Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the extent to which internal organizational factors influence employee performance, with a particular focus on work discipline, motivation, and job satisfaction. The research adopted a quantitative method combined with an associative analytical approach to evaluate the relationships among these variables. The population involved in this study consisted of all civil servants employed at the DPRD Secretariat of Medan City, totaling 51 individuals. Given the manageable size of the population, the study applied a saturated sampling technique, meaning every member of the population was included as a respondent. Data were analyzed using SPSS Version 29. The results indicated that both work discipline and motivation had a statistically significant effect on employee performance, while job satisfaction did not yield a meaningful influence when examined independently. These findings suggest that high levels of discipline and strong motivation contribute positively to enhancing employee performance. Moreover, when examined collectively, work discipline, motivation, and job satisfaction were found to have a significant combined effect, demonstrating that the integration of these factors plays a crucial role in strengthening overall performance among civil servants within the DPRD Secretariat.

The results of this study concluded that based on the results of statistical analysis, it can be seen that the inflation variable (X1) has a sig value of 0.109 ? (0.05) where the coefficient (ß) is -0.440 and the variable money supply (X2) has a sig value of 0.001 ? (0.05) where the coefficient (ß) is 0.862 This shows that the inflation variable has a negative effect not significant and the JUB variable has a positive and significant effect on the rate of economic growth

Abstract

This study aims to examine how individual and socioeconomic factors, namely Lifestyle, Position, and Financial Literacy influence a person’s ability to manage their finances, with a particular focus on the mediating role of Income. Employing a quantitative and explanatory research approach, the study gathered data from 100 respondents and utilized path analysis through the PLS (Partial Least Squares) software to evaluate the relationships among the variables. The analysis reveals that Lifestyle, Position, Financial Literacy, and Income all have a direct and statistically significant effect on Financial Management. Furthermore, Lifestyle, Position, and Financial Literacy each have a notable impact on Income, suggesting their importance in shaping one’s earning potential. Income, in turn, functions as an effective mediator, strengthening the indirect effects of the three independent variables on Financial Management. These findings underscore the importance of financial awareness and personal development, especially for young workers in East Medan City. By enhancing their financial literacy, recognizing the influence of their social and occupational status, and applying intentional strategies in planning, budgeting, monitoring, and securing their finances, they can achieve better financial outcomes and long-term stability.

These institutions provided comprehensive services, showcasing Waqf’s ongoing contribution to poverty alleviation, education, and healthcare. However, the research notes that while Waqf holds significant potential, enhanced management, awareness, and legal reforms are crucial for maximizing its impact. The study fills a gap in current research by examining Waqf's modern influence and proposing practical solutions for its revitalization

Abstract

This research explores the relationship between financial literacy, self-control, and lifestyle in shaping the consumptive behavior of students enrolled in the 2018 Financial Concentration of the Management Study Program at UMSU. Recognizing the rising concern over impulsive spending among university students, the study adopts a quantitative associative approach to examine how these three factors contribute to such behavior. A total of 54 students participated as respondents, and the data collected were analyzed using SPSS version 25. The analysis employed various statistical tests, including multiple linear regression, normality and heteroscedasticity testing, multicollinearity checks, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination, to ensure accuracy and reliability. The findings reveal that financial literacy, self-control, and lifestyle exert a notable influence on individuals' tendencies toward consumptive behavior. Moreover, when analyzed together, these variables also demonstrate a meaningful and statistically significant combined influence, indicating that a comprehensive approach addressing all three elements is crucial for understanding and potentially reducing consumptive tendencies among students

Abstract

West Papua Province is one of the regions in Indonesia with relatively low economic growth. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the province recorded an economic growth rate of 3.73% in the third quarter of 2023. Several factors contribute to this condition, including the Human Development Index (HDI) and the unemployment rate, which are often associated with regional economic performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of HDI and unemployment on the economic growth of West Papua Province during the period 2011–2023. The research method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The t-test is used to examine the partial effect of each variable, the F-test is used for simultaneous testing, and the coefficient of determination (R²) is used to assess the model's explanatory power. The results show that: (1) the Human Development Index (HDI) has a significant positive effect on economic growth; (2) the unemployment rate also significantly affects economic growth; and (3) both variables simultaneously have a significant influence on economic growth in West Papua Province. These findings indicate that improvements in human development and employment conditions are essential to stimulate economic growth in the region.
