Sastra, mencakup kajian mengenai puisi, prosa fiksi, drama, dan film dengan pendekatan struktural, stilistika, semiotika, sosiologi sastra, psikologi sastra, psikoanalis, ekologi sastra, dekonstruksi, filologi, fenomenologi, marxisme, pascakolonial, feminisme, resepsi sastra, antropologi sastra, dan kajian sastra lainnya. Sastra Terapan, mencakup kajian mengenai pembelajaran puisi, pembelajaran prosa fiksi, pembelajaran drama, dan kajian sastra terapan lainnya.

<![CDATA[Textbooks are textbooks in a particular field of study that are standard books, compiled by experts in that field for instructional purposes and purposes equipped with suitable means of teaching and easily understood by the wearers in school. In this study, one approach is used, namely qualitative approach. The feasibility of this presentation aims to find out the feasibility of the textbook and of course know how appropriate and effective the textbook is in the process. In the feasibility of this presentation there are also three indicators that need to be considered, such as from the technique of presentation, supporting presentation, as well as coherence and traceability of the flow of thought. The feasibility of this presentation aims to find out the feasibility of the textbook and of course know how appropriate and effective the textbook is in the learning process. This can be interpreted with the feasibility of useful presentation on the target level of learning carried out.]]>

<![CDATA[The research title is “Ability to Identify Elements of a Class VII Student Service Lettar at YLPI Marpoyan Middle School”. Pekanbaru City”.Formulation of the problem: How is the student’s ability to identify theelements of an official letter for class VII students of SMP YLPI Marpoyan Pekanbaru City. Stra the objective is to collect data and informan about students’ ability to identify the elements of official letters for classVII students of SMP YLPI Marpoyan Pekanbaru City. Descriptive method with a quantitative approach is classified into the type of field research. The theory used is the definition of identifying, understanding letters, understanding official letters, elements of official letters, letter functions, correct and good letter requirements, letter language, characteristics of official letters, froms of official letters and parts of official letters. Sources YLPI Marpoyan Middle S chool Students, Pekanbaru City. Data collection techniques are observation techniques, test techniques and documentation. The data analysis technique is about the students’ability to identify the elements of the seventh grade official letter at SMP YLPI Marpoyan Pekanbaru City. The elements of an official letter are: letter head, letter number, letter date, letter attachment, letter subject, letter address, letter opening greeting, letter connntent, letter closing greeting, letter ransom. Class VII-1 students are categorized as getting very good grades seen from the classsification of student assessments getting 85-100.]]>

<![CDATA[The use of greeting words is a method used to reprimand, greet, invite conversation, and so on. The development of science and technology affects changes in the use of kinship words in the Toba Batak language in Lumban Sihite Village, Laeparira District, Dairi Regency. This study aims to describe the use of kinship and non-kinship greeting words in the Toba Batak language dialect of Lumban Sihite Village, Laeparira District, Dairi Regency. The research problems that the writer examines are (1) How is the use of kinship words in the Toba Batak language in Lumban Sihite Village, Laeparira District, Dairi Regency? (2) How is the use of non-kinship greetings in the Toba Batak language in Lumban Sihite Village, Laeparira District, Dairi Regency?. This research methodology uses descriptive methods to identify research problems and qualitative approaches. The results of the research that the authors found showed that the use of greeting words in the Toba Batak language in Lumban Sihite Village, Laeparira District, Dairi Regency to fellow relatives was 45 greeting words. While the use of non-kinship greeting words in the Toba Batak language in Lumban Sihite Village, Laeparira District, Dairi Regency as many as 9 greeting word.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe, analyze, and interpret the principle of cooperation between directive and expressive speech acts in dialogue between characters in the film Ajari Aku Islam directed by Deni Pusung. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, documentation, listening, and note-taking techniques. The results showed that of the 118 utterances that the writer found, there were 72 utterances of directive speech acts, 46 utterances of expressive speech acts, and 161 utterances that met the maxim of cooperative principle in directive speech acts, and 106 data of utterances that met the maxim of cooperative principle in speech acts. expressive. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that directive and expressive speech acts are widely used in almost all utterances spoken by the figures in the film Ajari Aku Islam directed by Deni Pusung. Meanwhile, when viewed from the use of the maxim of the cooperative principle, the overall forms of directive and expressive speech acts in the speeches of these figures fulfill the whole. This shows that the speech of the characters in the film Ajari Aku Islam has fulfilled the aspects of speech contained in pragmatic studies, so it can be stated that film is a form of literary work that allows it to contain great pragmatic power]]>

<![CDATA[Moral actions are first based on the human heart itself. If the heart is not satisfied with what it has, it will be done with actions, both right and wrong actions. The research on "Analysis of Moral Values in the Novel Bidadari Whispering by Asma Nadia" uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. This research is a type of library research with data in the form of words, sentences, and paragraphs that contain moral values related to responsibility, conscience, and obligation in the novel Bidadari Berklik by Asma Nadia. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of literary psychology, conclusions can be drawn: first, the moral value of the aspect of responsibility experienced by Ayuning's character, he has the responsibility to take care of his mother. Pak Edi's character, he has a responsibility for the safety of other people's lives, the mother character, he feels responsible for the child he found on the side of the river; second, the moral value from the aspect of conscience experienced by Ayuning's character, Ayuning's conscience is unable to suppress guilt, his tears welled up. Mother character Mother's little heart feels sad in waiting and hope. Ayuni's character, The feeling of pleasure is extraordinary when imagining that you will get a big salary if you work in the capital city. Pak Edi's character, there was a turmoil between Pak Edi's heart and mind; and third, the moral value of the aspect of obligations experienced by the Ayuning character, trying to carry out the obligation to wear the hijab for Muslim women.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the research problem of how the religious values of Islam in the novel Bidadari Whispering by Asma Nadia. In terms of language, storyline, story content. The method used in this research is descriptive. This research is included in qualitative research. The results of this study are the sources of data used in the novel Bidadari berbisik by Asma Nadia. This novel was published in Jakarta, Republika publisher in February 2020. The number of pages is 301 sheets, and there are 5 chapters. This research uses hermeneutic technique. The author interprets the data based on the data analysis conducted on Islamic religious values in the novel Bidadari Berbisik by Asma Nadia. There are 61 data in this study including , 1. Faith (tawhid) found 25 data, 2. Norms of Life (fiqh) found 5 data, 3. Attitude and behavior (morals) found 31 data. The data that is more dominant in the novel Bidadari Whispering by Asma Nadia is behavioral attitudes (morals) as many as 31 data.]]>

<![CDATA[Writing is one of the four aspects of language skills. Writing is a form of indirect communication that expresses the author's intentions. In writing a drama script, there are 3 essential things that must be mastered. The advantages of writing scripts for children are not as real as the real conditions in the field. At least students write children's scripts, and it's not because they don't like children's scripts. But because they do not understand who the child is and how. To overcome this, the authors apply the IDCD strategy (Identification, Design, Change, and Development) and its implementation in Merdeka Learning. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method, based on a literature review. The results achieved by using this IDCD strategy are. This strategy has four main stages: defining, designing, modifying, and developing. This strategy creates a good storyline and is in accordance with the developmental level of the child, but for good results the time needed is relatively long term.]]>

<![CDATA[Bahasa jurnalistik didefinisikan sebagai bahasa yang digunakan oleh para redaktur, wartawan, atau pengelola media massa dalam proses menyusun, menyajikan, memuat, menyiarkan, dan menayangkan berita serta laporan peristiwa atau pernyataan yang benar, aktual, penting dan menarik dengan tujuan agar isinya mudah dipahami dan maknanya cepat ditangkap. Ciri utama bahasa jurnalistik antara lain : (1) sederhana, (2) singkat, (3) padat, (4) lugas, (5) jelas, (6) jernih, (7) menarik, (8) demokratis, (9) populis, (10) logis, (11) gramatikal, (12) menghindari kata tutur, (13) menghindari kata dan istilah asing, (14) pilihan kata (diksi) yang tepat, (15) mengutamakan kalimat aktif, (16) menghindari kata atau istilah teknis, dan (17) tunduk kepada kaidah etika. Masalah yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah penggunaan bahasa jurnalistik pada berita utama dalam surat kabar Tribun Pekanbaru Edisi Juni 2021? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan data dan informasi tentang penggunaan bahasa jurnalistik pada berita utama dalam surat kabar Tribun Pekanbaru. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Sumadiria (2016). Penelitian dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik dokumentasi dan teknik hermenutik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan bahasa jurnalistik pada berita utama dalam surat kabar Tribun Pekanbaru edisi 2 s.d 29 Juni 2021 sudah menggunakan karakteristik penggunaan bahasa jurnalistik, namun masih ditemukan kesalahan dalam penerapan karakteristik jurnalistik. Berikut simpulan keseluruhan data yang penulis peroleh : (1) aspek sederhana sebanyak 7 data, (2) aspek singkat sebanyak 10 data, (3) aspek padat sebanyak 1 data, (4) aspek lugas sebanyak 8 data, (5) aspek jelas sebanyak 15 data, (6) aspek populis sebanyak 3 data, (7) aspek gramatikal sebanyak 6 data, (8) aspek penggunaan kata dan istilah asing sebanyak 19 data, (9) aspek pilihan kata (diksi) sebanyak 22 data, (10) aspek mengutamakan kalimat aktif sebanyak 8 data, dan (11) aspek penggunaan kata atau istilah teknis sebanyak 21 data.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstinence is a tradition that describes a socio-cultural life of the community that has a certain meaning that parents want to convey in educating their children. The problem in this research is how are the social values contained in abstinence in Air Molek 1 Village, Pasir Turtle District, Indragiri Hulu Regency? The purpose of this study is to describe, analyze, interpret, and conclude the social values found in Air Molek 1 Village, Pasir Turtle District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The method used is descriptive. The data source is the expression of abstinence that was conveyed to the community in Air Molek 1 Village, Pasir Turtle District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The approach in this research is qualitative. The type of research is field research. The results of this study indicate that abstinence contains social values found in Air Molek 1 Village, Pasir Turtle District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, namely material values, vital values, and spiritual values. For material values, there are 4 data for abstinence, for vital values there are 5 data for abstinence, for spiritual values there are 34 data for abstinence.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by a violation of the principle of politeness in language, because the event is more dominant with questions. The problem studied in this study is how are the maxims of wisdom, generosity, appreciation, simplicity, consensus and sympathy in the principles of language politeness in the speech of the presenters and guest stars in the Mata Najwa program on Trans 7? This study aims to describe, analyze, and interpret "Principles of Language Politeness in Mata Najwa in Trans 7". The theory used in this study is the theory of Chaer (2010) and Leech (1993). The method used in this research is descriptive method. The research approach that the author uses is qualitative research. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, documentation, listening and note-taking techniques. The results of the author's research can be concluded that the principle of politeness in the eyes of Najwa in Trans7 uses a lot of polite language such as 1) the maxim of wisdom in the Mata Najwa event on Trans 7 shows the existence of speech that maximizes the benefits of others, 2) the maxim of generosity in the Mata Najwa event in Trans 7 shows an utterance that minimizes self-benefit, 3) The maxim of appreciation in the Mata Najwa event in Trans 7 shows an utterance that maximizes praise to others. 4) the maxim of simplicity in the Mata Najwa program on Trans 7 shows that there is an utterance that minimizes self-praise. 5) the maxim of consensus in the Mata Najwa event on Trans 7 shows the existence of speech that maximizes agreement with others., 6) the maxim of sympathy in the Mata Najwa event on Trans 7 shows the existence of speech that maximizes sympathy for others.]]>
