Abstract

Diarrhea is a symptom of infection in the intestinal tract which can be caused by various bacterial, virus and parasitic organisms. The morbidity rate of toddler’s diarrhea in Indonesia in 2020 is 843/1000 population and the mortality rate has continued to increase since 2019. Main factors related to the spread of diarrheal disease are environmental and behavioral factors including population density, drinking water facilities and household waste. This study used a descriptive design to obtain an overview regarding the mapping of the distribution and classification of diarrheal diseases. The results of diarrheal disease research were classified into very low, low, medium, high and very high. From the mapping it can be concluded that there are other factors apart from population density, access to drinking water facilities and households with healthy lifestyle behavior that allow cases of diarrhea to occur.

Abstract

Initial survey found that there are still many pregnant women who do not regularly attend Antenatal Care visits. The aim of this study is to identify the factors influencing the regularity of Antenatal Care visits among pregnant women in Sugio Community Health Center, Lamongan Regency. This research has an analytical correlation design with a cross-sectional approach. The population consists of all pregnant women who have recorded Antenatal Care visits at Sugio Community Health Center. Using the Consecutive Sampling technique, a total of 50 pregnant women were obtained as the sample for this study, and data were collected through a questionnaire. The collected data were then tabulated and analyzed using the chi-square test with a significance level of p=0.05. The results of the study showed that the majority of pregnant women, 38 (76%), attended Antenatal Care visits regularly, while a small portion, 12 (24%), did not attend Antenatal Care visits regularly. Based on the analysis, it was found that the factor of parity had a p-value of 0.007 (p0.05), indicating a relationship between the respondents’ parity and the regularity of Antenatal Care visits. The factor of knowledge level yielded a p-value of 0.000 (p0.05), indicating a relationship between knowledge level and the regularity of Antenatal Care visits. The factor of famil support obtained a p-value of 0.000 (p0.05), indicating a relationship between family support and the regularity of Antenatal Care visits. Lastly, the factor of healthcare provider support had a p-value of 0.010 (p0.05), indicating a relationship between healthcare provider support and the regularity of Antenatal Care visits. Based on the research findings, it is hoped that pregnant women will be able to attend Antenatal Care visits regularly to ensure good health for their fetus.

Abstract

Markets are one of the public places (TTU) that have a risk of being a place for contamination of disease transmission through media, one of which is food. Food stalls are also one of the places that provide food which gets quite a lot of visits from consumers, especially visitors to traditional markets to get or enjoy the various kinds of food they want. The results of a preliminary study conducted by researchers were observations of the Cikurubuk market in Tasikmalaya City, where there were 32 rice stalls, which sold mixed rice dishes with various different side dishes. It can be seen from the preliminary study that rice stalls still do not pay attention to good food processing practices and sanitation hygiene with the presence of Escherichia coli bacteria in food at the Cikurubuk Market, Tasikmalaya City. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the relationship between food hygiene and sanitation and the presence of Escherichia coli bacteria. The research method used was analytical observational with a survey method and laboratory examination with a cross sectional approach. The sample for this research was 32 food samples from each rice stall produced. The results of bivariate analysis showed that the chi-square test (CI: 95%) had a significant relationship between food processing practices (p=0.037; PR=11.429) and sanitation hygiene (p=0.024; PR=14.000).

Abstract

Water has an important role in all living things, especially for humans. One of the most important uses of water for humans is the need for drinking. The source of drinking water for the community in the UPTD Puskesmas Mangkubumi working area almost entirely comes from refilled drinking water depots. The general objective of this study was to determine the description of the sanitary hygiene of refillable drinking water depots and the quality of refillable drinking water according to microbiological standards in the UPTD Mangkubumi Puskesmas working area. This study was descriptive observational with a cross-sectional design by conducting observations, interviews and laboratory tests. The DAMIU sample was the total population of 24 DAMIUs. The results of the study were compared with Permenkes RI Number 43 of 2014 and Permenkes RI Number 2 of 2023. The population in this study were all refillable drinking water depots in the working area of UPTD Puskesmas Mangkubumi. The results showed that of the 24 DAMIUs that were observed for drinking water depot sanitation hygiene, 11 DAMIUs did not meet the requirements, namely having a total score of 70. For drinking water quality according to microbiological standards, 4 DAMIUs contained E.coli and Total Coliform. Depot owners are expected to improve sanitary hygiene based on sanitation of premises, equipment, hygiene of handlers and raw water and drinking water, as well as periodically checking raw water and drinking water at least once a year.

Abstract

Regulation of the Minister of Health Number 24 of 2022 explains that health services including public health center must organize electronic medical records. The implementation of electronic medical records at Kawalu Public Health Center is still constrained. The purpose of this study was to analyze electronic medical records implementation based on human, organization and technology – benefit factors. This type of research was descriptive qualitative with 13 informants. Data collection techniques were in-depth interviews, observation, document review, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions with source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of the study showed that in human factors, the skills of health workers in operating electronic medical records systems were uneven. In organizational factors, the support has not optimized for for facilities, human resources, policies, and structures. In the technology factor, the integration of E-Puskesmas data is only internally and has not been integrated externally, and the contents of the electronic medical records form do not contain patient consent data on health services. It is recommended that the Kawalu Public Health Center coordinate with the Health Office to hold technical guidance, prioritize the budget for computer procurement, complete the preparation of standard operational procedures, form a medical record review team, register the information system, coordinate with providers to adjust data and integrate with the satusehat platform.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic disease caused by the body's inability to produce the hormone insulin Currently Indonesia is in fifth position with the number of diabetics as many as 19.47 million out of 179.72 million population. The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to provide an overview of family nursing care by providing education through demonstrations of walking physical activity to improve family ability to care for family members who have Diabetes Mellitus. Diabetes Mellitus is a high blood glucose level caused by the inability of the pancreas to secrete insulin. Signs and symptoms of Diabetes Mellitus include polyuria, polyphagia and polydipsia. The research method of this scientific paper is to use a qualitative case study design method, namely analyzing the application of walking physical activity by the family to reduce blood sugar levels for 5 days with a frequency of 1 time a day for 30 minutes, data collection is carried out before and after education through demonstration of walking physical activity. The results showed an increase in family independence in caring for family members with Diabetes Mellitus, which is at level III independence with 6 criteria. The conclusion is that education through demonstration of walking physical activity is effective for improving the ability of families to care for family members with Diabetes Mellitus, but depends on family understanding which can affect the success of therapy. for further researchers, it is hoped that it can improve educationalmethods about the application of walking physical activity to families so that families are maximized in doing walking physical activity, so that maximum results are obtained.
