 dengan p 0.00, sehingga hipotesis diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa psychological sense of school membership dapat menjadi mediator pada pengaruh persepsi siswa terhadap school climate dan social-emotional health.

Abstract

The concept of Christian-Western religious practice maybe different to the Islamic religious practice of Moslems. Therefore, explores the dimensions of Daily Religious Practices of Moslems (Praktik Religius Harian Muslim) (Herlina et al., 2015) consisting of 10 items that proven able to predict juvenile delinquency is important to do. This measure was assumed to be unidimensional because is just intended to measure dimensions of religious practice. Principal Component Analysis is used to find dimensions or factors of this measure. The participants were 643 students of two public high schools, one private high school, one private Islamic High School, and one Islamic boarding high school. There were two practical dimensions that found in this PRHM scale, Obligatory Practice and Sunnah Practice. These results give different concept from Western religious theory which emphasizes public and private practices. Although Moslems practices can be private and public but the practices of Indonesian Moslems teenagers were patterned to two of this dimensions.AbstrakKonsep religiusitas Barat yang berbasis Kristen mungkin saja akan berbeda dengan religiusitas Indonesia yang berdasarkan Islam. Untuk itu mengekplorasi dimensi dalam alat ukur Praktik Religius Harian Muslim (PRHM) (Herlina dkk., 2015) yang terdiri dari 10 item dan yang terbukti mampu memprediksi kenakalan remaja ini penting untuk dilakukan. Metode Principal Component Analysis digunakan untuk menemukan dimensi atau faktor yang ada dalam alat ukur ini. Partisipan yang terlibat berjumlah 643 siswa dari dua SMA Negeri, satu SMA swasta umum, satu SMA Islam, dan satu SMA Islamboarding school atau pesantren. Ada dua dimensi praktik yang ditemukan dalam alat ukur PRHM ini yaitu Ibadah Wajib dan Ibadah Sunnah. Meskipun praktik muslim bisa bersifat privat dan publik tapi praktik remaja muslim Indonesia lebih berpola kepada Ibadah Wajib dan Ibadah Sunnah.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of emotional intelligence and communication satisfaction of organizational citizenship behavior of employees. This research used quan­ti­ta­­tive approach with correlational methods. The participants of this research was 300 employees in Bandung. The instruments were emotional intelligence (Goleman that modified by Muta’asifah (2013), communication satisfaction (Downs and Hazen, 1977), and organizational citizenship behavior (Kumar and Shah, 2015). The analysis of this research was multiple linier regression analysis. The result of this research showed that there is a effect of emotional intelligence and communication satisfaction on organiza­tional citizenship behavior of employees in Bandung. In order to improve the aspects of this research that are still lacking, it is necessary to conduct training and counseling on employees.

Abstract

This reserach examined the effect of Odoo Human Capital Training (OHCT) to improve ERP-Efficacy of psychology students. The reasearch is an intervention to improve efficacy about ERP softwares. This research used classroom action research (CAR) method of quasi experimental type with nonequivalent control group with pretest and posttest design. The participants were 35 students, with 18 students assigned to experimental group and 17 students to control group. The experimental group was trained for 4-5 hours each day within two days. The ERP-Efficacy was mesured by the ERP-Efficacy Questionnaire (ERPEQ) using 3 aspect from Compeau dan Higgins (1995). The aspect are ERP magnitude, ERP strength, and ERP generalizability. The data were analyzed by using anava mixed design. The result showed there was a significant difference of ERP-Efficacy between experimental and control group for pretest, posttest and follow up observations, with a value of F (37.25) and p (0.000). These hypothesis of this research that the effect of OHCT can improve the ERP-Efficacy among psychology students were accepted.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to see how the relationship between family support and psychological well-being of parents who have moderately retarded children. Family support is a form of interpersonal relationship that includes attitudes, actions and acceptance of family members, so that family members feel someone is paying attention. Psychological well-being is a condition in which individuals are able to accept themselves as they are, able to form warm relationships with others, have independence from social pressures, are able to control the external environment, have a meaning in life, and are able to realize themselves continuously. High family support will have a positive impact on psychological well-being. This research uses quantitative methods. The scale used is the family support scale adapted from the research of Meka Yusselda and Ice Yulia (2016), and the psychological well-being scale from Ryff's Scales of Psychological Well-being which was adapted from the research of M. Ilham Fahmy AM (2017). The subjects in this study were 30 parents. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between family support and psychological well-being. Thus, it can be concluded that the higher the family support, the higher the psychological well-being of parents who have children with moderate mental retardation and vice versa.  AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat bagaimana hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan psychological well-being pada orang tua yang memiliki anak tunagrahita sedang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 orang tua Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala dukungan keluarga yang diadaptasi dari penelitian Meka Yusselda dan Ice Yulia (2016), dan skala psychological well-being dari Ryff’s Scales of Psychological Well-being yang diadaptasi dari penelitian M. Ilham Fahmy AM (2017). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dengan psychological well-being. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi dukungan keluarga, semakin tinggi pula psychological well-being pada orang tua yang memiliki anak tunagrahita sedang dan begitupula sebaliknya.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the influence of academic emotions and school belonging toward students’ life satisfaction of students of state junior high school in Bandung. The approach used is a quantitative approach by using causality technique research. Cluster random sampling used as sampling technique. 471 students of state junior high school in Bandung completed the adaptation of Achievement Emotions Questionnaire (AEQ), adaptation of Psychological Sense of School Membership (PSSM), and adaptation of Multidimensional Students’ Life Satisfaction Scale (MSLSS). Analyses using linear and multiple regression revealed (1) there is a significant effect of positive academic emotions to students’ life satisfaction, (2) there is a significant effect of negative academic emotions to students’ life satisfaction,(3) there is a significant effect of school belonging to students’ life satisfaction, (4) there is a significant effect of positive academic emotions and school belonging to students’ life satisfaction, and (5) there is a significant effect of negative academic emotions and school belonging to students’ life satisfaction.

Abstract

This research is aimed to correlate ingroup favoritism and prosocial behavior in religion intergroup relationship context. Pearson’s correlation was used to correlate them. The participants of this study were 103 muslims. Ingroup favoritism was measured by the Three Dimensions of Social Identification constructed by Cameroon (2004) and prosocialness behavior was measured by the adapted version of Prosocialness for Adults (PSA) by Caprara et. al. (2005). The study showed that there was a relationship between ingroup favoritism and prosocial behavior towards Muslims with a correlation coefficient of 0.23 and a p-value less than 0.005, and towards non-Muslims with a correlation coefficient of -0.416 and a p-value less than 0.005. Prosocial behavior was more frequently given by Muslims towards fellow Muslims compared to non-Muslims.

Abstract

Kecelakaan kerja merupakan sebuah permasalahan yang krusial bagi setiap perusahaan khususnya bidang industri energi. Lokasi penelitian adalah perusahaan energi yang memiliki permasalahan terkait pelanggaran dan kecelakaan kerja. Sebanyak 60 persen karyawan dari 344 karyawan melakukan pelanggaran dan 12 kecelakaan telah terjadi dari tahun 2017 sampai dengan 2019. Permasalahan sulitnya meminimalisir kecelakaan kerja dan pelanggaran dikarenakan safety culture yang belum matang dan tidak adanya keteladanan dari leader yang dapat dicontoh sehingga berdampak pada proses pengambilan keputusan etis yang dilakukan karyawan. Untuk itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian pengaruh Safety Culture dan Safety Leadership terhadap Perceived Moral Intensity. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi ganda. Partisipan penelitian ini terdiri dari 90 karyawan. Hasilnya, terdapat pengaruh Safety Culture terhadap Perceived Moral Intensity, dan Safety Leadership tidak berpengaruh terhadap Perceived Moral Intensity. Peneliti merekomendasikan rancangan intervensi berupa sosialisasi mengenai budaya safety yang telah divalidasi oleh user.

Abstract

Abstract Bullying occupied the highest percentage as a case of violent children with the most case coverage in schools. The efforts to educate anti-bullying behavior need to be encouraged. One of them was by developing learning media. This research aimed to determine the effectiveness of Molly-Polly as game-based learning media to educate anti-bullying behavior in elementary school students. This research applied an experimental method by using one-group pre-test and post-test design. The intervention by Molly-Polly learning media was given to 144 students of elementary school which aged 7-12 years old who came from five schools in Makassar City. The data was obtained through respondents were analyzed by using paired sample t-tests. The result of the analysis showed a significant value of 0.000 less than 0.05. based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Molly-Polly learning media is effectively used to educate anti-bullying behavior in elementary school students. This research expected to be a scientific reference for education practitioner to educate anti-bullying behavior through Molly-Polly learning media.  Abstrak Kasus perundungan menempati persentase tertinggi sebagai kasus kekerasan pada anak dengan cakupan terbanyak terjadi di sekolah. Upaya mengedukasi perilaku anti perundungan perlu didorong, salah satunya dengan mengembangkan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media pembelajaran Molly-Polly sebagai upaya mengedukasi perilaku anti perundungan pada siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode intervensital dengan model one-group pre-test and pos-test design. Intervensi dengan media pembelajaran Molly-Polly diberikan kepada 144 siswa SD usia 7-12 tahun yang berasal dari lima sekolah dasar di Kota Makassar. Data yang diperoleh dari responden dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t sampel berpasangan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai signifikan 0.000 kurang dari 0.05. berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Molly-Polly efektif digunakan untuk mengedukasi perilaku anti perundungan pada siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan ilmiah bagi para praktisi Pendidikan untuk mendidik perilaku anti perundungan melalui media pembelajaran Molly-Polly.
