Abstract

This public service activity was executedto generate the excitement of housewifes to improve the household economics condition. It is believed that everyone was their own strength for instance the ability in cooking, making crafts, gardening, and so on. But many people do not realize that those could be developed to reach better life. The method is in the form of counselling about the importance of housewif’s role in improving the household economic condition, skills, followed by training in designing appropriate business in accordance with their capabilities and skills. It includes the examples of creative products that can be practiced by housewifesbased on their talent and interests.

Abstract

Hepatitis B still becomes a big health problem in many countries including Indonesia. Transmission of the disease by the hepatitis B virus easily occurs. The virus can be identified in most of the body fluids such as saliva, semen, breast milk and serous cavity fluid. Every person has the risk of contracting Hepatitis B. The people do not realize that they are infected by the Hepatitis B virus, because their health is still in good condition and can transmit it to others. And for the patients, their condition can be worse because it can develop into chronic infection that can cause to cirrhosis and liver cancer. The purpose of the examination of the HBsAg for the people in Rt.06 of Sukajaya is to know how their health status concerning Hepatitis B infection. The method of this activity is carried out in a survey to determine the number of people as well as of their knowledge about Hepatitis B, and then will be held the examination of the HBsAg.The result of the examination of 44 people are known to all negative, but a survey of 185 people as many as 174 people are less aware of the danger of Hepatitis B virus. Therefore, it urges to give valuable information about the disease, and giving vaccination for people who do not have immunity power to exist Hepatitis B virus is highly recommended.

Abstract

The low productivity of women was influenced by the limitance of knowledge (horizon) and skill they had. On the other hand, the economy of family became problem which was heavier by the higher cost of living. Knowing this, we, the lecturers of Business and Accounting Faculty, were interested to share our knowledge to help them to have value added for the economy of their family. The materials given were made according to the needs of a women entrepreneur such as the development of enterpreneur creativity, bases of tax, and socialization of Tax Amnesty. While we also gave them go green skill to manage the waste of plasted (straw) to be artistic products such as flowers, bag, etc. From this training the participant could get horizon, knowledge, and skill to make them as qualified enterpreneur. The materials were given in the form of copy and were delivered in simple and easily understood, while for the skill of making the handicraft of the straw was given and practiced directly by the participants. The interactions as questions and answers in this training would make all the participants really involved and understood.

Abstract

Abstract

Untuk memahami perubahan zat yang terkandung dalam jenis substansi dan sifat zat maka perlu kajian mendalam terhadap konsep tersebut. Dalam konsep ini diharapkan dapat memahami perubahan objek seperti jenis zat dan karakteristik zat. Jenis zat dan karakteristik zat melalui perubahan fisik dan perubahan kimia serta sarana pemisahan terdiri dari dua atau lebih zat. Prinsip pemisahan campuran didasarkan pada perbedaan sifat fisik konstituennya, seperti zat, ukuran partikel, titik leleh, titik didih, sifat magnetik, kelarutan, dan sebagainya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul perubahan berbasis web pada objek yang valid, praktis, dan memiliki keefektifan hasil belajar siswa dan kegiatan pembelajaran ilmu alam. Percobaan dilakukan terhadap 30 anak di Sumatera Selatan. Kasus pengembangan modul pembelajaran perubahan objek dipengaruhi oleh pemahaman anak terhadap konsep. Diharapkan bisa diadaptasi oleh guru dunia.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus caused by reduced insulin levels in the blood, then the blood sugar can not be processed into energy consequently blood sugar levels will increase excessively. Excessive sugar will damage the blood vessels, because sugar can not be processed into energy in people with Diabetes Mellitus. Then the energy must be made from other sources such as fat and protein. As a result, cholesterol that forms in the metabolic chain of fat and proteins can accumulate and threaten blood vessels. atherosclerosis will attack almost all blood vessels, especially peripheral vessel tissue, this is the basis of the emergence of various complications of Diabetes Mellitus. Examination of cholesterol levels in blood was conducted at Sukarami Village office on February 11, 2017. Of 40 people examined there were 14 people with cholesterol levels above 200 mg / dl. Abstract

The BUMDes Ngingas Makmur Abadi incinerator is a new product created by the management to become a mainstay product and can provide benefits for BUMDes. From a deeper angel, this product still requires a lot of touches so that the commercialization process and the production process of this incinerator product can run perfectly. The triple helix concept is used to analyze the involvement of each element in the commercialization process and the production process of this incinerator product. The elements involved are Ngingas Village Government, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) – Surabaya and PT. Boma Bisma Indra (Persero). The results of the analysis show that each element has had a role in the commercialization process and the production process of this incinerator product. However, there are still many roles that can be developed and explored from each element so that the commercialization process and the production process of this incinerator product can be better.

Abstract

Stroke disebabkan karena seseorang mengalami penyakit tidak menular salah satunya adalah hipertensi dimana penyakit ini menjadi ancaman kesehatan masyarakat. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mencegahnya adalah dengan melakukan senam anti stroke. Hasil studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan dengan wawancara pada 21 lansia dengan hipertensi di RT 12 Kelurahan Sukodadi Kecamatan Sukarame Palembang, mengatakan ingin mengetahui tentang tindakan yang dapat dilakukan supaya tidak terkena stroke. Ada 10 pasien hipertensi di RT 12 yang mengatakan pernah dirawat di RS karena hipertensi sampai terserang stroke ringan. Penderita hipertensi yang mempunyai tekanan darah > 170 mmHg mengungkapkan bahwa pasien melakukan diet dengan cara mengurangi garam. Diharapkan penyuluhan kesehatan dan pelaksanaan senam anti stroke dapat mengontrol tekanan darah pada lansia sehingga akan mengurangi risiko terjadinya stroke. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan metode promotif dan preventif, dengan pemberdayaan masyarakat, melalui pendampingan kader kesehatan. Tim dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini merupakan dosen Prodi Pendidikan Profesi Ners STIK Bina Husada dengan mitra Kader Kesehatan yang ada di RT 12 Kelurahan Sukodadi Kecamatan Sukarame Palembang. Dari hasil evaluasi terlihat bahwa kader kesehatan dan para lansia antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan penyuluhan dan pelaksanaan senam anti stroke dari awal sampai akhir. Dari hasil tanya jawab yang dilakukan moderator setelah penyampaian materi penyuluhan dan demonstrasi senam anti stroke ditemukan bahwa para lansia sudah memahami tentang senam anti stroke dan dapat mempraktekkan dengan benar gerakan senam anti stroke. Melalui pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, diharapkan dapat memberikan sentuhan pengetahuan terkait dengan penyakit yang diderita oleh mereka sehingga mereka dapat melakukan tindakan pencegahan supaya tidak terjadi komplikasi

Abstract

The rapid development of internet media, makes people are required to be more creative and innovative in using internet media and designing their product promotion designs, in this case visual designs in the form of product photos that are quite interesting and creative. This is due to the emergence of competition that emphasizes creativity and innovation in promotional and marketing activities for the public using the internet as a means to carry out their promotional, marketing and transaction activities. This ability is still very low for members of community groups, especially community groups in Rempoah Village, Banyumas Regency. This is what motivates the community activity implementation team to provide “Design Photography” training using existing, affordable and easy-to-obtain equipment and produce product photos that match their needs in carrying out promotions. This training is carried out by providing theoretical material, followed by direct field practice, where participants apply the knowledge related to product photography that has been conveyed previously. From this training, participants gain new knowledge on how to make attractive product photos using the tools they already have. Abstract

One form of implementation of community service activities is the implementation of real work lectures, this must be carried out in order to realize the tri dharma of higher education. Since the discovery of Covid-19 until it spread widely in early 2020, it resulted in a global pandemic that is still ongoing today, thus making many parties participate in overcoming the spread of this outbreak. One of the real forms of higher education in tackling the pandemic is the Community Service Program-PPM activity, in this case the University of Tridinanti Palebang whose KKN activities are in the location of the Sematang Borang District, Palembang City with the aim of providing social education to the community in the fields of pandemic prevention, socio-cultural, socio-economic , socio-religious. The method of implementing the program is Field Research, field research with qualitative descriptive studies, with socialization of training and management of healthy and dynamic life, social service work in places of worship, schools, public facilities, and providing assistance for cleaning and worship equipment. The results of the service show that there is an increase in public awareness and concern for the COVID-19 pandemic, the application of a healthy lifestyle, mutual cooperation, and an increase in community welfare through creative economic development.
