Abstract

Saat masa pandemi Pemerintah Indonesia menerapkan kebijakan dimana institusi pendidikan harus melakukan pembelajaran moda dalam jaringan atau yang dikenal dengan sebutan daring. Hal ini dilakukan guna memutus mata rantai penyebaran COVID-19. Dalam dunia PAUD hal ini menjadi tantangan besar bagi pendidik, yang dituntut harus tetap melaksanakan kewajiban dan memberikan pembelajaran yang maksimal dengan metode dan situasi belajar yang berbeda. Pendidik dituntut untuk kreatif dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang efisien dalam keterbatasan jarak dan lain hal. Selain pandemic, pendidik dihadapkan pada kemajuan Revolusi Industri 4.0, yang berarti pendidik harus memiliki keterampilan khusus dalam mengajar Anak Usia Dini. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mereview kinerja guru selama masa pandemi dan tantangan revolusi industry 4.0. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan Studi Literatur. Analisis data menggunakan analisis konten. Hasil review menunjukan bahwa para pendidik PAUD, telah menjalankan kebijakan pemerintah dengan berbagai cara. Para pendidik berusaha memanfaatkan berbagai platform dan juga bekerja sama dengan orang tua peserta didik. Akan tetapi dalam pelaksanaannya terdapat berbagai kendala seperti sarana dan prasarana maupun sumber daya manusia. Mengingat keterbatasan yang ada, perlunya kemitraan dan dukungan dengan berbagai pihak terkait agar tantangan yang dihadapi pendidik bisa mendapatkan titik terang, karena pembelajaran harus berjalan dengan optimal dan perkembangan peserta didik dapat berjalan dengan baik

Abstract

This research is a Class Action Research which aims to improve English ability of group B consist of 7 children. This research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consist of five stages that are planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. Data collection method used observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis technique used qualitative descriptive technique. The results showed the achievement of indicators and an increase in English ability. It can be seen from the pre-cycle English ability in the good category of 14.28%, then in the first cycle increased to 21.43% and in the second cycle the English ability of children increased by 75%. The conclusion of this research is that through the reading word media android-based can improve English ability of children in Oasis Kids National Plus School in Group B academic year 2018/2019. There is a suggestion for educators to try improving children’s English ability by using a variety of learning media, one of which is to use reading word media android-based. In addition, a suggestion for schools is to be a place for early childhood education to be able to provide learning activities in accordance with the characteristics of children’s learning abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the micro role playing method on empathy for children 5-6 years. This research is a quantitative research with Quasi Experimental Design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group. The study was conducted from April to December 2018. Sampling using saturated samples. The research sample of 36 children was taken from the Dharma Wanita 1 Banaran Kindergarten and Banaran Kindergarten, Kalijambe, Sragen. The technique of collecting data uses observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the instrument uses expert judgment which is then tested by the instrument. Data analysis consisted of prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing. The prerequisite test in data analysis consisted of a normality test and a homogeneity test, while a hypothesis test used an independent sample t-test. The prerequisite test results show normal and homogeneous data. The results of the hypothesis test show that the difference in the average value of the posttest value of the experimental group and the control group is 24.33 and 20.33 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. While the difference in the value of the pretest and posttest in the experimental group was 18.39 to 24.33. The conclusion of the study shows that there is an influence of the use of the micro role playing method on empathy for children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

School readiness is the readiness that children must have to enter elementary school. School readiness includes the abilities that children need to learn well in school so that school success can be achieved. This research is a phenomenological qualitative research which aims to obtain an overview of school readiness that children have when entering the first grade of elementary school. The informants of this study were the first grade elementary school teachers totaling five people. The results of the study show that school readiness must have to be prepared early is the child's internal readiness, family readiness and school institution readiness. The child's internal readiness consists of cognitive readiness and social emotional readiness. Although cognitive readiness has been possessed by majority children, but social emotional readiness has not been fully achieved, even though it seems less attention to its achievements. This condition should not be ignored, because the realization of optimal children's internal school readiness is a combination of cognitive readiness and emotional social readiness. In addition, family preparedness and readiness of school institutions must also be sought as a form of support for children, so that children's school readiness is expected to be fully achieved optimally.

Abstract

Kemampuan pengukuran penting diberikan kepada anak sejak dini. Pengukuran berasal dari kata ukuran yang berarti hasil suatu bilangan yang menunjukkan suatu ukuran benda, seperti panjang, luas, lebar dan besar. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui profil kemampuan pengukuran anak usia 4-6 tahun di TK Se Gugus Mangkunegaran Makamhaji. Subjek penelitian adalah anak usia 4-6 tahun yang berjumlah 146 anak. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu kuesioner yang didasarkan pada indikator yaitu  (1) Menggunakan alat ukur tidak baku untuk mengukur panjang/pendek benda; (2) Menggunakan alat ukur tidak baku untuk mengukur berat/ringan benda; (3) Menggunakan alat ukur tidak baku untuk mengukur banyak/sedikit benda; (4) Mengukur benda berdasarkan ukuran jarak; (5) Mengukur benda berdasarkan ukuran beban; (6) Mengukur benda berdasarkan ukuran volume; (7) Membedakan ukuran panjang; (8) Membedakan ukuran beban; (9) Membedakan ukuran volume (isi). Teknik analasis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Teknik analisis deskriptif dihitung presentase menggunakan microsoft excel 2010. Kemampuan pengukuran anak usia 4-6 tahun yang ditemukan di TK Se Gugus Mangkunegaran Makamhaji terdapat 45,8% anak kebingungan mengenal konsep panjang-pendek, berat-ringan dan banyak-sedikit sehingga anak belum memahami alasan benda tersebut dikatakan panjang, pendek, berat, ringan, banyak, sedikit. Selain itu, terdapat 40% anak belum bisa menggunakan alat ukur untuk mengukur benda.

Abstract

In the development of cognitive aspects one of the parts in it is mathematics. One concept in mathematics that is very close to children is the concept of measurement. However, learning in children is quite difficult for teachers to do. This is because the concept of measurement is one of the concepts in mathematics which is quite abstract if only taught without the existence of a learning medium as a tool in the learning process. Teaching the concept of measurement in kindergarten is still lacking in variety and tends to only use Child Worksheets (LKA) which directly or indirectly will seem very boring and seem monotonous. Therefore, it is necessary to have a new learning media in the process of learning the measurement concept that aims to make it easy for children to learn the measurement concept. This study aims to describe the use of the modified media scales in the learning of measurement concepts that are aimed at children aged 5-6 years. Indicators of measurement concepts related to the child's ability to understand the concept of measuring the weight of objects with the intended subject are early childhood with an age range of 5-6 years. This type of research is a literature review that is using literature studies in a scientific study relating to the variables in the study. Analysis techniques in research by analyzing some relevant research from related articles obtained, discovered, analyzed and concluded. The results of the data analysis concluded that the use of modified media scales in the learning process of measuring concepts can provide convenience for children in learning the measurement concepts.

Abstract

Anak usia dini merupakan masa golden age sangat difasilitasi oleh lingkungan. Perilaku tantrum adalah keadaan ketika anak meluapkan emosinya dengan cara menangis kencang hingga melempar barang.  Tantrum tersebut pertunjukan dari perkembangan emosi yang mengalami hambatan, diakibatkan kebutuhan dasar anak akan rasa kasih sayang dan rasa aman tidak terpenuhi. Ini terjadi karena ketidaknyaman yang dirasakan oleh anak dengan beberapa sebab seperti lapar, ngantuk, keinginannya terhalangi, orang tua salah merespon kebutuhan anak, diserang atau dikritik, dirampas permainannya atau bertemu dengan orang asing dan beberapa sebab lainnya Gejala perilakunya, marah berlebihan, merusak diri dan barang, takut yang sangat kuat, menarik diri dari lingkungan, sulit mengatasi perasaan tersinggung dan pandangan yang cenderung negative bersikap murung. Sehingga untuk menghadapi anak tersebut, bagi orang tua dan guru sebaiknya memberi perlakuan rasa kasih sayang dan cinta kasih, serta hadapi anak dengan tenang, ajak anak berbicara dengan hati yang tulus, bahasa yang halus dan nada yang lembut dengan pelukan cinta.Perilaku tantrum dapat diatasi melalui strategi permainandanmetode time-out. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji modifikasi perilaku tantrum pada anak usia dini ketika pembelajaran berlangsung yang didasari studi literatur.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years through motion video and song. The type of this study was a classroom action research were conducted in two cycles. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, test, and documentation. Quantitative data analysis techniques used comparative data analysis, and qualitative data analysis used interactive model analysis. The validity of quantitative data used construct validity, while the validity test of qualitative data using triangulation and triangulation techniques. The results showed there is an increased ability to recognize letters that can be viewed through an increase in the percentage of completeness that in the first cycle of 65% and the second cycle by 82%.The increase was evidenced by the child's success in imitating / create form letters b,d,p,q,l,i, pronounce letter sounds b,d,p,q,l,i and distinguish the shape of the letter b and d, p and q, l and i. The conclusion of this study is the impression of motion video and song can improve the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years.

Abstract

Planting character values needs to be given from an early age. One of the character values that needs to be instilled early is independence.The role and parent's support is needed to build an independent child character. Parenting is one of the factors that influence children's independence. The purpose of this study was to find out whether there was a relationship between democratic parenting and disciplines of children aged 4-5 years in Gonilan Village. This study uses quantitative approaches with correlation research type. This research was conducted on January 2019 by using a sample of 69 children and parents of children aged 4-5 years in Gonilan Village. Retrieving data from this study uses questionnaires that distributed to the parents. The results of the hypothesis test of the Spearman Rho correlation indicate that the significance value is 0,000 <0.05 which means the hypothesis is accepted, there is a relationship between democratic parenting with the independence of children aged 4-5 years in Gonilan Village. The results of the correlation coefficient are 0.998 using the Spearman Rho hypothesis test, which means the higher the democratic parenting style of parents, the higher the child's independence.

Abstract

The family is the place where the education process takes place. Parents hold the first and foremost role for child development which is an important task and cannot be separated from various challenges. Parenting style is one of the behavioral factors and actions of children since early to adulthood. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between authoritarian parenting and the aggressive behavior of children aged 5-6 years. Sampling using purposive sampling technique amounted to 37 parents and children aged 5-6 years in Mojolegi, Teras, Boyolali. Data in this study were obtained from questionnaires. The technique of analyzing questionnaire items using the total corrected item-total correlation. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between authoritarian parenting and the aggressive behavior of children with r = 0.996 with p = 0.000 with the help of SPSS 16 for windows. This value shows a positive result which means that the higher the authoritarian parenting style, the higher the child's aggressive behavior.
