Abstract

Intra-industry trade plays an important role in the current international economics literature. In 2019, Indonesia's total exports to RCEP member countries reached 61.65% of Indonesia's total exports, and 44% of total exports to RCEP came from the agricultural sector. The purpose of this research is to examine the interdependence of Indonesia and its 14 trading partners in RCEP. This research uses secondary time series data from the trademap, namely the flow of Indonesian agricultural trade with RCEP countries from 2010-2019. The data analysis method in this study is the intra-industry trade index. The results of the study of trade patterns identified through the Indonesia-RCEP Trade Relations (IIT) show that the raw material with the highest average IIT value is processed flour (HS 19). This shows that Indonesia's RCEP trade in flour products (HS 19) is bilateral. In terms of country, Malaysia is a country with the strongest trade relations with Indonesia. The average score of 19.74 between IIT Indonesia and RCEP reflects that the relationship between Indonesian agricultural products and RCEP is still low and classified as inter-industry trade. The low IIT value may be due to the large one-way trade in RCEP, where Indonesia is still the dominant importer. Therefore, it is important for the government to further increase potential commodity exports by encouraging agricultural product processing industries with tax breaks within a certain period.

Abstract

The current study seeks to produce a theory of business management strategy data in times of crisis in Islam which refers to the story of Prophet Noah AS, also aims to identify the strategies used by business leaders in the crisis management process. A grounded theory approach is applied which is one of the qualitative designs. Fill in the verses of the Qur'an and hadith related to the problems and crises being analyzed. The results of a qualitative analysis of the verses of the Qur'an and the noble hadith of the Prophet's sunnah have resulted in four concepts which constitute a broad conceptual theory of crisis management strategies according to an Islamic approach. These concepts are: Crisis management strategies in Islam, stages of crisis management strategies, characteristics of leaders who manage crises, and the role of a leader during the crisis management process. These results have wide application in the field of leader training, and also recommend future studies to verify theoretical assumptions emerging from the data in this study about crisis management strategies in Islam (COVID-19 pandemic crisis as model).

Abstract

This study examines UMKM’s strategy to survive the COVID-19 pandemic. The findings of this study can help UMKM actors make decisions during pandemic uncertainty. This study is slightly different from previous, similar studies. Previous research looked at the long-term viability of UMKM businesses and competition among UMKM. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the situation was very different. This is not separate from the market anomalies that absorb UMKM products. UMKM faces the most difficult time in its business history. This investigation explains a change in the behavior of both UMKM perpetrators and buyers in the face of a pandemic. The research also shows that the surviving UMKM business operators are those who are able to adapt and innovate in their services and production processes. This research is expected to contribute to the development of UMKM strategies to survive the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This article examines China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) as a strategicinstrument in its efforts to challenge the existing hegemonic order in the IndoPacific region. Amid growing geopolitical rivalry, particularly with the UnitedStates and its allies, China has employed the BRI not merely as an economicdevelopment scheme, but as a tool of influence projection, regional integration, and soft power consolidation. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach andcritical geopolitical analysis, this study explores how China’s BRI projects ranging from infrastructure development to digital connectivity are reshapingregional power dynamics. The research finds that China’s approach blendseconomic diplomacy with strategic interest, fostering dependencies andinfluence in key Indo-Pacific states. However, the implementation of BRI alsoencounters resistance in the form of debt-trap diplomacy allegations, environmental critiques, and counter-initiatives like the U.S.-led Indo-PacificStrategy. The article concludes that the BRI is central to China’s vision of aSinocentric order, signaling a shift from unipolar to multipolar geopoliticalcompetition in the Indo-Pacific.

Job stress has a positive and significant effect witha beta coefficient of 0.511 (p = 0.000), while workload also shows a significantpositive effect with a beta coefficient of 0.473 (p = 0.000). The regression modeldemonstrates a strong explanatory power, with an adjusted R² value of 0.941,indicating that 94% of the variance in turnover intention is explained by job stressand workload. The remaining 6% is attributed to other unmeasured factors. Theseresults underscore the need for organizations to address workplace stressors andmanage workloads effectively to reduce employee turnover, especially whenconsidering gender-related experiences in the work environment
