Abstract

Abstract: In a heterogeneus society, as in Indonesia, multicultural conflict contributed significantly to the crisis of culture and human right violations. Cultural interaction that is not harmonius or coercion between the cultural phenomenon of one over another has threatened the ideal of culture itself. Therefore, the required planting patterns in a more businesslike culture and heterogeneous to answer the crisis of culture. Awareness of multiculturalism and respect for human rights need to be inculcated in every student the education in our country. This paper attempts to describe how important and growing signicance of education in the world of multicultural education to be able to issues of conflict and human right violations are constantly palgued this nation. Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas konstruksi tafsir tematik akademik dalam disertasi PTAIN, khususnya kerangka paradigmatis yang digunakan. Kerangka paradigmatis merupakan asumsi dan proposisi yang disusun sebagai cara pandang penafsir (penulis disertasi tafsir tematik) terhadap al-Qur’an sehingga mendorong dan mengarahkan dalam melakukan penafsiran. Dari delapan disertasi yang diteliti, ditemukan enam kerangka paradigmatis yang digunakan dalam menyusun metode tafsir tematik, yakni: al-Qur’an sebagai hudan (petunjuk); kesatuan tema al-Qur’an; historisitas al-Qur’an; kesastraan dan tekstualitas al-Qur’an; al-Qur’an sebagai subjek penelitian kualitatif; dan korelasi “Ayat” Kawniyah-Ayat Qawliyyah.

Abstract

Social media in this digital era has become a source of concentration in information. Not a few uses of social media as a source of knowledge in religious values (Islam). This study aims to discuss the practice of Islam in the global media era of social media convergence as a source of Islamic religious knowledge. The research uses a qualitative approach through descriptive-analytical methods. The results and discussion of this study indicate that the facts that we can see today, there are a lot of misleading, gossiping and immoral actions that originate from various content available on social media, of course, it becomes homework for all, especially parents, teachers and preachers so that they can help. educate the younger generation so that they become wiser and smarter in using social media. This study concludes that in a religious context, the convergence of social media as a source of knowledge has both positive and negative impacts. This study recommends all social media users to continue to adopt sciences whose sources of references and learning narrations are clear, especially on religious issues (Islam).

Abstract

Abstract: For the purpose of developing a comprehensive method of interpreting the Qur'an, Al-Qur'an researchers have written research manuscripts containing criticism of exegetical and hermeneutical methods. However, the weakness of this criticism is that it only focuses on the weak points of the two methods. This research explores data regarding criticism of the two methods of interpreting the Qur'an by showing the weaknesses and strengths of both. For the purpose of finding a comprehensive method of interpreting the Qur'an, this paper proposes the possibility of integration between the two methods. The method used in this research is descriptive-analytical within the framework of a literature study. With this method, tafsir and hermeneutical methods are described and analyzed based on literature reviews or literature studies of both. Next, there is a proposed methodological alternatives within the framework of integrating the two methods. The conclusion from this research is that it is very possible to integrate the two methods to obtain a comprehensive interpretation method. Regarding the possibility of integration, this research offers a method of interpreting the Qur'an namely Interpretive Exegetical Methodology.

Abstract

Abstract

This paper examines the construction of an oral interpretation of the Quran on YouTube channels regarding religious moderation and the power-knowledge relationship that influences it. It is motivated by the reality of religious moderation discourse, as informed by studying the Qur’an and its interpretation. It is shared through social media platforms, such as YouTube, and is used to disseminate various perspectives. By employing a qualitative descriptive method and Michel Foucault’s critical discourse analysis of the oral interpretations of four prominent figures in Indonesian society, this article concludes that the discourse on religious moderation in oral interpretations on YouTube operates within a knowledge power network involving Muslim individuals, countries, media, and communities. The interpretations conveyed by the four figures tend to normalize the understanding of religious moderation as part of the broader teachings of Islam, aligning with the agendas of the government, organizations, and the media. The narrative of religious moderation is constructed through the selection of verses, especially QS al-Baqarah: 143, a textual-contextual combination of interpreting and delivery that emphasizes tolerance and anti-extremism. It is interpreted in the Indonesian context, specifically as religious moderation, characterized by individuals who are tolerant, fair, respectful of one another, and not overly inclined or excessively devoted to their religion. However, the dichotomy between "moderate" and “its opponent” in this interpretation reveals the existence of ideological limits imposed by dominant actors, such that the discourse of moderation is not always neutral but functions as a tool of social and political regulation.

Abstract

Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia merupakan suatu gerakan organisasi transnasional dengan berlandaskan pada ideologi pan-Islamisme yang bertujuan untuk dapat mewujudkan negara khilafah sehingga dapat menerapkan segala hukum dalam suatu negara berdasarkan ajaran islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejarah latar belakang berdirinya Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia sehingga dapat memahami ideologi pemikirannya dan mendeskripsikan mobilitas atau pergerakan Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan model studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertama, latar belakang berdirinya Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia diawali dengan kehadiran Abdul Rahman al-Baghdadi sebagai anggota Hizbut Tahrir dari Yordania yang berdakwah dengan pendekatan ideologis dan intelektual dalam menyebarkan islam pada tahun 1983. Kedua, ideologi pemikiran Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia yakni berdasarkan konsep dasar, prespektif ideologis, landasan hukum serta metode perjuangan thariqah secara menyeluruh berdasarkan ajaran islam yang menjadikan Al-Qur’an sebagai sumber hukum pertama dan Al-Hadist sebagai sumber hukum kedua yang ditopang oleh yakni ijma’ sahabat dan qiyas dalam urusan pribadi, kelompok bahkan bernegara. Ketiga, mobilitas Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia bergerak dalam ruang lingkup demonstrasi terbuka, pelaksanaan seminar dan forum diskusi, penyebaran gagasan melalui media sosial, melakkan pendekatan kepada berbagai tokoh masyarakat dan lembaga-lembaga pendidikan sebagai bagian dari strategi dakwah dan perluasan pengaruh ideologis mereka

Abstract

The curriculum of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) has only accepted a few Indonesian translations of Qur'anic exegesis (tafsir), such as Marah Labid by Muhammad Nawawi al-Bantani and al-Ibriz by Bisri Mustofa. The acceptance of Indonesian tafsir does not align with its development in Indonesia. Technically, the pesantren community views Indonesian tafsir merely as translations into Indonesian. However, pragmatically, pesantren still acknowledge and accept Indonesian tafsir as mu'tabar (authoritative) works based on the chain of teachers (sanad), translation quality, and the exegete's competence. On the other hand, the pesantren community also rejects or remains cautious about the emergence of non-mu'tabar tafsir, the increasing number of Qur'anic translations driven by personal desires, and similar issues. Kurikulum pesantren hanya menerima sedikit karya tafsir Al-Qur'an berbahasa Indonesia, seperti Marah Labid karya Muhammad Nawawi al-Bantani dan al-Ibriz karya Bisri Mustofa. Penerimaan tafsir Indonesia ini tidak sebanding dengan perkembangan tafsir di Indonesia. Secara teknis, masyarakat pesantren memandang tafsir Indonesia sekadar terjemahan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Namun secara pragmatis, pesantren tetap mengakui dan menerima tafsir Indonesia sebagai karya yang mu'tabar (disepakati) berdasarkan sanad (mata rantai guru), kualitas terjemahan, dan kompetensi penafsir. Di sisi lain, masyarakat pesantren juga menolak atau mewaspadai munculnya tafsir yang tidak mu'tabar, peningkatan jumlah terjemahan Al-Qur'an yang dipengaruhi nafsu, dan sebagainya.
