Abstract

Abstract

With the existence of e-commerce, it is very helpful in terms of sales and also the ease of purchasing transactions for sellers considering this unsupportive situation. People must also be smart in using information technology in order to survive or rise from the difficulties they face. Sales also increased with the e-commerce of several available applications. This community service activity aims to provide training on sales using e-commerce in order to increase sales during the current COVID-19 pandemic. This activity is aimed at MSMEs in the Sukajaya Village area with a maximum of 15 participants. However, what was given to visit only 12 participants for a period of more than 1 month was given for training given after evaluation of progress in 2 visits (31 August-28 September 2021). The visit was in the form of providing training materials which were given 2 times. The main obstacle is the limited knowledge of participants for some participants regarding the usefulness of e-commerce and its application. The results of this activity after being given training they are interested in using e-commerce as their tool to promote sales and also help them increase sales by using e-commerce.

Abstract

The COVID-19 virus has had a significant impact on businesses. Both household business actors, small and medium businesses and businesses in an even larger scope. As one of the government's efforts to control the occurrence of a significant impact, the enactment of policies that support business actors to survive and also funding assistance that can be absorbed directlyThis service aims to provide understanding and knowledge as well as related activity cost management to be implemented as a provision in identifying costs attached to products, especially songket products at Songket SMEs in Muara Penimbung Ilir. Sriwijaya University through the service program did not escape participating in efforts to reduce the impact of Covid-19 for business actors by attracting villages in Inderalaya District, especially Muara Penimbung Village which is a fostered village of Sriwijaya University. Muara Penimbung Ilir Village is a village that is familiar with songket craftsmen. This service is carried out using several stages, namely the preparation stage, the core activity stage, and the monitoring and evaluation stage. As for this service activity, it concludes that the diversity of educational backgrounds and community livelihoods is one of the factors that Muara Penimbung Village requires attention in order to survive in the Covid 19 Pandemic Era, especially for Songket business actors. Lack of knowledge related to cost management makes it difficult for business actors to control costs and have not been able to identify costs that have added value and do not have added value for their products and which activity costs are attached to these products so that they are able to contribute to determining the selling price.Based on the results of our dedication in a series of stages, songket business actors have been able to understand and identify value-added and non-value-added costs and have tried to take into account related costs that can be considered to add value to their products.

Abstract

Community Service Activities are carried out by the team and partners in an online form using zoom. The zoom link is prepared by the partner. Providing material on "Financial Planning Training: The Importance of Family Financial Education" is important considering that one of the problems in the family is financial problems. The partner of this service, namely the Family Commission of the Dean 1 of the Archdiocese of Palembang, entrusted this material to a team of lecturers from the Faculty of Business and Accounting, Musi Charitas Catholic University, Palembang. This training was attended by 56 participants from various parishes, but 45 participants filled out the questionnaire distributed by the team. Financial Planning Training: The Importance of Family Financial Education has been going well, and partners also expressed their gratitude for holding this activity, and hoped that similar activities would be held again. The targets (output targets) in this activity were also quite achieved, with an increase in correct answers after participants attended the training.

Abstract

The aim of this community service activity is to provide assistance to partners, namely SMA Sjahkyakirti and other high school / vocational students in the city of Palembang as well as students with entrepreneurial Student Activity Units (UKM). The development of MSMEs in Indonesia provides opportunities for young people to be independent and develop their own businesses. However, this is not easy due to several factors such as the lack of knowledge about entrepreneurship and the difficulty of obtaining business capital. The assistance provided is in the form of training and providing insight into entrepreneurial motivation and knowledge related to making financial reports using the Cash Book application. Effective business records can create adequate financial reports and in the end are expected to gain the trust of debtors. The techniques used in this activity are virtual seminars, questions and answers, and discussions.

Abstract

Learning media is an important part of learning facilities and infrastructure in schools to help students not only learn abstractly but also concretely. According to Faizal (2010), learning media as audio and visual instruments are used to help the learning process become more interesting and arouse students' interest in exploring a material. However, in reality it is often found in schools that learning media is very limited and not many teachers are interested and creative in making learning media. They are many reasons such as limited funds, time, knowledge, and the reluctance of teachers to make learning media. Therefore it is necessary to equip teachers in making easy and cheap ICT-based learning media. This training was given to teachers at the YPAC school in Palembang who were in great need. The targets and outputs of this activity are to produce simple learning media for children with special needs and to train teachers' creativity in making and using these learning media. The basic training by a team of lecturers at the SI and PGSD Study Program at Musi Charitas Catholic University is the first step to stimulate interest and collaboration between teachers to be more creative in making simple ICT-based learning media as well as expanding teacher knowledge. The training is provided in the form of basic training in making simple learning media for children with special needs and how to use them in learning. The methods used are lectures, questions and answers, demonstrations, and experiments. Hopefully, all participants have sufficient skills to create learning media according to student characteristics.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to increase income at Panhead Cafe which is a culinary business that was opened just at the time of the co-19 pandemic. The method used is a participatory approach such as focus group discussions, interviews, consultation, determining solutions, conducting training and evaluating and monitoring. The digital marketing strategy chosen is social media marketing by creating a Panhead Cafe account on Instagram, Facebook and online ordering media panheadcafe.antarinmakan.com. The results of the activity can be seen with an increase in take away sales after creating an account on social media and online ordering media. Abstract

Women have a very large role in the family. Today the role of women is not just a career, childeducator, caring for her husband and home, but also must play a role in managing familyfinances. The higher awareness of quality of life leads women to become more involved infinancial management and even become the second breadwinner subject after the husband. Thistraining is an early stage training that provides participants with basic knowledge about theimportance of spiritual in supporting work performance, knowledge about health,entrepreneurial motivation, understanding of finance, and skills in processing fabric waste.

Abstract

One of the ways of teachers professionalism is they have a competency for academic writing, especially class action research (CAR). Teachers in three elementary schools, SDN Kedokan, SDN Cibogo, and SDN Mekar Wangi, at Cisauk, Tangerang, West Java, faced obstacles to write the result of CAR because they still don’t understand how to write. Besides that, they have no spirit raise their promotion because, according to them, very difficult to fulfill the requirements. The aim of this activity is giving a training about academic writing for them. The activity began with the pretest to know their knowledge of academic writing. Training used a tutorial method, discussion, writing practice, and simulation around six hours, a day. After training, the teachers have given posttest. The result of this activity indicates that teachers have an increase of knowledge in the middle level.

Abstract

Mathematics is a special discipline that is often considered a difficult discipline by many people. Many people are afraid and try to avoid math. Mathematics requires special methods and tools so that math is interesting and not scary and students can achieve maximum and high quality learning outcomes. One of those tools is an instructional media that we call props. Basically, simple mathematical props do not have to buy and be expensive. Even elementary school children can be trained to make simple mathematical props so that their creativity is sharpened and math learning becomes more interesting. With experimental methods, lectures and discussions, children can be guided to make these simple mathematical props. It turns out that children can produce good props. Furthermore, mathematics lessons are more interesting and hope they master math with satisfying results.
