Abstract

Young women are said to have entered the puberty phase, one of which is marked by menstruation. Menstruation is actually a natural, progressive and positive biological symptom as a biological sign of sexual maturity. So this incident should be accepted with a reasonable attitude. However, menstruation usually has disorders, one of which is premenstrual disorder which is usually called Premenstrual Syndrome. The impact that arises due to PMS symptoms is that female students lose interest in doing activities and sleep more during class. The female student explained that the stress she experienced was usually due to a large load of lessons and school assignments, interactions with peers, and personal problems. Providing good knowledge to support their readiness in dealing with PMS to increase the knowledge of young women. The results of the t-test carried out showed that the value increased after the introduction and prevention of pre-menstrual syndrome. From these results it can be proven that counseling or providing education has a positive impact, namely increasing the average knowledge of teenagers about Premestrual Syndrome

Abstract

Setabelan Village, located in Banjarsari Sub-district, is one of the four working areas of the Setabelan Health Center. The village experiences a high incidence of Osteoarthritis knee cases in elderly women, with 28 cases per month and 246 cases per year. The main complaint among patients is knee pain. To address this issue, a program was implemented to educate and provide understanding on how to manage knee osteoarthritis, as well as home-based exercise. The program involved counseling sessions on osteoarthritis knee health promotion, using leaflets as a counseling medium. The target participants were the elderly members of Pos Lansia Wijaya Kusuma. The author conducted a pre-test and post-test to evaluate the participants’ level of understanding. The results showed a significant increase in understanding, with the participants’ average questionnaire score increasing from 1.57 in the pre-test to 5.57 in the post-test. This indicates a 4.00 increase in understanding among the participants of Pos Lansia Wijaya Kusuma.

Abstract

The research aims to improve children's speech skills through the implementation of image media learning at Raudhatul Athfal Al-Huda in Tonang River Village. The research method used is class action research (PTK) with Kemmis and McTaggart models. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation. The results of the study show that the implementation of the learning method of image media has a positive impact on children's speaking skills. There was a significant improvement in children's ability to describe objects in detail and specifically as well as in describing images. More than 89% of students achieved a significant improvement in speech skills after following this guidance. In conclusion, the implementation of image media learning is effective in improving speaking skills in Raudhatul Athfal Al-Huda, Tonang River Village. The suggestion of this study is to continue the application of this method by considering the needs and development of children in developing speech skills to improve language teaching approaches at an early age.

Abstract

Pajang is a locality in Kota Surakarta's Kecamatan Laweyan. Osteoarthritis is the most prevalent lansia disease in Kelurahan Pajang. Osteoarthritis lutut is a degenerative condition that affects the persendian that affects the kartilago, lapisan sendi, ligamen, and tulang such that it can cause nyeri and kekakuan in the sendi. The goals of a physical therapy program for osteoarthritis are to educate patients and demonstrate exercise therapy to improve nyeri and slow the progression of keluhan. This method employs teaching, demonstration, and penyuluhan (ceramah and tanya jawab) methods to discuss exercise regimens for osteoarthritis with Posyandu Lansia Mawar's consent. After providing education in physical therapy and demonstrating therapeutic techniques, the results included the discovery of any keluhan nyeri lutut on the lansia. We anticipate that the outcomes of this initiative to provide feedback to the public will serve as a benchmark for other professions in physical therapy or other fields of health care.

Abstract

Introduction: Hypertension, also known as essential or primary hypertension, has unknown causes. However, there are also cases of hypertension caused by other diseases known as secondary hypertension. Method: The method used is health education related to hypertension and home-based education on hypertension exercises at the elderly community center in Rw 14, Mojosongo Village. Objective: This program aims to increase knowledge and understanding of the definition, factors, and prevention of hypertension by engaging in physical activities such as hypertension exercises specifically tailored for the old adult and in appropriate doses. Results: The result of this health education activity is an increased understanding among old adults about the definition, factors, and prevention of hypertension, as well as the importance of engaging in physical activities. Recommendation: A structured follow-up of this community service activity is needed so that the community can adhere to a healthy lifestyle, thereby reducing complaints and the incidence of hypertension-related diseases.

Abstract

The problems often experienced by Small and Medium Enterpises (SMEs) in Indro Village are inappropriate marketing strategies and less attractive packaging. The aim of carrying out this Real Work Lecture (KKN) community service activity is to increase understanding of the importance of packaging and marketing aspects of charcoal briquette products among SMEs in Indro Village. In its implementation, it is carried out using a direct counseling and training method approach to SMEs actors which consists of four stages, namely observation, counseling, training and mentoring, and evaluation. From the evaluation results, it was found that the women in Indro Village already understood the material presented, and training and assistance for creative packaging could also be followed well. However, 4 out of 10 people experience difficulties in creating Instagram content. This is due to age and lack of familiarity with social media tools.

Abstract

Community service was carried out at the Tresno Mukti Nursing Home with several activities including providing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Questionnaires, providing Physical Activity Therapy Education. The total population at the Tresno Mukti Werdha Nursing Home is 23 elderly people, with the condition of the body being able to walk independently without needing assistance tools or other people a total of 11 elderly people, with disabilities with a total of 9 elderly people, bedressed with 3 elderly people who know the elderly. Outreach Results Research describing the level of independence of the elderly (69-90 years) in fulfilling daily living activities shows that a small proportion of the elderly at the Light Dependence Level are 4 elderly people (36.3%) to the normal level of 7 elderly people (63.6%). running smoothly, and as knowledge material for the elderly and caregivers, especially the condition of decreasing independence and daily functional activities by providing education Physical Activity Therapy aims to provide opportunities for behavior change for various physical, psychological and environmental problems for the elderly)

Abstract

This article aims to study the Operational Procedures for Procurement of Goods and Services at PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) DAOP VIII Surabaya is carried out by understanding and getting to know the work environment and involving direct understanding and practice regarding the Work Plan and Requirements (RKS), Procurement Implementation Order (SP3), Aanwizjing, Tenders, Negotiations, and so on . Goods and Services Procurement Activities at PT. Kereta Api Indonesia DAOP 8 is a process for obtaining goods or services by ministries/institutions/regional work units/other institutions, starting from needs planning to completing all stages of obtaining goods or services. Procurement of goods or services carried out by PT. Kereta Api Indonesia DAOP 8 has a significant role in supporting national development and improving public services in various regions.

Abstract

Cultural developments are very diverse in a country, therefore companies also have different cultures in a country. This writing was written to find out about the culture of the Coca Cola company and the challenges this company must face. The method used in this writing is the literature method, where the author looks for information through previous articles. From the results of this analysis, the author found that the Coca Cola company has a culture that is quite different from other companies and this company also has several big challenges.

Abstract

PT. X is part of ID FOOD which focuses on the sugar cane agro-industry sector. SHS sugar is the main product. To ensure production meets consumer standards and expectations, it is necessary to implement quality control during the production process. This involves quality control, improvement and improvement of systems so that the products produced are superior and competitive. In writing this article, the author is interested in exploring the problem of product defects and deviations in the production process, including defective products, as well as efforts to improve and improve product quality. The problem solving method used is the new seven tools, with an emphasis on affinity diagrams, linkage diagrams, tree diagrams, and PDPC. The results of data analysis suggest solutions, including implementing appropriate SOPs at each stage of production, routine maintenance on equipment every milling season, and additional training for operators or workers to increase productivity and product quality
