Abstract

This study explores the dynamics of women’s digital entrepreneurship, focusing on the themes of empowerment, survival strategies, and inclusive economic development. The research goal is to analyze the trends, barriers, and emerging themes in this field using bibliometric methods. The findings reveal that while empowerment and digital transformation have facilitated women's involvement in entrepreneurship, challenges such as gender stereotypes, limited access to capital, and network exclusion persist. Resilience, family support, and financial literacy are essential for the survival of women-led businesses, particularly in micro-enterprises. Additionally, digital entrepreneurship plays a critical role in financial inclusion and poverty alleviation, offering opportunities for marginalized groups to engage in the global economy. The study highlights the need for policies to foster an inclusive ecosystem and to address intersectional factors affecting success. Future research should focus on women’s experiences and the impact of digital tools on business success. These findings have practical implications for creating more equitable environments for women entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Failure to thrive or stunting is a major complication of chronic inflammation and recurrent infections in children. An uncontrolled inflammatory response is associated with stunting syndrome. Mediators that play a role include IL-6. This study aims to determine the effect of traditional massage stimulation on IL-6 serum levels in stunted children aged 12 – 60 months. This study is a quasi-experimental design involving 21 stunted children who received the 15-minute massage treatment three times a week for four weeks. Examination of IL-6 serum levels was carried out using the ELISA method using the Human IL-6 ELISA Kit RAB 0306-1KT Sigma-Aldrich. The serum IL-6 levels before the intervention (60,234pg/ml) had a higher mean value than serum IL-6 after intervention (21,261pg/ml). The paired t-test showed a significant difference in the children's serum IL-6 values before and after the massage intervention (p0.000). It was concluded that traditional massage stimulation reduces Interleukin 6 (IL-6) serum levels in stunted children.

Abstract

PT XYZ organizes the storage of Post Flight Documents in accordance with the applicable SOP. Post Flight Documents are an important part of flight operations that have an influence on company performance and reputation. Errors in managing Post Flight Documents are mostly caused by human error such as input errors and errors in writing document labels. Data input errors can affect the FATA received by the flight crew. To deal with the occurrence of human error problems, the method that can be used is the Human Error Assessment and Reduction Technique (HEART) method, which is a technique for calculating the probability of human error. The type of research used in this research is descriptive. In this study there were 6 respondents. From the results of data collection and processing using the HEART method in the Post Flight Document handling process, it can be concluded that the activity that has the largest possible error value is in the data entry process into the system which has a HEP value of 4.7607966. Meanwhile, the smallest HEP is found in the task of numbering document packages and creating a receipt record which has a HEP value of 0.02912.

Abstract

In recent years, social media is not only used as a platform for information exchange but also plays a significant role in transforming consumer shopping behavior. This research aims to analyze the factors influencing purchasing decisions in TikTok video content. The factors analyzed include the Bandwagon Effect, Visualization, User Experience (UX), Interactivity, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). A quantitative approach was adopted, collecting data through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents. Hypotheses were tested using regression analysis supported by SPSS software. The results revealed that each independent variable individually has a significant impact on purchasing decisions. Moreover, multiple regression analysis demonstrated that all five variables collectively influence purchasing decisions in TikTok video content. These findings are expected to help companies and businesses develop more effective social media content strategies, particularly on TikTok, to enhance promotion and increase sales.

Abstract

Income distribution (Gini ratio) plays an important role in determining the level of public welfare and the quality of inclusive economic development. High income inequality can worsen poverty conditions and hinder the creation of equitable development. This study aims to analyze the effect of income distribution on inclusive economic development in Gorontalo Province by considering poverty as an intervening variable. The method used is path analysis with secondary data from the Gorontalo Province BPS during 2011–2024. The results show that income inequality has a positive and significant effect on poverty and a negative and significant effect on inclusive economic development. Poverty also has a negative impact on inclusive economic development and serves as a significant intervening variable. These findings imply that reducing inequality and poverty is crucial in promoting sustainable inclusive economic development in Gorontalo Province.

Abstract

Tax management is defined as a company's effort to minimize tax burdens legally and efficiently. This study aims to examine the effect of fixed asset intensity and inventory intensity on tax management using the Effective Tax Rate (ETR) as a proxy, as well as to assess the moderating role of institutional ownership. The research focuses on textile and garment sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2023 period. The sample was selected using purposive sampling based on specific criteria, resulting in 85 observations. A quantitative approach was employed in this study, using moderated regression analysis. The results show that fixed asset intensity has a significant negative effect on ETR, indicating that companies use depreciation as a legitimate tax management strategy. In contrast, inventory intensity has no significant effect on ETR. Institutional ownership is found to weaken the negative relationship between fixed asset intensity and ETR but does not moderate the relationship between inventory intensity and ETR. These findings contribute to the development of tax accounting literature and offer practical implications for companies and investors in designing effective and regulation-compliant tax management strategies

Abstract

Investment is increasingly recognized as an effective alternative to protect and enhance wealth while ensuring financial security in the future. In recent years, the capital market has attracted growing interest among young investors, driven by greater investment knowledge, lower capital requirements, heightened risk awareness, and rapid technological advancement. This study aims to examine the influence of investment knowledge, minimum capital, risk perception, and technological advancement on students’ investment interest in the capital market. The population comprises students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Mahasaraswati Denpasar, from the 2021, 2022, and 2023 cohorts. A sample of 98 respondents was determined using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were analyzed through multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that investment knowledge, risk perception, and technological advancement each have a significant positive effect on investment interest, while minimum capital has a significant negative effect. These results highlight the multidimensional factors shaping student investment behavior. Future studies are recommended to incorporate additional variables, expand the sample size, and extend the research setting beyond a single university to strengthen the generalizability of the findings.

Abstract

This study investigates the determinants of firm value in the energy sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2020–2023. The research focuses on the influence of financial performance, managerial ownership, dividend policy, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on firm value. Financial performance is measured using the Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER) and Earnings per Share (EPS). Data from selected companies were analyzed through multiple linear regression to identify the extent to which these factors contribute to firm value. The findings indicate that managerial ownership and dividend policy exert a positive and significant effect on firm value, suggesting that effective managerial control and consistent shareholder returns enhance investor confidence. Conversely, DER, EPS, and CSR show no significant influence, implying that capital structure, profitability per share, and CSR activities did not directly drive firm value in this sector during the observed period. These results highlight the importance of ownership structure and dividend strategies in strengthening firm value.

Abstract

In regional fiscal policy, infrastructure projects are often proposed as long-term solutions to stimulate economic growth and regional development. However, when such projects are promoted under weak fiscal conditions amid declining local revenues and increasing expenditure pressures a strategic and ethical dilemma arises: should governments take the risk in pursuit of development ambition, or adopt a more cautious approach to maintain fiscal sustainability? This paper critically examines government decision-making on infrastructure projects during fiscal crises through legal and strategic policy analysis. Although such decisions may be legally valid, this study argues that there are normative boundaries and public responsibilities that must be upheld, including principles of fiscal prudence, efficiency, and social justice. When these boundaries are disregarded, policies may remain procedurally legal but substantively flawed. By integrating legal reasoning with policy reflection, this paper highlights the need for multidimensional risk evaluation including potential impacts on public services and poverty before such projects are executed. Without reform in governance and decision-making mechanisms, ambitious infrastructure initiatives risk undermining fiscal legitimacy and eroding public trust in regional government.

Abstract

This study examines the dualism of creativity and innovation among craft industry players in South Sulawesi, focusing on the tension between traditional imagination and the influence of social media. In the digital era, the local craft industry faces the challenge of maintaining authenticity while meeting modern market demands. The research analyzes how these two approaches shape creative processes, product innovation, and business strategies. Using a qualitative methodology with in-depth interviews, two groups of craft players were identified: traditionalists, who rely on imagination and reject digital influences, and digitalists, who actively use social media for inspiration and business development. The findings reveal that traditionalists emphasize authenticity and artistic integrity, with innovation occurring incrementally. In contrast, digitalists integrate tradition with global trends, using social media as a tool for market-oriented innovation and business sustainability. These results contribute theoretically by enriching the literature on creativity dualism in the creative industry and offer practical implications for craft practitioners. The study suggests the adoption of hybrid strategies that combine the strengths of tradition with digital opportunities. Future research is recommended to explore business models that successfully navigate this dualism and ensure both cultural preservation and market competitiveness.
