Abstract

The central government has moved to provide capital support in the form of village funds to every administrative area in Indonesia. According to ICW (2022), the entire budget allotted for village funding in 2022 will be IDR 68 trillion. According to Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) monitoring data from 2015 to 2022, there were 155 instances of village fund corruption, which caused state losses totaling IDR 381,947,508,605 (ICW, 2022). Village monies were deposited in regional accounts as a result of issues with village fund realization reports. By ensuring that village funds have a reporting system that adheres to the value for money standards, village funds will be spent as efficiently as possible. Qualitative descriptive writing is the style used. The blockchain that is being used has a transaction database as well as superior features like smart contracts and full information sharing between peers and outside, which can make it simpler for auditors to examine village money. In addition, this technology provides superior data distribution and security capabilities. Budget realization reports are made immediately by an accounting information system using data from a transaction database. The ideal usage and management of local funds are encouraged by this technology, it is hoped.

Abstract

As a matter of fact, the Indonesian tax compliance level is still low compared to the taxpayer population. Tax compliance is a mandatory requirement that must be met by taxpayers, who have met the subjective and objective tax requirements, including endorsers. Nowadays, endorsement services are becoming a popular job among Generation Z and Alpha, especially in Indonesia. Endorsement service income is influenced by the endorsement rate set by the endorser based on engagement rate on the endorser's social media. This paper aims to examine how engagement rate and endorsement rate on social media platforms contribute to Indonesian tax compliance with the endorser's income as a moderator. The results show that with the endorser's income as a moderator, engagement rate and endorsement rate significantly strengthened their influence on tax compliance. Furthermore, the endorser’s income itself did not significantly influence tax compliance, which means taxpayers' tax compliance behavior is not fixed by the endorser’s income. The possible impact of this study is to assess taxpayers understanding regarding endorsement service, especially endorsers, and to educate endorsers regarding the imposition of endorsement service tax to increase the tax compliance of Indonesians.

Abstract

In general, signs of BUMDes' success include steadily rising revenues and assets, a widening customer base, staff members who are able to do their jobs, and a positive influence on local communities. BUMDes that are constructed sporadically assist the community. This is brought on by persistent management system shortcomings, unsolved capital-related barriers, and the requirement to boost the caliber of human resources. This study employs a descriptive qualitative methodology and the Donald van Metter and Carl van Horn theory of A Model of Policy Implementation. In the Indonesian province of Banyumas, the study included a sample of 80 BUMDES. Observation, interviews, and documentation studies were the data gathering methods employed. Purposive sampling was performed as part of the informant selection process. The findings suggested that the BUMDes initiative may have been implemented more effectively. The village side anticipates an increase in local income as a result of the development of BUMDes. However, adopting it faces several challenges, including a lack of socialization of BUMDes work, widespread coverage, the managers' poor managerial skills, and little understanding of BUMDes management.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of innovation strategy on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), focusing on the mediating role of innovation culture. There needs to be more prior literature on innovation performance in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia, particularly in terms of serving as benchmarks for assessing SME success. A study utilizing a questionnaire was undertaken to gather data from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) located in Central Java, Indonesia. One hundred fifty surveys were collected and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The investigation findings indicate that both the proactive and the growth strategies have a good impact on the culture of innovation. Innovation culture was found to have a positive effect on innovation performance. Even though the culture of innovation mediates the relationship between proactive strategy and innovation performance, innovation culture still needs to be proven to mediate the relationship between growth strategy and innovation performance.
