Abstract

Coronavirus has become a pandemic in the world and has spread to almost all parts of the world, including in Indonesia. Many negative impacts resulted from the spread of covid-19 in Indonesia, so the government took action to implement vaccination programs to reduce the spread of covid-19. The response from the public to the vaccination program is quite diverse on social media Twitter, some agree and some disagree. this type of comment on twitter in the form of unstructured text in large numbers resulted in the missed information about COVID-19 vaccination that is useful from a set of text documents. It also knows the sentiment of twitter users manually can be detrimental to time and effort. This study aims to determine public sentiment towards vaccination. The data used are 1000 tweets, using two keywords, namely "vaccine + covid". The data is then divided into training data and test data. Classification was carried out using the Naïve Bayes method and using 10-Fold Cross Validation. The classification results from the Naïve Bayes method get an average accuracy of 73.75%.

Abstract

PT X is a manufacturing company located in the Ejip industrial area, each month using an average of 950 KWH of electricity every month, where the electricity tariff in the area is 10% more expensive per KWH than using PLN. The ratio of electricity costs to turnover averaged 4 - 5% each month, this was very burdensome, so a project was created with the hope of a decrease of Rp. 200 million every month. The method used is Lean Six Sigma, where the project is carried out for 3 months. From the results of implementing Six Sigma, the company can find out the dominant cause and from the project costs can be reduced by 9% or 83 KWH every month.

Abstract

Machinery is a very important sector in the production process in every company. Machine maintenance is a very important activity, so the interval of component replacement and machine maintenance must be scheduled more intelligently. incinerators as a tool to destroy waste and use the heat arising from the combustion of waste to be converted to steam production, where the steam is reused for the production process of making wrapping paper. And the Incinerator component is a conveyor belt used for the process of transferring the waste to be incinerated. The Ishikawa diagram or known as the fish bone diagram is one of the Seven Quality Tools methods used to find the cause of a problem. This method divides the problem into cause and effect which consists of several factors: machine, management, materials, manpower, environment, measurement, method. The result of this study is that there are factors that cause damage or stuck on the carry roller belt conveyor C101 there are 4 points including: a. Material (life time of material carrier rollers), b. Machine (excess load causing shaft damage), c. environment (environmental conditions and weather factors), d. Human (Lack of knowledge about conveyor belts).

Abstract

Total Productive Maintenance is one of the maintenance process methods developed to increase productivity in the work area, by making the process more reliable and less wasteful. This method is part of Lean Manufacturing. A common problem in TPM is due to the lack of comprehensive involvement of production operators in machine maintenance and the tendency to leave machine maintenance to maintenance. This is due to lack of standard machine maintenance, lack of training for operators, operators are less skilled in carrying out maintenance, and also inadequate working environment. A common problem nowadays is the problem of porosity in the die casting part due to incorrect TPM during prevention and operators who do not understand the potential of preventive cooling cause porosity and prevention as it starts from cooling propagating to porosity to other abnormal parts.

Abstract

Preparation in the production process is a must and many things must be done in the preparation process, because a good production process and good production results are determined by a good and correct preparation process. However, there is a negative effect from the set up which is the loss both in terms of time and in terms of product waste. It goes on the die cutting machine for 90 minutes with an average machine speed of 5000 pieces/hour so from this data there is still an opportunity to reduce the set up time so that losses due to set up time can be minimized. Therefore, we need a method that can reduce setup time and minimize losses due to long setup time. One method that can be used is Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED). From the results of applying the SMED method to the die cutting machine, it was found that the setup time has been saved from 90 minutes to 60 minutes or there is a saving of 30 minutes. In addition, due to the improvement in the set up using dynamic stripping. , there is an increase in the cutting speed/hour of the die.cutting machine from 5000 cutting/hour before to 7000 cutting/hour or an increase of around 40%, as a result of the implementation of SMED there are of course many benefits obtained by the company directly and indirectly.

Abstract

Maintenance of quality products or processes carried out through careful planning, use of appropriate equipment, continuous inspection, and corrective action when necessary With the Quality Control Circle (QCC) method, we can identify, analyze and resolve various ways more easily work-related problems and apply them to the company. In applying the QCC method that is by using 7 Tools where 7 Tools are used as a tool to find out the data and see the factors that cause product defects and also find solutions to any problems found that can reduce the number of damaged products and increase productivity and improve product quality. One of them is to use a fishbone diagram, which can identify the factors that cause the product to spoil. Starting from people, materials, methods, and machines. Quality control results can determine the factors that cause product damage and how to overcome it and can reduce the amount of damaged products by 40%.

Abstract

In Indonesia there are many manufacturing companies, one of which is specialized in manufacturing the automotive industry. An automotive industry manufacturing company located in Karawang, West Java, manufactures products including body parts, fuel tanks, dies, Jigs and after sales services. The problem experienced by this company is the high level of product defects produced in the welding process which causes problems. This is the basis for carrying out research in providing quality improvement proposals to reduce the level of defects in products. This study discusses improvements made to the welding production process for fuel tank products. The repair method used is six sigma through the DMAIC stage. The results of the study show that the DPMO value for the welding process of fuel tank products from October 2021 to March 2022 is 69004.855 and the sigma level is 2.98. After the correction was made from December 2021 to February 2022, the DPMO value became 39450.8033 and the sigma level became 3.2. The conclusion is that by reducing the defect rate and increasing the sigma value, the improvement solution can be used as a reference for future production in order to maintain the company's product quality.

Abstract

The support pipe is an important part of the bridge, because it is the basis for the bridge to stand upright. If there is a problem, it will have an impact that will disrupt the transportation of oil drilling, causing losses to the company. Therefore, a method needs to be done to maintain the bridge in order to minimize various possibilities that may occur, which is the method of implementing preventive actions in the form of maintenance. In maintenance there are also various techniques that can be used, one of which is the Risk Based Maintenance (RBM) method. This study uses this method to determine the remaining life of bridge support pipes from steel pile sections. By looking at the calculated risk ranking method, it was found that the support pipe is included in the significant (low) risk category for piles with code 9C. The RK value is a function X of the corrosion risk and a function y of the thickness (t) of each pile which amounts to 3 based on the data. Where the determining coefficient is one or 100% of the influence of the pile thickness is affected by the corrosion rate, where the corrosion is higher, the pile thickness is thinner. Both problems have a very high correlation between the risk of rust and the thinness of each pile because the correlation coefficient is 1 (one). The higher the corrosion rate risk value, the less the remaining service life of the bridge, especially for the support pipes, so the maintenance strategy must be considered, especially for the piles that have the most critical corrosion rate values ​​of the three samples study on PCK-03-A bridge.

Abstract

Opertion companies had several element that containt of raw material, labor, machine, maintenance and energy used in operating process. It was vital for company because can be effected to prduction process during company operation therefore productivity measurement is a must. Productivity is relation that happened between output in the form of production cost and input like production result. Things that usually happened to the company is sum of input was not balance with sum of output thus making inefficiency and ineffictiveness on the occupation. So the production process and company operations will not run optimally. This research aims to knowing productivity level of company in every element owned. Productivity level can be measured with Marvin E Mundell as a tools based on cost. The calculation result of the first two element (raw material and enersy) were fluctuating tends to increase whereas the other two (labor and maintenance) was fluctuating tends to decrease. Overall as productivity total measurement was fluctuating tends to stable.

Abstract

PKBM XYZ is a non-formal educational institution that received the recognition of C. This result illustrates that the quality assurance of education is still low there. This research aims to analyze PKBM's accreditation improvement strategy using the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) approach so that it is known which accreditation instruments need to be prioritized for improvement to produce better education and accreditation at PKBM. The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires to experts who are teachers and one of the founders of PKBM. Data analysis and processing using ISM equipped with MICMAC. The results of this study show that in order to improve accreditation at PKBM it is necessary to implement several activities: The first priority is to increase the points of educator experience and educator qualifications; The second priority is to increase the competence points of educators and the suitability of teaching materials; The third priority is to increase the number of learning methods.
