Jurnal Riset Agama
Jurnal Riset Agama is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of scholarly research on Religious and socio-cultural studies. Particular attention is paid to works dealing with Religious studies using an interdisciplinary perspective, especially within Islamic Theology and its related teachings resources. The journal is published three times a year, in April, August, and December by the Faculty of Ushuluddin, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Indonesia The review process in this journal employs a double-blind peer-review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa.

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss the core values in strategic management systems. This research method is qualitative through literature study with a living hadith approach which is a case study in Islamic higher education. The results and discussion of this research are in the form of a vision, mission, goals, strategic objectives, and core values of Islamic higher education institutions. These are substantially understood as a manifestation of the management of the Prophet, as a noble person with al-Qur'an morals. This study concludes that the relevant living hadith approach is used for research on the core values of strategic management systems that are initiated by institutions in their efforts to achieve strategic goals. The recommendation of this research is the importance of developing hadith studies and developing value-based institutions as a reference for decision making.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze gender in the perspective of QS. An-Nisa verse 34. This research uses a qualitative approach through literature study. The results and discussion of the research show that QS. An-Nisa verse 34 discusses the position of men as the head of the family and shows the portion and role of women and men in the family. This study concludes that QS. An-Nisa verse 34 states the leadership of men in the family. Women and men have their respective roles and portions. More or less QS. An-Nisa verse 34 shows that there are jobs or positions for men that cannot be replaced by women and vice versa. This study recommends other researchers to study gender issues from the perspective of the Qur'an further.]]>

<![CDATA[The adherents of indigenous religions are part of Indonesian society that has existed for a long time. But their rights are not fulfilled. In this study, the researcher aims to discuss the rights of adherents of indigenous religions. The research method used in this research is to use qualitative research with literature study. The results of this study contain a discussion of the history of the development of local religions, besides that this study also discusses local religious laws and rights in Indonesia, and this study also discusses the theory of minority influence applied to adherents of local religions. The conclusion of this study shows that the conflict between local and majority religions has existed since the Dutch era and this has an impact on local religious adherents who are marginalized in society. So that their rights are neglected as human beings and citizens.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss how the concept of Islam wasathiyah Azyumardi Azra as a way of religious moderation in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive-analytical method. Regarding the data, this research is library research, so the data used are books that are directly related to this research. The results and discussion in this study seek to explore the concept of Islam wasathiyah Azyumardi Azra as a way of religious moderation in Indonesia. This study concludes that the Islamic thought of Wasathiyah Azyumardi Azra as a way of religious moderation is to actualize the values of moderation that already exist in the Qur'an, achieve peace and contribute to civilized and progressive civilization. This study recommends the Indonesian Ministry of Religion to apply wasathiyah values in Islam as a way of religious moderation.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the law of the sunnah prayer before maghrib. This study uses a qualitative approach through descriptive-analytical methods. The results and discussion of this study indicate that praying sunnah before maghrib is sunnah, but this sunnah is not recommended based on the hadith of Imam Bukhari. This study concludes that performing sunnah prayers before maghrib is allowed but not recommended, scientifically the law is ghairu muakkad. This study recommends to the public and academics to review the mukhtalif of sunnah prayers before maghrib.]]>

<![CDATA[Social media in this digital era has become a source of concentration in information. Not a few uses of social media as a source of knowledge in religious values (Islam). This study aims to discuss the practice of Islam in the global media era of social media convergence as a source of Islamic religious knowledge. The research uses a qualitative approach through descriptive-analytical methods. The results and discussion of this study indicate that the facts that we can see today, there are a lot of misleading, gossiping and immoral actions that originate from various content available on social media, of course, it becomes homework for all, especially parents, teachers and preachers so that they can help. educate the younger generation so that they become wiser and smarter in using social media. This study concludes that in a religious context, the convergence of social media as a source of knowledge has both positive and negative impacts. This study recommends all social media users to continue to adopt sciences whose sources of references and learning narrations are clear, especially on religious issues (Islam).]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss the concept of morality in studying according to the hadith and the influence of the times on the morality of the students. This research uses an approach method through literature study and content analysis. The results and discussion in this study include general views of morality in studying, hadith about morality in studying, and morality in studying in changing times. This study concludes that in demanding something that should not be forgotten and discussed is morality in seeking knowledge, both to the teacher, and morality to the knowledge that will be studied alone. This research is expected to provide benefits and add insight into the treasures of Islamic knowledge for readers.]]>

<![CDATA[Recently, there has been an interesting phenomenon regarding mind therapy, the Mind Healing Technique, which is an alternative therapy for healing various types of physical and psychological ailments. The purpose of this study is to analyze Sufism values in the Mind Healing Technique process of mind therapy, a case study on student anxiety in facing school exams at SMPN 1 Simpang Teritip Bangka Belitung. This research method uses a qualitative research type, where the data sources come from the results of observations, interviews and other literature related to the research theme. Based on the results of the research that MHT (Mind Healing Technique) mind therapy is not only effective in healing students' anxiety in facing school exams, MHT (Mind Healing Technique) mind therapy also has significant sufistic values. Therefore, researchers highly recommend MHT (Mind Healing Technique) mind therapy as an alternative to physical and psychological healing.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper purpose is to determine how the concept of the value of Sufism in Idrisiyyah Islamic Boarding School Tasikmalaya. Second, how to apply the values of Sufism of the Idrisiyyah Tarekat in developing the character of the students of the Idrisiyyah Islamic Boarding School Tasikmalaya.this paper used qualitative method which data source from observation, interview, and literatures that related with the topic. The research result shows that Idrisiyyah as a religious institution engaged in an effort to develop the character of the students emphasizes on three religious pillars namely Faith, Islam, Ihsan, in the pattern of Sufism put forward Sufism amali oriented to Tazkiyyah annafsh (cleansing of the soul) tashfiyah al-qalb (building a positive character), and tahdzib al-akhlaq (building akhlakul karimah) trying to instill a positive character for the santri. One of the efforts to handle santri not be deceived by the world is with cultivation of sufistic values guided directly by Mursyid Tarekat Idrisiyyah namely Sheikh Akbar Muhammad Fathurrahman. Dhikr gives meaning to self-awareness which then encourages him consciously and with full responsibility to continue his dynamic life mission of giving meaning through righteous deeds.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to analyze mural art in Majalaya sub-district in terms of the art philosophy of Leo Tolstoy. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of field research. The results and discussion of this reseach include mural art in Majalaya District, Leo Tolstoy philosophy of art, and analysis of mural art in Majalaya District in terms of Leo Tolstoy art philosophy. The conclusion of this study is that mural art in Majalaya District in terms of principles and practice is relevant to Leo Tolstoy’s philosophy of art. The research is recommended for further and in-depth research on mural art and other arts in order to support its existence, especially in Majalaya District.]]>
