Abstract

This study aims to reveal the extent to which distance learning during the Covid 19 pandemic has been effective and efficient, can distance learning achieve learning goals and can the figure of a teacher in the classroom be replaced with existing technology. Covid 19 the impact of the pandemic on education The existence of the corona virus has indeed hampered teaching and learning activities which usually take place face to face. However, there are major challenges in the implementation of the distance learning model. One of them, a teacher/lecturer is not used to using a mixed and fully online learning system. "Difficulties arose because they had not been trained to use the tools for the distance learning model. Hence the need for additional support and mentoring to adapt this new learning model.

Abstract

The application of the holistic education system at Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Institution for girls Campus 7, comprehensively covers all aspects of female life. Including disciplinary education that is applied to all aspects of female student activities. This study aims to determine the application of management carried out by the management of the Student Organization of Pondok Modern (OPPM) related to the cultivation of discipline to female students. In this study, the author used a qualitative approach, which collected data using observation methods, interviews with speakers directly related to the topic of the title, and documentation. Results of the study: 1) The application of organizational management covering all aspects of POACE (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling, Evaluating) is the main factor in the success of organizational administrators in instilling student discipline at Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Institution for girls Campus 7. 2) The existence of inhibiting and supporting factors in the cultivation of discipline through the management of the Student Organization of Pondok Modern (OPPM). While the results of the cultivation of discipline, all cottage activities can run smoothly, the number of disciplinary violations committed by santriwati can be minimized, besides that from an academic point of view there is an increase in the value of preliminary test results by 5% from the previous year. Penerapan system pendidikan holistic yang ada di Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Putri Kampus 7 secara komprehensif mencakup seluruh aspek kehidupan santriwati. Termasuk pendidikan disiplin yang di terapkan kedalam seluruh aspek kegiatan santriwati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan manajemen yang dilakukan oleh pengurus Organisasi Pelajar Pondok Modern (OPPM) terkait penanaman disiplin kepada santriwati. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, yang pengumpulan data-datanya dengan metode observasi, wawancara dengan narasumber yang berkaitan langsung dengan topik judul, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini: 1) Penerapan manajemen organisasi yang mencakup seluruh aspek POACE (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling, Evaluating) menjadi faktor utama kesuksesan para pengurus organisasi didalam menanamkan disiplin santriwati di Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Putri kampus 7. 2) Adanya faktor penghambat dan pendukung dalam penanaman disiplin melalui manajemen Organisasi Pelajar Pondok Modern (OPPM). Sedangkan hasil dari penanaman disiplin, seluruh kegiatan pondok dapat berjalan dengan lancar, jumlah pelanggaran disiplin yang dilakukan santriwati dapat diminimalisir, selain itu dari segi akademik adanya kenaikan nilai hasil muroja’ah 5% dari tahun sebelumnya.

Abstract

This article aims to reveal the managerial competence of Madrasah Heads in building teacher character at the Sungai Manau Private Madrasah Aliyah. This article comes from qualitative-descriptive research, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model. The research results show that the managerial competence of Madrasah Heads is carried out by developing teacher character, namely religious character, leadership and togetherness. The obstacles encountered by Madrasah Heads were the large number of foundation honorary teachers and arrears in payments for educational development donations. However, several efforts have been made by the Head of the Madrasah, including; creating a harmonious atmosphere among teachers, finding out what obstacles teachers face in building character, involving teachers in various teacher character developments, and always providing motivation to teachers, both reward and punishment. Artikel ini bertujuan mengungkap kompetensi manajerial Kepala Madrasah dalam membangun karakter guru di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Sungai Manau. Artikel ini berasal dari penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis datanya menggunakan model Miles and Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi manajerial Kepala Madrasah  dijalankan dengan melakukan pengembangan karakter guru yaitu karakter religius, leadership, dan kebersamaan. Adapun kendala yang ditemui Kepala Madrasah yakni banyaknya guru honorer yayasan dan penunggakan pembayaran sumbangan pembinaan pendidikan. Namun demikian, beberapa upaya yang telah dilakukan oleh Kepala Madrasah antara lain; mengkondisikan suasana yang harmonis di antara para guru, mencari tahu apa saja kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam membangun karakter, mengikutsertakan guru dalam berbagai pengembangan karakter guru, serta senantiasa memberikan motivasi terhadap guru baik reward maupun punishment.

Abstract

In the backdrop of Indonesia's diverse poleksosbud landscape, the management of Islamic education stands out as a significant factor influencing the nation's fabric. This research was embarked upon with the objective of elucidating the interrelation between Islamic education management and the political, economic, social, and cultural dimensions in Indonesia. A qualitative research approach was chosen, primarily focusing on a literature review to draw insights. The findings revealed that the management of Islamic educational institutions both impacts and is reciprocally influenced by the prevailing poleksosbud conditions. Effective management of these institutions can foster a harmonious integration of these dimensions, thereby contributing to the holistic development of the nation. It's concluded that a balanced appreciation and application of Islamic education management principles are essential for the prosperous and cohesive growth of Indonesian society.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of social change on the management of Islamic education in Indonesia. The method used is using qualitative exploration. The result obtained is that social-social change is a side effect of changes in social design and social examples with social demand. Islamic education plays a major role in change for the better, because Islamic education has formed individuals who have self-confidence, ethical quality, foster personality, establish social relationships, are sincerely and deeply healthy, so they are able to protect themselves and will try to bring about change. on society. We also see an increase in knowledge and innovation in social change lies in management, especially the management of Islamic education because of changes in the eyes of society, so there are many hopes for schools/madrasas that focus on the direction of science and innovation. Where people need educational organizations that keep up with progress in education management so that they can provide the best graduates.

Abstract

The Indonesian government has implemented various regulations to suppress the Covid-19 case. The majority of these policies limit mass activities, such as education. Thus, online education policies were initiated via various platforms with the need for access via the internet. However, military education institutions such as Secapa AD require face-to-face interactions and field-based learning to obtain appropriate learning outcomes. Therefore, a special policy was created for Diktukpassus T.A. 2021 which briefly has a quarantine period at the beginning of education. This period was filled with online learning. Various challenges, both external and internal, must arise. This research will reveal the opinions of students and teachers regarding the implementation of online learning using the interview and FGD methods. In the end, the respondents' sentiments led to the choice of studying offline rather than online. However, respondents also felt that online learning had a positive side and room for growth.

Abstract

Islamic educational institutions have become a forum for developing meaningful educational values at present and in the future, following society and advances in science and technology. Muslim educational institutions engage in various aspects of life, such as economics, investment, and academic planning. To help improve education quality, education managers must continually enrich their knowledge and skills relevant to their work. Education growth will affect the economic development of a nation and vice versa; economic growth will affect education. Investment in education will significantly encourage sustainable economic development, which also requires organized planning to build solid Islamic educational institutions to produce competitive outputs.

Abstract

The use of virtual reality (VR) technology in Islamic Religious Education learning in schools has become an interesting topic to improve students’ understanding of religious concepts. This study explores the impact of virtual reality (VR) technology in simulating religious pilgrimage on students’ understanding of religious concepts and teachers’ perceptions. The research conducted used a case study design with a qualitative approach. The research setting was purposively selected at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 1 Kota Bengkulu. The subjects in this study were Islamic Religious Education teachers and students. The data in this study were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity testing in this study was carried out using the triangulation test method. Data analysis in this study adopted a descriptive approach involving several stages, namely data condensation, data presentation, and data conclusion drawing and verification. The results showed: that first, there was a positive acceptance from students towards using Virtual Reality (VR) technology in simulating religious pilgrimage, with many students feeling an enchanting and immersive experience. Second, VR plays a significant role in improving students’ understanding of religious concepts, especially in understanding the historical context and spiritual meaning of holy places. Third, Islamic religious education teachers have a positive perception of the use of VR in learning. The teachers see VR as a tool for increasing student engagement and expanding the learning experience.

Abstract

Keberadaan sumber daya manusia merupakan bagian integral dalam kehidupan suatu madrasah. Karena masing-masing sumber daya manusia mempunyai peranan yang strategis. Oleh sebab itu pembinaan terhadap personal yang ada menjadi tanggung jawab kepala madrasah sebagai pimpinan tertinggi di suatu madrasah. Konsekuensinya setiap kepala madrasah harus memahami benar mengenai lingkup atau dimensi-dimensi kepegawaian. Banyak masalah yang tidak terpisahkan dari kehidupan madrasah sebagai organisasi. Masalah-masalah itu mencakup beberapa aspek seperti mendefinisikan tujuan, menentukan kebijaksanaan, mengembangkan program, mempekerjakan orang, pengadaan fasilitas, mencapai hasil dan mengkoordinasikan kegiatan-kegiatan yang terpisah-pisah. Pada tingkat Madrasah, pihak yang paling kompeten dalam pemberdayaan SDM adalah Kepala Madrasah (Kamad). Kepala madrasah sebagai pemimpin di madrasah yang mengelola anggota kelompoknya untuk mencapai tujuan lembaga. Pengembangan SDM harus dilihat oleh Kamad sebagai suatu yang esensial bahwa semua staf berhak belajar untuk melakukan pekerjaan lebih baik. Sebaliknya pengembangan SDM bukan sebagai proses remedial, dimana staf perlu diperbaiki. Dengan demikian pengembangan SDM ini adalah untuk siapa saja, baik yang merasa sudah maupun (apalagi) yang belum baik kinerjanya. Manajemen sumber daya manusia (MSDM) adalah teknik atau prosedur yang berhubungan dengan pengelolaan dan pendayagunaan personalia sekolah/madrasah, baik tenaga edukatif maupun tenaga administratif secara efektif dan efisien banyak tergantung pada kemampuan kepala sekolah/madrasah baik sebagai manager dan pemimpin pada lembaga pendidikan tersebut. Salah satu cara pengembangan sumber daya manusia dalam pendidikan adalah dengan cara pengembangan tenaga kependidikan dan pengembangan kepala sekolah.

Abstract

Artikel Analisis Manajemen Pendidikan: Akreditasi, Kepemimpinan dan Budgeting. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan menggunakan aplikasi IBM SPSS 26 unntuk menganalisis data. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 49 responden dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 responden. Dalam menentukan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu Simple Random Sampling. Uji yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Uji T, Uji F dan Uji Koefisien Determinasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu: 1) Akreditasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Manajemen Pendidikan; 2) Kepemimpinan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Manajemen Pendidikan; 3) Budgeting berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Manajemen Pendidikan; dan 4) Akreditasi, Kepemimpinan dan Budgeting secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Manajemen Pendidikan.
