Abstract

This study investigates the effect of stablecoins, particularly Tether (USDT), on the Indonesian capital market represented by the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI). Rooted in blockchain technology evolution and the growing effect of crypto-asset on global markets, this research seeks to examine whether the relatively stable characteristics of stablecoins produce different impacts compared to volatile crypto-asset such Bitcoin (BTC). Using monthly time-series data from October 2018 to October 2024 and applying multiple linear regression analysis, the findings reveal that Stablecoin Price has a negative and significant effect on the JCI, whereas Stablecoin Volume exhibits insignificant effect. This implies that a decrease in stablecoin prices corresponds with an increase in stock index performance, indicating investors’ preference to shift from crypto-assets to equities when stablecoin prices fall. The absence of volume effects further suggests that investors do not perceive stablecoin trading activity as an investment signal due to its low volatility and value stabilization mechanisms pegged to the USD. The study contributes theoretically to the literature on digital asset integration into traditional financial systems and provides practical insights for policymakers and investors in designing regulatory frameworks and diversification strategies in the Indonesian financial market. Keywords: Stablecoin; Tether (USDT); Bitcoin (BTC); Jakarta Composite Index (JCI); Crypto-asset; Blockchain Technology; Capital Market; Portfolio Diversification; Indonesia

Abstract

This research investigates the content strategy of traditional craft MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in response to engagement instability on TikTok. The study's significance lies in its effort to fill the literature gap regarding the impact of algorithmic uncertainty on the creative decisions of micro-entrepreneurs. Its objective is to analyze the meaning and adaptation strategies employed by the owner of "Tas Anyaman Bu Erte" (Bu Erte's Woven Bags) in managing fluctuations in audience involvement. Utilizing a qualitative case study approach, the research findings reveal that a reactive response to engagement instability actually triggers a simplification of content into static formats, which further decreases interaction. The findings indicate that audiences value content that transparently showcases the craftsmanship process more highly than content that merely follows viral trends. The study's implication suggests the necessity of shifting focus toward a hybrid content strategy that balances trend adaptation with product quality education to build sustainable customer trust.

Abstract

Delays in budget realization represent a critical challenge in public sector financial management, as they undermine the efficiency and effectiveness of government program implementation. This study aims to identify publication trends in the budget performance and budget implementation literature over a two-decade period. The study uses a combination of bibliometrics using VOSviewer and the PRISMA method to obtain appropriate articles. Forty-nine articles were analyzed in the initial stage based on the Lens.org database. After going through a selection process based on exclusion and inclusion criteria, 18 articles were obtained, which were extracted in depth for thematic synthesis. Bibliometrics show the dominance of budget performance and implementation themes, with the latest trend towards evaluation and transparency. Topics such as efficiency and performance evaluation are still rarely studied and can potentially become the focus of further research. This study is one of the first bibliometric analyses to explore the relationship between budget implementation and budget performance using the PRISMA approach and bibliometrics via VOSviewer in the past 20 years
