Abstract

Fatigue is an important factor that contributes to the decline in someone's performance. This study aims to identify how much influence the duration of driving a combat vehicle has on the decline in cognitive function. A total of 8 TNI-AD soldiers were asked to drive a combat vehicle within 2 hours, and tested by subjective measurements using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire. In this research, concluded that driving a combat vehicle within 2 hours resulted in a decrease in cognitive function. Then, it can also be concluded that most of the soldiers had good sleep quality after being measured through the PSQI questionnaire. The experimental results show that the number of respondents who have good sleep quality is 75%.

Abstract

UKM Tahu Tambun Selatan is one of the tofu producers located in Bekasi Regency, West Java. UKM Tahu Tambun Selatan produces three types of tofu, namely, cut tofu, jambe tofu, and also fried tofu. During the period from May 2021 to April 2022, it was found that sales of tofu type cut are the least among all other types of tofu. Therefore, UKM Tahu Tambun Selatan wants to change its marketing strategy to increase sales, especially sales of cut tofu type. The process of preparing marketing strategies is carried out using the SWOT method (strength, weakness, oppurtunity, threats) and also the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. The results of this study provide five alternative strategies that can be applied by companies, including product marketing carried out using social media, selling even more economical product prices, producing tofu without using chemicals, establishing good cooperation with customer, and create an even more commercial product name to reach a wider market.

Abstract

Sustainability of the supply chain is determined by the performance of each partner in the chain. The relationship between buyers and suppliers has an important role in improving supply chain sustainability. Supplier relationship management is one of the most important supply chain related activities for most companies that work with multiple suppliers. The purpose of this study is to present strategies for supplier collaboration and improvement. appropriate supplier development strategies for each dimension are suggested. Purchasing Portfolio Matrix (PPM) - The Supplier Portfolio Matrix (SPM) for supplier segmentation and company executives can have the opportunity to use supplier collaboration and development strategies in the supply chain. Supplier segmentation uses combined PPM-SPM segmentation in the observed Indonesian manufacturing industry to be able to manage supplier relationships. This study proposes an integrative approach that includes supplier risk variables, profit impact, supplier willingness, and supplier ability as criteria for supplier segmentation. The method used in this study is the Best-Worst Method (BWM) to obtain the initial weight of supplier evaluation. The results of this study are recommendations for selecting the appropriate supplier relationship management strategy for each supplier segment.

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health is an effort to create a safe and comfortable work environment, but based on BPJS Employment 2020 data, the number of work accident cases reached 153,044. Reports on the number of work accidents in Indonesia still require action to prevent and deal with work accidents with the existence of dangers that can affect work accidents in the manufacturing industry in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to analyze and provide an overview of hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control for each job in the manufacturing industry in Indonesia. This research method is carried out starting from collecting articles, reducing articles, displaying discussion articles and conclusions using literature review studies. The data source used is national journal articles in the last 10 years (2013-2022). The results of this research found that the most research publication years are 2022 and 2020 with 5 articles each. Based on the type of industry, the most common type of industry is in the service sector with 10 articles. The contribution of this study is to facilitate other research as a reference for articles on K3 and ergonomics.

Abstract

Perancangan sistem kerja adalah suatu ilmu yang terdiri dari teknik-teknik dan prinsip-prinsip untuk mendapatkan rancangan terbaik dari sistem kerja yang bersangkutan. Industri manufaktur merupakan sekelompok perusahaan yang memiliki kegiatan utama untuk memproduksi dan mengolah bahan mentah atau setengah jadi menjadi barang yang siap digunakan atau barag jadi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui perbaikan apa saja yang berguna bagi perancangan sistem kerja di berbagai industri manufaktur, menentukan presentase kenaikan produktivitas kerja setelah adanya perancangan sistem kerja. Metode penelitian ini dilakulan mengunakan tinjauan sistematik mulai dari pengumpulan artikel, pengolahan serta analisa artikel tersebut. Sumber data yang digunakan berupa artikel-artikel rentan waktu 2011-2022. Hasil dari penelitian ini menentukan bahwa tahun penerbit paling banyak adalah tahun 2019 dan 2022 masing-masing sebanyak 4 artikel. Kontribusi penelitian ini untuk memberikan kemudahan peneliti lain sebagai acuan dalam artikel perancangan sistem kerja di industri manufaktur.

Abstract

PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor Plant Cikarang is a company engaged in the 4-wheeled automotive (car) sector, which carries out the assembly process from the base to becoming a car product. PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor Plant Cikarang also produces car components, one of which is a car engine component, namely Cylinder Head products. In the cylinder head component production process, there are problems with NG products sent to the next process, which is quite high, reaching 43.12% of the total NG product. From these data, further analysis was carried out, it was found that the cause was the gate cutting and baritory processes, the product inspection process was not optimal so that the NG product was sent to the next process. To deal with these problems the company uses the QC Seven Tools and poka-yoke approaches which have been carried out in the gate cutting and baritory processes by making a special jig for the Cylinder Head checking process so that the possibility of the product passing to the next process is small. The result of the improvement that has been made is the decrease in the percentage of NG products that pass to the next process to 8.33% from the previous data, which was 43.12% over a period of 4 months.

Abstract

Democracy and Economy are the two most basic things in determining the existence of a country in the eyes of the world. This paper contains a scientific framework to provide alternative ideas and thoughts about contemporary problems that have placed human beings not as subjects of national economic civilization but instead as economic objects in inhumane and ethical relationships. The thoughts and ideas in this paper also want to provide a scientific answer to the role of business and the state in realizing general well-being as mandated as the state's goal in the preamble of the 1945 Constitution. The method used in this paper is the study of literature and the exploration of thought about empirical facts. In state relations and business development in the perspective of spatial political economy. The conclusion of the paper contains 4 ideas which are related to laying a strong economic foundation with a high level of community participation, economic democracy is expected to be an alternative solution in placing the role and function of business development, economic democracy can minimize horizontal conflict, and equitable access and availability of infrastructure is even between regions.

Abstract

Retensi merupakan bagian dari komponen pembayaran arus kas masuk untuk proyek. Perannya adalah untuk memastikan pelaksanaan pekerjaan sesuai dengan perjanjian. Retensi memiliki efek mengurangi arus kas masuk selama konstruksi dan menundanya sampai jadwal pelepasan retensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan mengevaluasi pengaruh retensi terhadap arus kas masuk. Pengumpulan data primer berupa dokumen internal proyek dari penyedia jasa konstruksi. Masa konstruksi berlangsung selama 14 bulan, masa pemeliharaan berlangsung selama 1 tahun dan kas masuk dari pelepasan uang retensi terjadi pada bulan ke-27. Dari analisis dan pembahasan data, diperoleh bahwa pelaksanaan konstruksi berjalan dengan baik dimana tidak terjadi keterlambatan pada masa pemeliharaan dan keterlambatan pada jadwal pelepasan retensi. Dari hasil penelitian, disarankan kepada penyedia jasa konstruksi untuk memaksimalkan masa penagihan faktur guna meningkatkan arus kas masuk proyek.

Abstract

PT. Chiyoda Industri Indonesia is a company involved in the automotive sector making car seat frames. One of the products is FR MNL Seat No.1 (Front) Handle/Handle Seat Track (YHA). Analysis using the quality control tool that is six sigma to determine the possibility of defects that often appear and find out the failure rate per million opportunities (DPMO). As an evaluation material for PT. Chiyoda Industri Indonesia in responding to demands from QC gate regarding defective products that are still found and potentially sent to customers. Analyzing defective samples in November 2022 - December 2022. The six sigma method consists of 5 stages. The stages are DMAIC which can be described as define, measure, analyze, improve and control. It was found that the sigma value is 3.2887 which is reaching the average level of the manufacturing industry in Indonesia and the number of DPMO is 41413.1299. Cause and effect diagram analysis of the most critical types of defects include pitch hole grooves with 50.1%, bending dimensions with 31.6%, pressing dimensions with 12.6%, swaging assy missing with 3.1%, and dents with 2.6%. From the analysis of the cause and effect diagram, it can be seen that the material factor is the focal point of the cause of defects until the material flows. And from the 5W+1H analysis, it is concluded that every process needs kaizen. In the FMEA analysis, the biggest problem is the grooving process which is the cause of the material not meeting the criteria of the process results on the previous machine, namely swaging large holes, long side bending, and top press with RPN 216.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company that manufactures auto parts. This research focuses on the warehouse section. During the activity, most of the operators complained of pain in some part of their body. These complaints will be identified using the Standard Nordic Questionnaire (SNQ). Then assess work posture using Rapid Whole Body Assessment (REBA). Actual working conditions will be obtained, analyzed and evaluated. The result of the preparation of finished goods is that the level of risk in the activity is moderate and requires improvement. When pulling/pushing goods to warehouse locations and to production buildings, loading onto trucks is a high-risk activity that requires immediate repair. The recommended suggestion is to reposition the operator's work position, add enough space to place the pallet so that the operator has more freedom. Apart from that, it is also necessary to add tools to place goods or parts on a higher platform, add equipment to protect the operator's back.
