Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology, which affects almost every aspect of life, has also transformed the consumption behavior of the millennial generation toward digital domains. This study aims to analyze trends and changes in millennial consumer behavior in the digital era as an impact of online learning. Using bibliometric methods and VOSviewer visualization, data were collected from international publications (Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar) during the 2020-2025 period. The findings show that online learning has accelerated the adoption of digital consumption behaviors among millennials, with key terms such as consumer behavior, machine learning, e-commerce, and millennial forming interconnected clusters. The study also identifies a research gap related to loyalty and postpurchase behavior among millennials in the digital ecosystem. The results of this research are expected to serve as a reference for strengthening educational policy, digital economy development, and digital literacy to support the national agenda for superior human resource development and digital transformation in Indonesia.

Abstract

This paper presents a systematic literature review exploring the integration of the UTAUT2 model, Technology Readiness (TR), and Value–Belief–Norm (VBN) in the study of pro-environmental behavior. The review synthesizes existing research published between 2015 and 2025 to identify key factors influencing pro-environmental behavior through the integration of these models. A quantitative methodology was predominantly employed, with a focus on consumer technology adoption, psychological readiness, and environmental values. Results highlight the synergistic influence of these models, with UTAUT2 addressing technology adoption, TR measuring individual readiness, and VBN emphasizing moral and value-based motivations. The paper contributes to theoretical understanding by integrating these models to explain sustainable behavior, offering implications for policy and practical applications in environmental technology adoption. Research gaps identified include the need for further exploration of these models in developing countries and across diverse green technologies.

Abstract

Science learning in environmental education for early childhood at Teladan Kindergarten Sukoharjo. The purpose of this study was to determine how science learning is implemented to instill environmental attitudes and behaviors in kindergarten children. This study explored the implementation process, the learning methods used, their effectiveness, and the support from the principal, teachers, and parents in developing children's science process skills and scientific literacy based on environmental education. This study also examined the challenges faced and strategies to overcome them in the context of science learning and environmental education for early childhood. This research method used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design on the subjects of children, teachers, principals, and parents. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation during the period of July to September 2025. The results of the study indicate that science learning based on simple experiments and hands-on practice is effective in improving children's knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of environmental concern. Principal support, teacher creativity, and parental involvement are important factors in the success of this learning. Obstacles encountered include limited learning media and time; however, various strategies such as the use of simple tools and improved teacher training can overcome these. This study provides conceptual and practical contributions to the development of environmentally-based science learning for early childhood and recommends improvements in learning media, parental involvement, and collaboration with environmental communities.

Abstract

Caring for a child with cancer can cause profound psychological and emotional stress for mothers. Spiritual coping is often used as a strategy to manage such challenges. This research aims to describe how Muslim mothers employ spiritual coping while caring for children with cancer. A descriptive qualitative approach was used. The informants were three muslim mothers who had cared for, or were currently caring for, children with cancer. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews in the area formerly known as Surakarta Residency and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. Credibility was ensured through member checking, and transferability was supported by detailed description techniques. The results indicated that the informants engaged in spiritual coping by relying on Allah in three domains: behavioral practices, emotional regulation, and cognitive reframing. Family encouragement and religious beliefs influenced their choice of coping strategies. These findings suggest that incorporating spiritual coping approaches into psychosocial interventions may help mothers achieve greater inner peace in facing the challenges of childhood cancer.

Abstract

Recurrent severe floods in Kelantan, Malaysia, pose significant and lasting challenges to the psychological and emotional well-being of affected communities. Addressing this critical need, this study focuses on developing an evidence-based psychosocial intervention framework and preparedness guidelines, specifically designed to enhance emotional management and multi-dimensional resilience among flood victims. The research employs a qualitative design, utilizing semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions with flood victims from diverse districts in Kelantan, selected through purposive and snowball sampling to capture rich, contextualized data. The primary objective of this research is to construct actionable preparedness guidelines rooted in emotional and resilience cultivation for future flood events. To achieve this, the study thoroughly examines the emotional resilience of flood-affected communities, elaborates on the diverse forms of community resilience demonstrated, and identifies and analyzes existing emotional management strategies and resilience mechanisms within a comprehensive multi-dimensional framework encompassing psychosocial, spiritual, and behavioral dimensions. The findings show that adaptive strategies are employed by victims, highlighting a crucial interplay between individual emotional fortitude and collective community resilience. This research culminates in a practical, culturally sensitive intervention framework aimed at enhancing the psychological well-being and preparedness of flood victims. By contributing significantly to disaster mental health and community resilience building, this study underscores the importance of holistic approaches in fostering sustainable recovery and alleviating the long-term psychosocial burden of natural disasters within the "Health and Well-Being" discourse.

Abstract

The paradigm shift in modern education emphasizes the holistic development of students, encompassing intellectual, emotional, and spiritual dimensions. Self-regulation, defined as the ability to manage emotions, thoughts, and behaviors to achieve goals, is a key component of character education. In the context of Islamic education, self-regulation is cultivated through religious practices such as prayer, Qur'an recitation, and remembrance of God, which foster discipline, patience, and moral awareness. Previous studies indicate that students' participation in religious activities is associated with improved emotional control, motivation, and independence. However, limited research has specifically examined the relationship between Islamic practices and the development of self-regulation among junior high school students. Therefore, this study aims to explore how religious practices and Islamic habits at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta contribute to students' self-regulation and identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in this process. Self-regulation is an individual's ability to regulate behavior, emotions, and thoughts in order to achieve certain goals, which is very important in the context of education to support student discipline, responsibility, and independence in learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, as it aims to describe and understand in depth how students' self-regulation is formed through religious practices and Islamic habits at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews with the school principal, Islamic education teachers, students, and parents; direct observation of Islamic activities such as Dhuha prayer, morning Quran recitation, and memorization programs; and documentation in the form of schedules, character assessment rubrics, and photos of Islamic activities. The collected data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. To ensure data validity, the researcher employed source and technique triangulation, as well as conducting member checks with informants to verify data accuracy. This study also refers to Zimmerman's self-regulated learning theory and Bandura's social modeling theory, and is reinforced by literature on Islamic education and character from Muhaimin and Tilaar. Participants in this study include: students, teachers and Ustadz/Ustadzah (including Islamic guidance counselors, homeroom teachers, and teachers involved in routine spiritual activities), school officials, and parents. Students were selected based on their involvement in Islamic habit formation activities. According to records, boarding students are generally more intensive in tahfidz and routine worship activities, with different memorization targets (minimum 1 juz for regular students and 3 juz for special programs). Teachers and the principal provided perspectives on supervision, guidance, character building, and self-regulation. The number of student participants interviewed was approximately 20 (boys and girls), with additional in-depth interviews with teachers and parents. The results of the study indicate that the development of students' self-regulation is achieved through various religious practices and Islamic habits, such as Dhuha prayer, Quran recitation, morning remembrance (dzikir), and character development through the example set by teachers and regular religious programs. Additionally, students' involvement in Muhammadiyah-specific activities such as Hizbul Wathan (HW), Tapak Suci, and the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IPM) significantly contributes to fostering values of discipline, responsibility, solidarity, and leadership. These activities help cultivate self-awareness, emotional control, and internal motivation in students. Thus, the cultivation of Islamic practices and the reinforcement of Muhammadiyah movement values within the school environmentAs a contribution, this study highlights the role of Islamic schools as pioneers in character development through in-depth worship habits. However, limitations in scope and methodological approach are important notes for further research so that the results obtained can be more measurable and widely applicable.
