Abstract

The food crop commodity whose production continues to be increased to support national food needs is corn. Karo Regency is the largest corn producer in North Sumatra. In production activities on corn farming, the role ratio between the human resources of male farmers and female farmers is balanced, but the ratio of workers is more female farmers than male farmers. This research aims to analyze the role of female farmers' human resources in production activities and decision making in corn farming in Karo Regency. This type of research is a quantitative research method. The method for determining the research area was carried out purposively. The sampling method was carried out using Nonprobability Sampling using the Accidental Sampling technique. The data analysis method is in the form of qualitative and quantitative analysis based on the primary data and secondary data obtained. The research results show that the amount of labor provided by female farmers is higher than that of male farmers and the contribution of female farmers in decision making is very influential in production activities in corn farming in Karo Regency. Keywords: Human Resources, Women Farmers, Production, Corn Farming

Abstract

DKI Jakarta, as the capital of the Republic of Indonesia, has the highest population density in Indonesia, with a population of 16,334 people / km2. Therefore, community facilities and infrastructure within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government play an important role so that community service can be carried out properly. As one of the main infrastructures, State Buildings must have building reliability as stated in the technical requirements stipulated in Presidential Regulation Number 73 of 2016. Building maintenance is an activity to maintain the building's reliability and infrastructure, and facilities so that the building always functions properly. Based on a survey conducted by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Office for The Creation of Works, Spatial Planning and Land Use in 2019, the number of building assets of Province DKI Jakarta are 9823 buildings. 60% of those buildings were classified as Simple-Building category. Due to the numerous building assets, maintenance activities need to be supported by an adequate maintenance system. This study aims to develop a building maintenance system based on web. The methodology used in this research are expert validation, interviews, field survey and literature studies. The results of the validation process will be developed into a simple-building’s web-based maintenance system framework.

Abstract

Climate change poses significant risks to real estate, including extreme weather events, rising sea levels, and shifting climate patterns, threatening property integrity, and market value, and increasing maintenance and insurance costs. Traditional real estate markets often react, resulting in inadequate short-term solutions. In contrast, waqf, which focuses on everlasting endowment and communal benefit, provides a proactive and comprehensive approach to the management of real assets. Sustainability and long-term management in waqf can mitigate property price impacts. This study aims to explore the potential of waqf in addressing climate change impacts on real estate, emphasizing how its principles can be leveraged to enhance resilience and sustainability in the real estate sector. The research adopts a qualitative approach, analyzing primary and secondary materials through governing statutes, reported cases, and data from respective administrative bodies. This study finds waqf properties can be designated for uses promoting environmental sustainability, such as green spaces, conservation areas, and sustainable agriculture. By preserving natural environments, waqf properties can buffer against climate-related disasters, protecting nearby real estate and maintaining property values. In addition, waqf can provide financial assistance for climate adaptation and mitigation initiatives by reinvesting income into projects that improve climate resilience, such as improvements to infrastructure, energy-efficient building retrofits, and the development of early warning platforms. However, integrating waqf in addressing climate change impacts faces challenges, including legal and administrative hurdles, lack of awareness, and the need for capacity building. All in all, by leveraging its principles of sustainability, community benefit, and long-term stewardship, waqf can enhance the resilience of real estate assets and contribute to sustainable urban development

Abstract

Digitizing SMEs is a breakthrough strategy to accelerate the development of SMEs in an inclusive and massive manner. One interesting phenomenon is the transformation of technology-based financial services known as financial technology (Fintech). In recent years, Fintech has encouraged the emergence of various new services in the financial sector including Crowdfunding. This Crowdfunding-based financial service will take various party such as: investors, business doers, intermediaries, the Financial Services Authority, and the wider community. The ability of SMEs to develop connections to stakeholders and become actively involved in the community will have an impact on their ability to use crowdfunding. This research proposes a strategy that focuses on the theory and idea of stakeholder management and community engagement to figure out how SMEs involved in crowdfunding. This modeling is expected to be used as a research basis to encourage digitalization of SMEs, especially in providing solutions in finding accessible sources of funding.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the leading sectors and potential sectors to be developed and analyze structural changes in West Tanjung Jabung Regency. The methods used in this research are Location Quotient (LQ) and Shift Share Analysis. The data in this study are secondary data in the form of time series data from the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of West Tanjung Jabung Regency and Jambi Province obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The researcher found that structural changes occurred in West Tanjung Jabung Regency. This transformation is characterized by the development of the distribution of the industrial sector and services to the GRDP. The results of the Location Quotient (LQ) and Shift Share analysis show that the mining and quarrying sector (B), the manufacturing sector (C) and the company services sector (M, N) are potential basic or leading sectors to be developed in West Tanjung Jabung District. Other sectors that are mainstay sectors such as the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sector (A), the electricity and gas procurement sector (D), the construction sector (F) and the information and communication sector (J) do not rule out the possibility of being developed into leading sectors because they have competitive advantages and fast growth.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between brand personality, brand symbolism, self-expressiveness, affective commitment, and brand trust on brand evangelism using data from Telkom University Bandung students. The research model used is structural equation modeling (SEM) with a partial least square (PLS) approach. The results showed that brand trust and affective commitment are the most important antecedents of brand evangelism, followed by brand personality, self-expressiveness, and brand symbolism. Brand trust acts as a mediating variable between brand personality, brand symbolism, self-expressiveness, and affective commitment with brand evangelism. This research has several implications for companies in building brand evangelism. Companies need to build a strong brand personality, use the right symbols, increase self-expressiveness, and build strong emotional relationships with consumers.
