Publikasi jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menyebarluaskan gagasan konseptual dari hasil penelitian dan hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dicapai pada bidang sastra, bahasa, dan pendidikan Jurnal Sajak secara khusus menitikberatkan pada permasalahan pokok dalam pengembangan ilmu-ilmu sebagai berikut: Pendidikan secara Umum. Lingustik, mencakup kajian mengenai linguistik, fonologi, morfologi, sintaksis, semantik, pragmatik, wacana, sosiolinguistik, psikolinguistik, neurolinguistik, dan kajian lingustik lainnya. Lingustik Terapan, mencakup kajian mengenai pembelajaran linguistik, pembelajaran fonologi, pembelajaran morfologi, pembelajaran sintaksis, pembelajaran semantik, pembelajaran pragmatik, pembelajaran wacana, pembelajaran sosiolinguistik, pembelajaran psikolinguistik, pembelajaran neurolinguistik, dan kajian linguistik terapan lainnya. Sastra, mencakup kajian mengenai puisi, prosa fiksi, drama, dan film dengan pendekatan struktural, stilistika, semiotika, sosiologi sastra, psikologi sastra, psikoanalis, ekologi sastra, dekonstruksi, filologi, fenomenologi, marxisme, pascakolonial, feminisme, resepsi sastra, antropologi sastra, dan kajian sastra lainnya. Sastra Terapan, mencakup kajian mengenai pembelajaran puisi, pembelajaran prosa fiksi, pembelajaran drama, dan kajian sastra terapan lainnya.

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the names of village in Pangkalan Kuras district, Pelalawan district Pangkalan Kuras. This research includes qualitative research using ethnographic methods. The data collection technique used is observasion, interview, note taking anda listening techniques. Data analysis tecchniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and concludion drawing/data verification. Based on the research results, the naming of names in the village of Pangkalan Kuras sub-district consists of aspects of embodiment, aspect of culture and aspect of society.]]>

<![CDATA[The way to communicate that is widely used by young people today is through the electronic media whatsapp, where this application can send text, images, stickers, and so on. A sticker consisting of supporting text and images can be used as an expression of the feelings that are being felt by the sender of the sticker. This study uses qualitative research, the method used is the library method which was carried out in 2022. The object used in this study is a sticker on social media obtained from social media or Whatsapp communication media. In collecting data, the researcher used a purposive technique, namely by collecting several stickers in the form of text and images, in Indonesian and the regional language, namely Javanese as a supporter of the stickers. The researcher found 10 data in the form of stickers from Whatsapp Groups, 6 data discussing the relationship between text and images on stickers and 4 data discussing semantic puns on stickers equipped with supporting images. The data obtained are categorized into two forms. This digital sticker serves as a communication material and a humor function.]]>

<![CDATA[This study examines the meaning of the Riau Islands Malay proverb which is broadcast through the official YouTube page at https://youtu.be/gkeyFZXAMso. The video which lasts five minutes and three seconds (00.05.03) describes the Malay proverbs used in the daily activities of the people of the Riau Archipelago. By using the content analysis method, the author wants to find out how the meaning of the Malay proverb used in the Assyria Lover youtube video is. Data collection techniques used are documentation techniques and listening and note-taking techniques. The analysis technique used is content analysis. The data contained in the video regarding Malay proverbs and dialogues on the Assyria Lover YouTube video can be used as evidence in conducting this research. The research begins with identifying, classifying, and interpreting data. From the results of the analysis, there are 8 proverb data including, 4 Kepulawan Riau Malay proverbs in the Assyria Lover youtube video, 3 Riau Islands Malay parables in the Assyria Lover youtube video, and 1 figurative proverb or Riau Archipelago Malay in the Assyria Lover youtube video.]]>

<![CDATA[Naming is a symbol process that refers to a referent. Giving a name to each area is not only for designation but to make it easier for someone to recognize the identity of the area. Each area is given a name by the community based on the situation and condition of each area. This study uses etymological and semantic approaches. This study describes: 1) the origin of village naming in Tapung District, Kampar Regency "based on natural elements", namely because of natural phenomena, which are used as special places 2) the origin of village nomenclature "based on circumstances and expectations" , such as real environmental conditions or have higher potential for the local people 3) the origin of the nomenclature of villages and hamlets "based on the process of establishment", is to identify the origin in determining the description of the name of the village. The results of the study show that the names of villages in Tapung sub-district are in the form of nouns, adjectives, and a small part are in the form of numerals. The majority of village names in Tapung District are based on natural elements, only a few are based on circumstances and expectations, as well as the process of their establishment.]]>

<![CDATA[In the use of language, of course there is a certain style of language that humans use when interacting, in this case is to comment on an Instagram upload. The language style is used to express all ideas, intentions, feelings, and thoughts related to the uploads seen by the Instagram users. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. The method used is the method of content analysis. In this study, the data are comments that contain sarcasm, while the source of the data comes from the DPR RI's Instagram comment column (@dpr_ri). Data collection begins with collecting information related to existing comments, then documenting by taking screenshots. Then, the data that has been found is analyzed using sarcasm language style. There were 24 data on the use of sarcasm in the comments column for the DPR RI Instagram account. There are various forms of sarcasm comments in the DPR RI Instagarm comments column, including: 1) containing ridicule, ridicule, and satire, 2) contradicting language meanings, 3) containing bitterness and not pleasing to the eye or hearing, 4) containing reproach that bitter.]]>

The data collection technique used in this study is the listening and note-taking technique. The approach used in this research is a qualitative research approach. <![CDATA[This research is entitled "Style of Figurative Language in Fable Stories in Indonesian Language Textbooks for 7th Grade Middle School Published by the Ministry of Education and Culture". The purpose of this study is to provide information and knowledge about the language styles in the textbook. By using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The source of the data in this research is a collection of fable stories that are in the Indonesian language textbook for Class 7 Middle School. The data collection technique uses the documentation technique. In data acquisition, the researcher started by reading, marking, taking notes, and grouping. The results of the research conducted on "figurative language styles in fable stories in Indonesian language textbooks for 7th grade junior high schools published by the Ministry of Education and Culture" contained 10 data which were divided into 7 language styles. The seven language styles are: 1 hyperbole language style, 1 personification style, 1 metominia style, 3 hypalase style, 1 antonymous language style, 2 sarcasm language style, and 1 satire language style.]]>

<![CDATA[The study in this research focuses on moral values seen from the aspects of responsibility, conscience, and obligation. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data taken from this study are words, sentences, and paragraphs that contain moral values related to responsibility, conscience, and obligation. The data source in this study is the entire contents of the novel Guru Aini which was published in 2019, written by Andrea Hirata. The results of data analysis in this study concluded that the moral values from the aspect of responsibility contained in Andrea Hirata's Novel Guru Aini contained 6 data. such as: The character Desi, who is ready to take risks wherever she is placed to teach, becomes a math teacher. Aini's character, she has promised not to humiliate herself by being dishonest with a desi teacher. The moral value of the conscience aspect is contained in the Novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata. There are 4 data. such as: Desi figure, a desi who is ready to work anywhere because she feels that Indonesia lacks math teachers. The moral value from the obligatory aspect is found in the Novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata. There are 8 data. such as: The figure of Desi, desi thanked the crew members who had helped her carry the goods to get off the ship. Figures of high school students, before entering the classroom, they shook hands and kissed the hand of their teacher, a desi teacher who was already standing in front of the class.]]>

<![CDATA[With the ease of freedom to express ideas, aspirations and opinions on social media without realizing it, these ideas or opinions have dysphemism or have a rough meaning. The source of the community's legibility affects the pattern of language. This study discusses dysphemism in the @kompascom Instagram account. The purpose of this study is to describe in depth the value of dysphemism and the meaning of dysphemism in the Instagram account @kompascom January 1-31 2021 edition. The theory used is the theory of Fiiarum and Savitri (2018) and Abdul Chaer (2009). This research method is content analysis method. This study uses a qualitative research approach. The source of this research data is the news text in the @kompascom Instagram account edition January 1-31 2021. This type of research is library research. The data collection techniques of this research are documentation techniques and hermeneutic techniques. The data studied were documented by reading, recording, summarizing and classified based on categories according to the theory used. The results obtained are 39 data. Based on the value of the sense of dysphemism, it is divided into the value of disgusting taste, the value of terrible taste, the value of creepy taste, the value of embarrassing taste and the value of scary taste. Based on the meaning of dysphemism, it is divided into 2, namely denotative meaning and connotative meaning. The use of dysphemism in the @kompascom account has more value for fear of negative depictions to make it look bad for an object or event and uses more denotative meanings in describing meaning according to reality. In this study, it was found that the value of dysphemism was 39 data, 3 data value of disgusting taste, 11 data value of terrible taste, 4 data value of creepy taste, 6 data value of shameful taste and 15 data value of scary taste. The form of the meaning of dysphemism contained in this study is the meaning of denotative dysphemism with 30 data and connotative meaning of 9 data.]]>
