Sastra, mencakup kajian mengenai puisi, prosa fiksi, drama, dan film dengan pendekatan struktural, stilistika, semiotika, sosiologi sastra, psikologi sastra, psikoanalis, ekologi sastra, dekonstruksi, filologi, fenomenologi, marxisme, pascakolonial, feminisme, resepsi sastra, antropologi sastra, dan kajian sastra lainnya. Sastra Terapan, mencakup kajian mengenai pembelajaran puisi, pembelajaran prosa fiksi, pembelajaran drama, dan kajian sastra terapan lainnya.

Humans who live in a certain area have a clear purpose and purpose. Just as humans inhabit an area on earth, humans will give names to all elements of geography, such as the names of rivers, hills, mountains, valleys, islands, bays, seas, straits, and so on that are in their territory. Naming is a process of symbolizing a concept to refer to a referent. Giving a name to each area is not only for designation but to make it easier for someone to recognize the identity of the area. North Rupat District is one of the sub-districts in Bengkalis Regency. Not many people know the shape and meaning of the origin or story of naming villages in North Rupat District. Naming and naming a place and region comes from the names of people, plants, history and so on. In this study there are several problems how the cultural values contained in the naming of villages in North Rupat District. This study aims to identify, analyze, and interpret the form of village naming in North Rupat District, to identify, analyze, and interpret the meaning of village naming in North Rupat District, and to know the cultural values contained in village naming in North Rupat District. This study uses an anthropolinguistic study that connects the study of language and culture. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The method used in data collection is a research method. The interview technique carried out by the researcher used the note- taking technique. The cultural values contained in the Village Naming, Rupat Utara District, Bengkalis Regency are the value of peace, the value of positive thinking culture, and the cultural value of preservation and creativity.

Indonesian semantics is a branch of linguistics that studies the types of meaning contained in a paragraph or sentence regarding the system of symbols and signs. In semantics, it describes various kinds of studies including Meaning Relations in each sentence, while what is studied in this study is related to the meaning relations between sentences that exist in online news sources. The news that became a study was taken from one of the online news outlets, namely Sindonews, with various kinds and types of news such as news about education, sports, economics, politics and even news about life and motivation from foreigners. So, in this study taking one source of news about education, the data obtained was about the various meanings contained and this study used a descriptive qualitative approach with the addition of content analysis methods that made the data sources obtained relevant. And the studies used in this study relate to the meaning of synonyms, homonyms, polysemy and antonyms.

Feminism is a form of resistance to patriarchal ideology in which women are inferior to men. Feminism aims to raise awareness and fight against the exploitation of women in society. The purpose of this study was to obtain data and information to describe, analyze, and interpret data on social aspects of feminism based on the process of socialization, social tasks, and social class in Aqiladyna's novel Sekar. The main theory used by the author is the theory of Sikana (2005). The approach used is a qualitative approach with the type of library research. The method used is descriptive method. The data collection technique used is hermeneutic technique. The data analysis technique used by the author is content analysis technique. The results of the feminist analysis research in Aqiladyna's novel Sekar contained 16 data consisting of (5) data on the socialization process, (5) data on social tasks, and (6) data on social class. The social aspect in the novel Sekar by Aqiladyna describes the social injustice experienced by women, especially in the Sekar character which can be seen from the process of socialization, social tasks, and social class.

Composition as a tool to study a language. Language has its own differences depending on the speaker interprets it. Riau Malay language has differences due to differences in Riau Malay language caused by geographical location. Different geographical locations lead to the emergence of different words that affect changes in form and meaning. Forms and meanings in a language have different meanings, depending on how speakers interpret them. The purpose of this study is to describe, analyze, identify, and conclude the form and meaning of the composition of the Riau Malay language in Serapung village, Kuala Kampar sub-district, Pelalawan district: a morphological study. The theory used in this research is the theory of Muslich and Muchti. This research uses ethnographic method. Sources of data used are oral data or oral speech. The results of this study can be concluded as a whole found (1) compositional forms in which the first element is explained (D) by the second element (M), (2) compound forms whose elements do not explain each other, but are only a parallel series (copulative), (3) the meaning of composition which states the meaning of dregs/dung, (4) the meaning of composition which states the meaning of biological family (5) the meaning of composition which states the meaning of circumstances, (6) the meaning of composition which states the meaning of nature and (7) the meaning of composition which states the meaning tool.

This study examines the implementation of the Indonesian online learning process. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Indonesian language online learning process in junior high schools throughout the Kampar Kiri sub-district for the 2020/2021 academic year. The theory used to analyze the research problem uses the theory of Bilfaqih and Qomaruddin (2015). This type of research is qualitative research with phenomenological methods. The informants of this study consisted of 5 informants who came from SMPN 1 Kampar Kiri 2 teachers, SMPN 2 Kampar Kiri 1 teacher and SMPN 1 Atap Muara Selaya there were 2 teachers. Data collection techniques using interviews. Data analysis used the Stevick-Colaizzi-Kean phenomenological study technique. The result of this research is that the implementation of the Indonesian language online learning process in junior high schools throughout the Kampar Kiri District for the 2020/2021 Academic Year shows that the implementation has been maximized. This is evident from the results of the answers to several questions posed to the teacher indicating that Indonesian language teachers have implemented and implemented several procedures in the implementation of online learning, starting with providing material information, conducting exploration, elaborating in the implementation of learning, providing video explanations of the material, providing assignments or assessments directly online as well as providing a forum for uploading assignments and information in the form of WhatsApp groups for student study groups

Poetry reading training is very important for junior high school students. In addition to practicing literary skills, reading poetry can also train students' mental abilities to appear in front of many people. Reading poetry is one of the teaching literature in the junior high school curriculum. As a literary work, poetry has many benefits for children's development, namely for junior high school students. Reading poetry will shape the character of children to be wiser and mature. In poetry, you will find various kinds of emotions, stories, moral messages and much more. In addition, reading poetry can also build students' character and personality because poetry contains many messages and moral values, therefore this community service needs to be done by formulating the problem of how to increase knowledge and poetry reading skills through training that will be carried out Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Dumai Timur. This is in accordance with the purpose of knowing and describing the knowledge and poetry reading skills of Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Dumai Timur. This dedication method uses a descriptive method. The output target of this service activity is to improve knowledge, skills, and experience in reading poetry for Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Dumai Timur and the Sajak journal will be published.

The problem raised in this community service is the use of rhymes in Efforts to Build the Character of Class V Students at the Special Assisted State Elementary School of Dumai Timur. The decline in character / morals that occurs among students / students so that teachers are expected to be able to improve the character of these students through learning rhymes. The purpose of this community service is to provide socialization about the use of rhymes in an effort to build the character of the fifth graders of the Special Guidance Elementary School in East Dumai. It is hoped that after this socialization the character / morals of students will increase in a better direction because literature, especially rhymes, has a very important role in character building efforts, because basically literary works contain many life values that are full of educational values. character in it. The results achieved in this community service activity are an increase in the character/morality of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri Special Guidance for East Dumai which can be seen from the following indicators, namely the increase in positive characters that occur in students, reduced immoral relationships/brawls that occur among students/ students, creating a comfortable learning atmosphere at school.

The integration of humanist literacy in learning materials is a competency that must be possessed in facing future challenges. This competence involves a person's humanist receptive skills to social symptoms and practices in society. There are many social practices of the community that exist in social life and an in-depth study is needed to fortify the humanist values of students. The fundamental problem that is currently happening is the erosion of the humanist values of students due to the flow of globalization culture. Therefore, teachers need to update the design of digital-based teaching materials in learning. It aims to communicate, collaborate, and reflect on human values to students digitally. That way students can make wise decisions about human values in the learning process. This dedication target is carried out for teachers of SMPN 2 Dumai Timur. The purpose of this service is to provide an update on the design of digital-based teaching materials and the integration of humanist literacy. The solution to this problem is to conduct training for the teachers of SMPN 2 Dumai Timur on the integration of humanist literacy in learning materials. The benefit of this service is that teachers can integrate humanist literacy in learning materials.

The flow of globalization, technological developments, and science requires teachers to be able to answer challenges by increasing self-competence. One of the competencies needed to deal with this is creativity in the form of scientific work. Having the ability to write scientific papers is one of the factors that can improve the professionalism of a teacher in addition to being able to make lesson plans, make teaching materials, learning media, and so on. However, based on observations there are still many teachers, especially at SMP N 2 Dumai, have not been able to understand how to write scientific papers properly and correctly, including how to cite and make references using computer application systems, so far teachers are still using the manual system. This problem is certainly very important to find a solution, because the demands in the world of scientific publications at this time, especially journals that have national and international accreditation, are required to use computer applications, one of which is the mendeley reference manager as a condition for acceptance (acceptable / anti-reject) in the journal target publication. . Therefore, this training is one of the efforts to improve the quality of teachers. The training is carried out using a classical and individual approach. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that the Mendeley reference manager tutorial for writing scientific papers for teachers of SMP Negeri 2 Dumai can be categorized as successful and according to the set targets.

Reading poetry is one of the teaching of literature in the High School Curriculum. As a form of literary work, poetry has many benefits for children's development, namely for High School students. For High School students, reading poetry is sometimes a scary thing or a scourge for them, even though they enjoy learning to read poetry. Most students still think learning to read poetry is a difficult and scary lesson. Every time there is a poetry reading competition, the teacher finds it difficult to find students who are willing and brave in reading poetry. This is because students are not used to reading poetry in front of people. The problem of students in reading Malay poetry is the lack of students' understanding both theoretically and practically in mastering dynamic stress; (b) tone pressure (intonation); (c) tempo pressure. The solution is to conduct poetry reading training for students of SMA Negeri 2 Dumai, Dumai City. The method of community service uses a descriptive method, meaning it is descriptive to describe what it is. This service is in the nature of collecting, managing, and analyzing the data presented as it is in accordance with the problems in the field. The descriptive method was used because the author wanted to accurately assess the ability of the students of SMA Negeri 2 Dumai, Dumai City, in reading poetry. Based on the implementation of "Poetry Reading Training for Students of SMA Negeri 2 Dumai, Dumai City" it can be concluded that the activity went smoothly and successfully. Participants have been able to theoretically understand Malay poetry and have good reading skills. This training was conducted in an effort to improve students' competence in reading Malay poetry. Furthermore, from filling out the partner satisfaction questionnaire, it can be concluded that the average participant is satisfied with the activities carried out.
