Abstract

The purpose of community service activities can provide knowledge in the form of information and increase understanding regarding the importance of cooperative financial statements prepared and made professionally. Cooperative financial reports can be said to be healthy if the financial management of the reports made is managed according to cooperative accounting standards. The method of implementing the Socialization of Cooperative Financial Reports in the Cooperative Unit of Muara Penimbung Ogan Ilir Village is in the form of lectures and discussions. The results obtained by the participants or members of the cooperative who participated in the socialization were very enthusiastic about listening to the lectures that the team delivered regarding the cooperative's financial statements. And the importance of Community Service activities in 2021 for the participants or members of the Muara Penimbung Ogan Ilir Village Unit Cooperative.

Abstract

The community service carried out takes the object of stakeholders from the Cempaka EducationCenter Foundation, which is located at Jl. Indokilo RT. 07, RW. 02, Gamoh Hamlet, DayurejoVillage, Prigen District, East Java. Based on the social analysis conducted through theobservation and interview stages, it was found that they were unable to find the right way ofrecording cash disbursements, especially if someone took the money first without bringingevidence in the form of a note. The implementation of this activity is carried out using aparticipatory method in the form of mentoring which requires a commitment from each member torealize independence and sustainability in the implementation of activities. Mentoring activitiesare divided into two stages, namely: (1) the design stage of the temporary bill; and (2) theimplementation phase of the temporary bill form. In the implementation phase there is also anevaluation through feedback from the stakeholders of the Cempaka Education Center Foundationregarding the format of the temporary bill that has been designed. This activity has limited timedue to the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) caused by the Covid-19Pandemic. The activity plan for the first phase has been 100% implemented, it is hoped that in thefuture it can be continued with other Financial Report assistance needed by stakeholders of theCempaka Education Center Foundation.

Abstract

The current trend of the digital era gives an indication of opportunities for community economic empowerment. Through data on the increase in the percentage of internet and social media users in Indonesia, justification is made for the formation of an interactive-transactional activity system. In this system, individuals are socially bound to share information and knowledge. This is the basis of a community-based economic empowerment approach where the interactive-transactional activity system in the collective formation is “intervened” through various activities of economic value to form the socio-economic capital of the community. This approach was used by the Community Service Team of the Musi Charitas Catholic University in Palembang through the “Training for Making Coffee-Scented Bath Soap” with 50 (fifty) community partners affiliated with a Catholic Church socio-religious organization in Banyu Urip Village, Tanjung Laga District. , Banyu Asin Regency, South Sumatra. The results of the activity are in the form of increasing: (1) Awareness of individual participatory and contributing in organizational membership (social aspect); (2) the capacity of creativity to find new objects of economic value (creative economic aspects), and ; (3) Commitment to share knowledge that is directed to the formation of social capital for creative communities (socio-economic aspects).

Abstract

In facing the new normal era, one of the things that must be improved by vocational school students is soft skills in the field of management, namely character building, as well as preparation for entering the online-oriented world of work is increasing the use of English in social media, especially to become independent entrepreneurs. This is the purpose of the service activities carried out by the UKMC team which were carried out at the SMK Xaverius Palembang vocational school on April 22, 2022 and May 13, 2022. The activity begins with understanding the material through lectures, followed by training and practice in class both individually and in groups. . The final result that is expected is that Xaverius Palembang Vocational School students can recognize personal characters through character building and use good English in social media so that they can become provisions in preparing for a better future.

Abstract

Cancer is a non-contagious chronic disease that affects physical, psychological, social and spiritual conditions, and in terminal conditions it requires assistance in fulfilling hygiene. Community empowerment by the Yayasan Kanker Indonesia in the DKI Jakarta Region through the formation of a cancer palliative health cadre. Dedication activities for 85 Jakarta palliative health cadres and divided into two periods: the first period is on 5 until 8 November 2019 with 43 people and the second period on 12 until 15 November 2019 and followed by 42 people, at 08.00 a.m. – 17.00 p.m. The activity aims to provide basic knowledge and skills in caring for cancer patients to be able to provide care, referral and reporting of cancer patients in their area. The method used lectures, simulations and demonstrations is divided into six groups each period. As a result all participants took part in the full activities with satisfying results with Good scores for all the skills tested. In conclusion, training for cancer palliative cadres needs to be provided with a small group so that participants can practice all the skills and can be evaluated directly by the facilitator.

Abstract

Para migran perantau Timor Leste berada di daerah Sungai Jarum dan Sungai Lilin Kabupaten Banyuasin Sumatera Selatan. Kehidupan mereka yang masih harus berpindah-pindah untuk mencari kehidupan yang lebih baik dengan menjadi pekerja atau buruh di daerah perantauan. Sebagai perantau tentunya mereka tidak mempunyai pekerjaan dan tempat tinggal yang tetap, mereka tinggal di mess pabrik atau di perkebunan kelapa sawit. Maka hidup kemasyarakatan dan pergaulan mereka pada umumnya terbatas pada lingkungan kerja. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan anak-anak terbatas dalam minat, bakat dan kreativitas. Unika Musi Charitas, saat ini memiliki sumber daya manusia yang dapat dilibatkan dalam mencari solusi terkait masalah anak para migran Timor Leste. Oleh sebab itu, tim dosen UKMC mengusulkan suatu kegiatan yang diharapkan dapat memberikan jawaban dari masalah yang dihadapi saat ini. Pembekalan bagi anak para migran dari Timor Leste ini rencananya akan dilakukan dalam kegiatan tersebut. Abstract

Among other things, the teacher's tasks include planning and implementing the process of teaching and learning activities and evaluating student learning outcomes. The role of the teacher in learning is the educator, the model, and the instructor and tutor. Learning success is measured based on the achievement of competencies established since the beginning of the learning activities. Learning assistance at MA NW Lepak, which has been carried out by the PPM Hamzanwadi University team can increase student motivation, it is seen from 65% of students in the category of high and very high learning motivation. Learning outcomes increase after mentoring, viewed from learning outcomes with an increasing trend. The distribution of student learning outcomes in the excellent category from 17% increased to 26%, and the good category from 30% to 32%. Whereas for students whose categories failed to drop from 9% to 0%.

Abstract

Financial literacy education from an early age makes a person organize and plan finances will be better for the future. A person's ability in financial planning is not learned in formal education but this education is very important and inherent individually. Someone who have knowledge about financial planning in the future can be obtained through an education. The purpose of this service was to provide financial knowledge education to students of SMK Negeri 3 Palembang. The form of dedication was counseling and opening up the insights of personal finance since early as a student. This service was held on Wednesday 30 November 2019 at 13.00 pm in the Meeting Room of SMK Negeri 3 Palembang. The results of devotion activities Students of SMK Negeri 3 Palembang understand about financial literacy, smart to manage of finance, investing, saving. The practical implications of this activity Students of SMK Negeri 3 Palembang could to applied the results of activities in daily life including saving lives, creating surplus cash flow.

Abstract

Partners in the implementation of community service are Muhammadiyah 2 Middle School, Muhammadiyah 1 Aliyah Madrasah School, Muhammadiyah 2 Middle School, Muhammadiyah 1 Tsanawiah Madrasah School and Muhammadiayah Elementary School 1. These schools are under the supervision of the Muhammadiyah Bukit Kecil Branch Palembang. Based on the analysis of the situation, it can be identified several problems faced by partners such as the knowledge possessed by the school treasurer in the use of accounting information systems, and the process of preparing financial statements is also very limited. The service implementation method consists of two stages. The first, step is to arrange material, namely basic accounting and accounting information systems. The second stage conducts training and coaching, to producing financial reports. Results and discussion, community service activities are carried out by means of training and assistance. The community service activities were carried out for the five partners, also involved a treasurer of the Palembang Muhammadiyah Branch Manager. This activity began with conducting a field survey for the stage of preparing the work plan. This activity resulted in an agreement with the principal included in the partner and the Muhammadiyah Palembang Branch Manager, which conducted training on the preparation of financial statements, and trained to develop potential treasurers using the school's financial accounting information system. The conclusions of community service activities are as follows: a) has been running well and smoothly, b) increasing the ability of treasurers of the Muhammadiyah School in Bukit Kecil to use accounting information systems and compile school financial reports..

Abstract

Karang Bindu Village is one of the villages in Rambang Kapak Tengah District, Prabumulih, where most of the people have a livelihood as rubber farmers. Health care facilities in Karang Bindu Village are increasingly limited, only puskesmas are available and besides the cost of treatment is also increasingly expensive. There are several organizations in Karang Bindu Village among other Women Farmers Groups. However, the role of Women Farmers Groups in Karang Bindu Village is still not optimal compared to other villages. This can be seen from the addition of the use of the yard. Counseling about rural agribusiness for Women Farmer Groups in Karang Bindu Village is expected to provide knowledge about types of medicinal plants and their benefits, increase knowledge of procedures for growing Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA), provide knowledge about marketing and provide knowledge of making simple financial statements.
