Abstract

Extracurricular activities in elementary school are an additional program or activity to the mandatory learning process that students must have to develop talent skills and also shape students' character. Researchers use qualitative research methods. The subjects in this study were students at the Annur Islamic Integrated Elementary School, the population in this study was taken from grades three and four, totaling 36 students. From the results of interviews and data analysis, information was obtained that extracurricular activities are activities carried out outside of class hours or outside school hours. These activities are carried out to help develop students according to their needs, talents, interests and potential. Extracurricular activities whose interests depend on the elementary school, for example drawing, coloring, karate, Scouting, painting, and also for example in integrated Islamic schools such as Tahfidz, Arabic language, English language, art, and so on. in face-to-face or face-to-face interviews and documentation which can then be analyzed and concluded. The results of this research are that of the many extracurricular activities that students are most interested in, namely extracurricular tahfidz.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the teacher's paradigm of problems in learning from the perspective of early childhood. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subject of this research is Nur Toyyibah Kindergarten in Eka Jaya, Jambi City. The population in this study were all teachers who taught at Nur Toyyibah Kindergarten, totalling five people. In contrast, the sample in this study was four teachers at Nur Toyyibah Kindergarten, where the sample was taken using the kurtosis sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out using a multilevel interview technique where the results of the interviews were. Learning will be carried out from the most frequent to the lowest. The results of the study showed that the problem that often arises in learning in early childhood based on the teacher's paradigm is a fixation on the use of mobile phones. The use of mobile phones is the most common thing in early childhood at Nur Toyyibah Kindergarten.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze extroverted and introverted students using descriptive qualitative methods. Subject research was conducted with students in  SMPN 12 Sarolangun. The population of the object is in the form of counseling guidance teachers, as many as 152 people, and students. The research sample used is in the form of whole students with total sampling techniques. This research collects data through a questionnaire given to students with 15 questions, 6 for extrovert students and 9 for introvert students. Data was analyzed from the questionnaire results to determine which students are extroverted or introverted. The calculation is that each question is 100 points multiplied by The number of students who voted yes and divided by the overall number of students. From the data, The results of the study were known to 14 (26.92%) introverted students and 38 (73.08%) extroverted students.

Abstract

This research discusses how to improve discipline through counselling guidance services in the learning process at SMPN 1 Muaro Jambi from the point of view of the counselling guidance teachers and students. The type of research used is qualitative. The subject of this research is SMPN 1 Muaro Jambi, which consists of 6 classes, namely, VII A, VII B, VII C, VII D, VII E, VII F and three guidance and counselling teachers. These schools. The samples in this research were class VII F and 1 class VII counselling teacher using a purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique uses interviews, 15 interview questions for teachers and 25 interview questions for students, producing good interviews from teachers and students. These are sorted into the method of increasing discipline in the learning process. As for the research results, data was obtained that the technique for increasing specialisation in the learning process is through counselling guidance services, namely, dressing wholly and neatly (according to applicable school regulations), getting homework and checking homework, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the school environment.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of using the internet on social media on the learning process that focuses on early childhood. In this research, researchers used quantitative descriptive research methods. We specialize in this research to review or examine the general use of social media in early childhood, both its impact and existence at school. This research was conducted at Permata Ibu Kindergarten with a population of 18 students, nine boys, and nine girls, with a sample size of 18 students and one teacher using total sampling techniques. The instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of 15 questions. The research found that the internet in schools is still very low due to reasonably good management and school rules and also the role of parents who are very good and selective, where social media use is in the low category at 89%. In comparison, the medium category is 11%.

Abstract

This research examines the perspective of class teachers at SDN 105 Sidorukun regarding negative factors that influence students' interest in learning. So, this type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this research were class teachers at SDN 105 who taught or were assigned to the counseling guidance process. The data collection technique uses interview techniques, so the results of the interviews are described by ordering the largest to smallest negative factors that influence students' interest in learning. According to the class teacher's perspective, this study found that the most dominant negative factor influencing interest in learning was playing more actively than studying.

Abstract

This research aims to determine student motivation and learning outcomes after the passing of Covid-19. The type of research that researchers use is qualitative. The research subjects used were in 2 classes, namely VIa and VIb. the number of VIa students is 23 people and VIb 22 students, and the number of students from both classes is 45 people. The data analysis techniques used were questionnaires and interviews. The samples used using the saturated model were VIa and VIb, with a total sample of 45 students. Analysis of the questionnaire that we distributed to students obtained the following results: on average students who were motivated by gadgets were 30% and those who were not motivated were 15% and, student learning outcomes were 31% and those who were less motivated were 14%.

Abstract

TPACK-based textbooks are reference books containing a collection of material from certain branches of knowledge that are presented comprehensively using a combination of pedagogic technologies and content that are applied according to the learning context. Scientific literacy is the scientific ability possessed by students to solve various kinds of problems and explain scientific phenomena scientifically. Work and energy are physics materials closely related to students' daily lives. The method used for this research is to use research and development research and development methods. Based on the results of the latest and contextual material validation on the suitability of the material with the latest scientific developments, validator one scores four, and validator two scores 4. The 100% percentage results that meet the criteria are very valid. From the results of the validation assessment in terms of the average rating of each validator for the two validators, an average percentage result of 87.49% is obtained with very valid criteria. This shows that the TPACK-based physics textbook on the subject matter of work and energy is appropriate to be used as an Electronic School Book aid for students in understanding and mastering material about work and energy.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to develop and determine the feasibility and readability of learning media in Physics E-Modules interactive with a multi-representation approach to help students analyze the effect of heat and heat transfer class IX SMA. This e-module can be accessed online through computers, laptops and smartphones. Research and development uses the ADDIE model. The results showed that the product validation score was 3.53 for content validation and 3.76 for construct validation. The readability test of this E-Module is 96.41%, and it is included in the readability category so that the E-Module can be said to be feasible to use. The results of the validation and readability tests show that the product is feasible to use.
