Abstract

This study extends previous research on the Plaza Bukit Surga tourism destination, which previously utilized the Business Model Canvas (BMC) and SWOT analysis to identify weaknesses in marketing and resource utilization. To enhance strategic decision-making, this study integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the BMC framework, resulting in an AI-Enhanced Business Model Canvas for sustainable tourism development. Data were derived from prior research conducted between 2022 and 2024, including visitor and revenue data, combined with recent Google Maps reviews collected in 2025. The reviews were analyzed using AI to identify patterns in visitor perception. Findings reveal that 83,50% of visitors express positive sentiment highlighting natural scenery, hospitality, and affordability, while negative sentiments focus on accessibility and facility maintenance. Integrating AI-driven insights into the BMC enhances the Customer Relationship, Value Proposition, and Revenue Streams components, producing a more adaptive and data-driven business model. The study demonstrates that combining traditional qualitative approaches with AI sentiment analytics can strengthen strategic planning and support sustainable management in community-based tourism destinations.

Abstract

This study explores the global academic landscape on inflation expectations and persistence through a bibliometric analysis aimed at informing fiscal strategy design at the subnational level. A total of 729 articles published between 2010-2025 were extracted from the Dimensions Database and analyzed using VOS Viewer. Bibliographic coupling, citation, and co-authorship analyses were conducted on the full dataset, while a filtered subset of 200 articles focusing on inflation expectations was used for keyword co-occurrence mapping. The findings indicate that the literature remains concentrated in developed economies, particularly the United States and the United Kingdom. However, emerging contributions from the Global South are gaining prominence. Thematic trends reveal growing attention to expectation anchoring, fiscal restraint, and information asymmetry, reflecting a shift toward more behavioral and institutional interpretations of inflation. Despite these developments, the incorporation of inflation expectations into local fiscal policy remains limited. Policy recommendations include integrating inflation expectations into fiscal forecasts, adopting scenario-based planning, and enhancing macroeconomic modeling capacity at the regional level. This research contributes to bridging global inflation theory with the practical needs of decentralized public finance systems.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of human resource flexibility and employee competence on employee performance at PT Pos Indonesia, Ternate Branch. In the increasingly competitive postal and logistics industry, organizations must adopt adaptive and competency-based human resource management. This research used a causal quantitative approach with 45 permanent employees as respondents, employing a structured questionnaire measured on a five-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression through SPSS version 25. The results showed that human resource flexibility has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, whereas employee competence does not have a significant impact. These findings suggest that adaptability and behavioral flexibility are stronger determinants of performance than individual competence in a bureaucratic public organization. This study contributes to human resource management literature by highlighting the strategic role of HR flexibility in enhancing employee performance within government-linked institutions.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital investment platforms and social media has transformed how Generation Z investors in Indonesia obtain financial information and make investment decisions. This study investigates the mediating role of herding behaviour in the relationships between finfluencer exposure, digital financial literacy, and digital investment decisions. A quantitative method was applied using an online survey of 280 Generation Z investors who actively use platforms such as Bibit, Ajaib, Bareksa, Pluang, and Pintu. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS to assess direct and indirect effects. The findings show that finfluencer exposure positively influences herding behaviour and digital investment decisions. Digital financial literacy negatively affects herding behaviour but positively influences digital investment decisions. Herding behaviour also positively affects digital investment decisions and significantly mediates both the finfluencer exposure–decision and literacy–decision relationships. These results highlight that social influence and financial competence jointly shape the investment behaviour of young digital investors. This study contributes to behavioural finance literature and offers implications for policymakers, educators, and digital investment platforms to strengthen financial literacy while managing social media influence.

Abstract

This community service (PkM) program was designed to empower youth in Nimbokrang Village, Jayapura Regency, through digital marketing training aimed at enhancing the sales of agricultural products. Despite the village’s rich potential in plantation commodities such as corn, chili, and tropical fruits, local farmers and youth traditionally relied on middlemen, leading to low profit margins. The program addressed these challenges by introducing participants to digital marketing strategies, with a focus on the effective use of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Training methods combined lectures, simulations, hands-on practice, and mentoring to equip 32 participants with practical skills in creating engaging content, managing online transactions, and interacting with customers. Results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, as well as their ability to produce and publish promotional content independently. The training fostered enthusiasm, creativity, and confidence among the youth, enabling them to expand market reach and reduce dependency on conventional marketing methods. Ultimately, this program not only supported local farmers in achieving more competitive prices but also encouraged the development of sustainable, digital-based business opportunities, contributing to broader economic growth in the community

Abstract

Tourism in Tanjung Puting National Park (TNTP) holds significant economic and ecological potential; however, increasing tourist visits also place pressure on environmental quality and wildlife habitats, requiring sustainable management strategies. This study aims to identify sustainable tourism development strategies in TNTP from an environmental economics perspective through a systematic literature review. The study reviewed 30 scientific publications published between 2021 and 2025 related to sustainable tourism, environmental economic valuation, community participation, and conservation governance. The findings indicate that zoning policies and visitor capacity restrictions effectively reduce environmental degradation in the park. Community participation through Community-Based Tourism programs has increased local welfare by approximately 22–35% while strengthening compliance with conservation practices. Furthermore, the economic valuation of ecosystem services in TNTP shows high potential value, although it has not been fully integrated into conservation funding mechanisms. The study concludes that integrating environmental economic policies, strengthening community capacity, and developing ecosystem service–based conservation financing are crucial for achieving sustainable tourism development in TNTP

Abstract

Organizational commitment is crucial to enhancing the performance of employees and the efficiency of the institutions of the public sector. Nevertheless, the issues of low engagement, lack of participation, and motivation remain problematic to many government organizations. These concerns underscore the need to explore psychological and structural aspects that determine the development of attachment by employees towards their place of work. This paper explores how employee empowerment, self  efficacy and perceived organizational support affect organizational commitment in a local government organization. The quantitative method was employed to collect data on 78 employees via a structured questionnaire and to analyze it with the help of the multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that organizational commitment is significantly enhanced with the empowerment of employees and self  efficacy, whereas organizational support positively though not very strong. The three variables combined can account 66.7% of organizational commitment variance. The results highlight the necessity to tighten the participatory working conditions, build trust in the employees to use their skills, and develop better support systems within organizations. Such implication give recommendations to leaders in the public sector who want to ensure that they have a more committed, motivated, and resilient workforce

Abstract

These researchers analyzed micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Bantul Regency, Indonesia, to determine whether dynamic capabilities have a positive impact on sustainable innovation performance.  In general, MSMEs in Indonesia play a crucial role in sustaining a resilient economy, which has proven to be able to withstand uncertain conditions. In developing countries such as Indonesia, MSMEs are expected to effectively manage both internal and external resources to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage. In this study, data were collected from 176 MSMEs that met the criteria of possessing dynamic capabilities in four main aspects: sensing capabilities, learning capabilities, integrating capabilities, and coordinating capabilities. The respondents in this study were managers or owners of MSMEs. Using regression analysis, the researchers found that these four aspects had a positive effect on the sustainable innovation performance of MSMEs in Bantul Regency. Thus, it has been proven that managing all aspects of dynamic capabilities is a strategic step to improve MSME performance, especially in terms of sustainable innovation.

Abstract

The results of this study indicate that the use of the QRIS payment system has a positive and significant effect on the economic development of MSMEs in Jayapura Regency. This can be interpreted to mean that the use of the QRIS payment system has a positive impact on increasing the income of MSMEs in Jayapura Regency (t-count value of 5.782 t-table value of 1.701, and a significance value for the QRIS payment system variable (X) of 0.000 0.05). Furthermore, based on statements from MSME respondents in Jayapura Regency who use QRIS, several constraints were identified, namely: some users still do not fully understand how to use QRIS, network connectivity issues, delays in real-time/instant fund disbursement, the existence of QRIS usage fees charged to merchants, and the absence of transaction fee discounts or promotions as offered by payment applications such as OVO, GoPay, and others. However, these constraints are perceived as not having a significant overall impact on their business income. This is evidenced by the fact that out of 30 respondents, only 19 respondents stated that these constraints did not significantly affect their business income.
