Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see how far the contribution of learning Al-Qur'an tahsin is to the reading of the jama'ah (children) of the tahsin program participants. Then improve the quality of Al-Qur'an reading jama'ah (children) tahsin program participants. Then make the tahsin Al-Qur'an participants able to memorize the Al-Qur'an. This goal originated from the problem of the jama'ah (children) of the tahsin participants, who had difficulty reading and understanding the Al-Qur'an. Because of this, they were increasingly lazy and away from the Al-Qur'an. The author here uses the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method, which is an approach that wants to empower the congregation by starting from the problems and needs of the jama'ah (children). According to the researcher, this method is the most suitable for the jama'ah (children) condition. The results of this study are author saw changes in reading the Qur'an in the jama'ah (anak-anak) with the tahsin Al-Qur'an program. This change can be seen from the jama'ah (anak-anak) of the tahsin participants who can read the Qur'an properly and correctly. Overall the Al-Quran tahsin activities went well. The smooth implementation of the activity indicated this. There was a significant change in the reading of the congregation (children) in reading the Qur'an, which made this activity a success and received a good response from the community. It is hoped that research like this will be carried out by educational observers and will serve as a reference for future researchers.

Abstract

During Ramadan, the enthusiasm of the Muslim community to worship increases rapidly, but their enthusiasm tends not to get a container or not to be supported. This is due to a shortage of teachers, mentors, facilities, and others. Therefore, STAI As-sunnah students carry out community service activities to help make activities successful during Ramadan, especially for children. The research method used is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) research method. In PAR activities, researchers do not separate themselves from the situation of the community being studied but instead, merge into it and work with residents in conducting PAR. Then, PAR is oriented towards changing the situation, increasing the knowledge and ability of citizens to understand and change their situation for the better. In this study, activities will be centered on children. The results of community service include the field of education, a field of religion, and the field of creation or creativity. In education, it has successfully trained children in public speaking, introduced Arabic to children, and provided material on Sirah nabawiyah. Then, one day-one juz has been successfully carried out in the religious field, regular Ramadan studies, sentence thayyibah, and other positive activities. Finally, in the field of creation, origami creations and jelly cooking creations are carried out. All programs have been implemented well, and this has received support from all members of the village community, who are full of enthusiasm and excellent and high spirits, so the programs implemented are beneficial and can be realized. Hopefully, the activities will continue to run continuously after the community service activities are completed.

Abstract

Pondok Tahfidz Quran Huurun'Iin is a non-formal educational institution specifically for girls, which is located on Jalan Masjid al-Barokah, Marindal I 19B, Deli Tua Timur, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra. Built-in January 2021 in a Muslim-majority environment, however, it seems far from Islamic values. Concern for the condition of the community around the location, especially the younger generation, has encouraged Pondok Tahfidz Quran Huurun'Iin to fill the role of Quran education through non-formal channels. This potential encourages the STAI As-sunnah Arabic Language Education study program to collaborate with Pondok Tahfidz Quran Huurun'Iin in a community service program with the theme "the Quran." This activity aims to improve the ability to memorize the Al-Qur’an and Arabic and optimize the month of Ramadan with entire interaction with the Al-Qur’an. The method used is Community Base Research (CBR), laying down the basic principles, planning, collecting, analyzing data, and acting on findings. As a result, STAI As-sunnah and Pondok Tahfidz Al-Qur’an Huurun'Iin succeeded in developing Arabic language learning as an alternative to filling youth activities around the Pondok Tahfidz Al-Qur’an Huurun'Iin location and gradually coloring the environment with a more Islamic and Quranic style.

Abstract

The problem in Muslim minority areas is the lack of Islamic learning, so children in these areas do not have sufficient opportunities to learn Islam. One of the Muslim minority areas facing this problem is the village of Tangga Batu 1, Lake Toba. Therefore, a community service program will be carried out to introduce Islam more broadly to children, especially knowledge of Islam, and improve their ability to read the Al-Qur’an well. The method used in solving the problems that occur is the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) method, which is an approach that wants to empower the community by starting from the assets and strengths of the community. The implementation of community service programs is direct with the community. The results of the community service program include three main things. First, learning the basics of Islam has been carried out so that many children already know the pillars of Faith and Islam well. Second, learning Iqro' runs smoothly so that children can distinguish between harf hijaiyah and long and short readings. Third, learning to improve Al-Quran reading is also carried out well so that children can read the Al-Al-Qur’an correctly, such as applying the nun sukun and mim sukun. So, after the community service program was implemented, there was a significant change in children's knowledge of Islam. They already know the basics of Islam well; their reading of harf hijaiyah is correct, and their Al-Quran reading is good.

Abstract

This research focuses on three discussion objectives: First, how to create a rabbani environment in a still strong society with local culture and customs. Second, activities that can help parents educate their children according to Islamic law. Third, how to instill a love for the Al-Qur’an and religion in children. Community service aims to create human resources that benefit the nation and religion. The community service in the village of Alam Panjang uses an alternative participatory action research (PAR) approach. Data is obtained by making observations in cycles where it is hoped there will be changes at each stage. The expected changes are supported by providing programs such as tahfiz and tahsin guidance, learning Arabic, spiritual cleansing, and constructive motivations. From the implementation of actions in the form of activity programs, satisfactory results were obtained. These results are an increase in willingness and achievements in tahfiz, tahsin, learning Arabic, and spiritual cleansing. Community service positively impacts people's mindset, which is no longer limited to things that naturally exist but makes them open to advancing human resources. This study clearly shows that the research conducted through this community service activity has improved the quality and human resources in the village of Alam Panjang.

Abstract

It is undeniable that almost all Muslims have the Al-Quran, but, regrettably, the Quran is not read but only used as a display, either because it has been stored for a long time and has never been read, or because they cannot read it. This community service activity by students and lecturers of STAI As-Sunnah aims to revive people's interest in reading the Quran. This community service activity was created using an action research framework. Furthermore, the method used is Participatory Action Research, which is commonly used to help solve social problems. Which is research commonly used to help solve social problems in society. In this study, it was found that it turns out that community interest can be reshaped through positive Al-Quran-based activities carried out over several cycles. It can be concluded that many social factors cause the lack of interest in reading the Quran. However, this interest can still be raised and revived through Al-Quran-based activities by the STAI As-sunnah team.

Abstract

Many parents do not care about learning the Al-Qur'an for their children. Most parents are more concerned with general subjects such as tutoring English, mathematics, and physics. Meanwhile, learning the Al-Qur'an is neglected. This research aims to assist parents and children in learning the Al-Qur'an in Neighborhood 09, Rengas Pulau Village, Medan Marelan District. This community service activity uses the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method. With this method, community service participants try to assist the community to solve existing problems. Community contribution is needed in this activity because it is hoped that after this activity, the community can stand independently in religious empowerment and overcome issues. To assist the community in dealing with existing problems activities to strengthen Al-Qur'an reading and writing were held for parents and children. This community service research results show positive changes in parents and children alike. Among them is their awareness of the importance of studying the Al- Qur'an, filling their time with useful things, and the community's enthusiasm for good things. Overall the KKN activities carried out by STAI As-Sunnah students went well. With the existence of this KKN activity, it can reduce the problems that exist in the midst of the community

Abstract

The STAI As-sunnah Deli Serdang service activities occur in Sungai Durian Village Lamposi Tigo Nagari Payakumbuh. This place was chosen for several reasons, including the request of several community leaders who are also student guardians and already know STAI As-Sunnah as an educational forum that produces teachers who have proven Arabic language competence. Based on this, Sungai Durian residents hope that the activities carried out in their area are able to give a new colour to the younger generation so that they are interested in continuing their studies at STAI As-Sunnah. The students, as researchers, used the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach aimed at empowering the potential in the local community and helping the community by starting from the problems and needs of the local community. With this approach, it is hoped that there will be the development of community potential and solving problems local communities face. Several program activities were carried out at one of the masjids and one of the informal community institutions, the Medina Quran House, as a community forum for learning tahsin and memorizing the Al-Qur’an. The data collection technique was obtained through direct field observations and interviews. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively and presented in tabular form. Through the programs carried out, data is obtained that shows changes in a positive direction toward the problems being faced by the community. The methods and techniques researchers use include applying the Jibril method for learning tahsin and tahfiz of the Al-Qur’an, using animated film media for learning Arabic, distributing free takjil, and cultivating quails received a positive response from the local community. The programs implemented aim to serve social services for the community.

Abstract

Aceh Tengah, Takengon, is an area with a majority Muslim population. The problem that occurs in today's young generation is that many children are not fluent in reading the Qur'an and make many mistakes in reading it in terms of makharijul letters, tajwid, and the length of the reading. Therefore, the implementation of the boarding school program at one of the educational institutions in Takengon is expected to be a medium for children to improve how to read the Qur'an. Then increase their memorization after attending the boarding school program conducted by students of STAI As-Sunnah. The method used in research is CBR (Community Base Research). Community Base Research is research with a collaborative pattern between the community and the world of action-oriented education with service learning to support social movements. The result of this activity was a change in the quality of reading and memorizing the Qur'an of the students of SDIT An-Najah, when reading and memorizing the Qur'an, they became smoother and following the rules of tajwid and makharijul letters. With this activity, it seems that the community is very enthusiastic and enthusiastic, with them fully supporting this activity and their children, who are also very enthusiastic about learning.

Abstract

Real Work Lecture (KKN) is one of the lecture activities held by STAI As-Sunnah, with the community as the main object in its implementation. This year's KKN was held in the month of Ramadan 2022. The Implementation Team was formed into several specific groups and would carry out their respective duties at the agreed place. KKN for the group that chose Ma'had Tahfizh Al-Qur'an Lil Al-aytam wa Adh-Dhu'afa' Kitabina as the object went well as planned previously. The Implementation Team held many activities aimed at optimizing the development of female students' Arabic with Arabic learning models and strategies oriented towards the activeness of the Implementation Team to make learning effective and efficient in achieving the objectives of Arabic Learning itself, both from Arabic Proficiency or Language Elements Arabic itself, so that the program applied to Ma'had Tahfizh Al-Qur'an Lil Al-aytam wa Adh-Dhu'afa' Kitabina is able to increase memorization and understanding of the Al-Qur’an as the purpose and institution of this school, the programs held there are in the form of refining tahsin, learning Arabic, awarding mufrodat, implementing ta'lim, studies, and competitions in Arabic.
