Abstract

This paper aims to provide a benchmark for average company value and operating profit margins in the energy sector. This paper analyzes the average company value and operating profit margin in the energy industry sector from 2021 to 2024 and compares them with those of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) and PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS). The research method used is descriptive quantitative comparative analysis. Secondary data were obtained from annual financial reports and publications of the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2021–2024 period in the energy sector for 191 energy sector companies. The results show that the average company value across the energy sector from 2021 to 2024 was 1.56, while the average company value for PTBA was 1.53 and the average company value for PGAS was 0.69. This indicates that PTBA's company value is almost equivalent to the company value across the energy sector, while PGAS must strive to increase its company value. The average operating profit margin for the entire energy sector is 0.17, while the average operating profit margin for PT BA is 2.55 and the operating profit margin for PGAS is 0.15. This indicates that PTBA's operating profit margin is much larger than the average operating profit margin for the entire energy sector

Abstract

Generation Z consumer loyalty is an important concern for café business actors because this demographic group is increasingly playing a role in shaping market trends and purchasing patterns. This study aims to analyze the influence of customer experience, brand awareness, and café atmosphere on the loyalty of Generation Z consumers in Kediri City. A quantitative approach was used with a purposive sampling technique on 100 respondents who had visited and made purchases at local cafes. Data collection was carried out through a Likert scale questionnaire, then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that customer experience and brand awareness had a positive and significant effect on loyalty, while the café atmosphere had no significant influence. Customer experience is the most dominant factor in influencing loyalty. These findings indicate that improving customer experience and strengthening brand awareness need to be strategic priorities for café businesses in building Generation Z consumer loyalty. Further research can expand the context of the region or age group to improve generalization.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between strategic entrepreneurship, business model agility, and the growth of green MSMEs in Indonesia, with an emphasis on the moderating role of adaptation to a dynamic business environment. This study was prompted by increasing global market volatility and the importance of sustainability-oriented business models for small and medium-sized enterprises. Using an explanatory quantitative design, data were collected from 287 green MSMEs in West Java, Yogyakarta, and East Java between April and August 2025 and analysed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The results show that strategic entrepreneurship significantly enhances the growth of green SMEs, both directly and indirectly through business model agility, while adaptation to a dynamic environment strengthens these relationships. These findings highlight that entrepreneurial capability and agility serve as critical mechanisms for sustaining growth in uncertain markets. This study contributes to the integration of strategic entrepreneurship theory, dynamic capability theory, and contingency theory, with practical implications for SME leaders and policymakers to promote innovation, adaptability, and sustainable competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of motivation, organizational communication, and compensation on employee retention at Cafe Paddy Breeze in Warujayeng, Nganjuk. The research uses a quantitative associative approach involving all café employees to provide an objective understanding of the factors that encourage employees to stay. The findings show that motivation and compensation have a significant positive effect on employee retention, while organizational communication does not show a significant individual impact. Nevertheless, the three variables together contribute significantly to retention. The study adds value to human resource management literature, particularly within the food and beverage sector, by analyzing these variables simultaneously. Practically, the results offer guidance for managers in improving motivation, strengthening communication, and ensuring competitive compensation to reduce turnover. This study is limited by its small sample size and single research site, indicating the need for broader future studies to enhance generalizability.
