Jurnal Dedikasia: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat (e-ISSN : 2798-0715 | p-ISSN : 2798-1290) is a journal which published by Rumah Jurnal Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Bukittinggi, West Sumatera Indonesia. It specializes in research on the Engagement and empowerment of Muslim society from the perspective of social welfar. The interdisciplinary approach to communities study are used as a method to discuss and overcome current reality or social community issues. The topic includes fieldwork studies with different viewpoints and interdisciplinary as : 1. Community Service and Empowerment of Disaster-Prone, Isolated and Marginalized community 2. Community Service and Empowerment of education. 3. Community Service and Empowerment of Islam Society and Institutions. 4. Community Service and Empowerment of Socio-economic. 5. Community Service and Empowerment of Science and Technology The journal is published twice a year in June and December. This journal is a peer-reviewed online journal dedicated to the publication of high-quality research focused on research, implementation, of policy about community engagement and empowerment.

<![CDATA[Program GEMBIRA ini merupakan salah satu program pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) di Desa Jago dalam rangka menumbuh kembangkan minat dan motivasi para pemuda, remaja dan pelajar untuk gemar belajar bahasa Inggris dan Arab. Gerakan ini dilatar belakangi oleh realita potensi yang dimiliki oleh Desa Jago dalam bentuk aset lembaga pendidikan yang begitu banyak di satu sisi, namun tidak dibarengi oleh kesadaran akan pentingnya pembelajaran dan penguasaan bahasa asing (Inggris dan Arab) di sisi yang lain. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan kondisi sosial-kemasyarakatan masyarakat Desa Jago Kecamatan Praya, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, NTB, dan mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan program “Gerakan Melek Bahasa Inggris dan Arab†(GEMBIRA) di Desa tersebut.Dengan menggunakan metode PAR (Participatory Action Research), penulis beserta Tim mencoba untuk terlibat aktif dengan ikut berpartisipasi secara langsung dalam pelaksaan program GEMBIRA ini. Program ini terindikasi cukup berhasil terlihat dari tingginya antusiasme pemuda, remaja, maupun para peserta didik mengikuti program pembelajaran yang dikemas menggunkan berbagai metode yang telah dipilih seperti bernyanyi dan bermain. Setiap sore para peserta didik selalu bersemangat menunggu untuk diajarkan kembali mufrodat atau kosa kata baru dengan metode yang membuat mereka mudah memahami dan mengingatnya. Setiap kali Tim ke lokasi TPQ, maka akan terdengar beberapa orang anak yang sedang bernyanyi mufrodat yang diajarkan sebelumnya, sambil mengingat-ingat dengan temannya.]]>

<![CDATA[This service activity aims to equip primary teacher education students who will carry out practical field experience in schools and madrasas on how to compose and develop online and offline learning tools. The ability to develop learning tools is a very important thing that must be mastered by prospective teachers. This mentoring activity method is carried out online using the zoom application with 80 participants. The approach used is the lecture method, meaning that the material is explained first and then followed by a question and answer session. The result of this mentoring activity is that there are still student teacher candidates who will carry out practical field experience who have not been able to develop and develop learning tools, especially developing the latest single sheet lesson plan. Based on the results of these mentoring activities, it can be concluded that: there are still some practical field experience students who do not know the latest policies regarding the use of one-sheet lesson plans in schools and are still unable to prepare lesson plans properly and correctly according to the standard of the learning process. From these conclusions, the authors recommend: to prospective practical field experience students to improve literacy before going to school and to Lecturers who are in charge of Learning Planning courses in conducting comprehensive evaluations]]>

<![CDATA[This paper discusses the Empowerment of Women's Rights in Lundang and the Purpose of Empowering Women's Rights Based on the Concept of Human Rights in Jorong Lundang. The purpose of this study is to reveal or describe how women's rights are empowered and the purpose of this empowerment is based on the concept of human rights in Lundang. The method used by the author in this study is a qualitative method, namely a research method carried out by observation and interviews while the approach used is snowball sampling. The results of this study show that in realizing gender equality, one of them is by mainstreaming the empowerment of women's rights in Lundang, we can see this empowerment that Lundang women are no longer only involved in the domestic world but have also entered the public sphere, namely working as one of the by establishing the Panjaik Patah Sulaman Gallery house and forming PKK activities as a forum to increase women's creativity and self-confidence so that no more women are intimidated and banned from working in Lundang.]]>

<![CDATA[Permasalahan utama dalam penanganan kemiskinan di Indonesia adalah belum berhasilnya penanggulangan kemiskinan di pertanian dan perdesaan. Jumlah penduduk miskin di desa jauh lebih besar dibandingkan dengan penduduk miskin di kota. Seperti halnya masyarakat Desa Senebok Cantek Kecamatan Manyak Payed Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang ini, Basis ekonomi desa umumnya pertanian, sehingga pengurangan kemiskinan pada rumah tangga pertanian dipercaya sebagai kunci mewujudkan penurunan angka kemiskinan. Salah satu penyebab kemiskinan yang tidak sering dibahas adalah bencana atau wabah penyakit. Wabah virus corona yang lebih dikenal dengan pandemi Covid-19 telah mengguncang dunia sejak akhir tahun 2019. Pandemiini menyebar secara global meliputi area geografis yang luas. Pada awal Maret 2020, Covid-19 masuk ke Indonesia dengan jumlah terinfeksi yang terus meningkat dan wilayah sebaran yang semakin meluas, sehingga dinyatakan sebagai bencana nasional nonalam. Pemberlakuan berbagai kebijakan dalam rangka mengatasi penyebaran atau upaya memutus rantai penyebaran Covid-19 mengakibatkan banyak kegiatan ekonomi yang mengalami kontraksi bahkan terhenti berproduksi. Hal ini mengakibatkan terjadinya peningkatan pengangguran, penurunan tingkat produktivitas individu maupun perusahaan, dan mendorong munculnya orang miskin baru yang secara agregat meningkatkan jumlah penduduk miskin.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service activity  was motivated by low the participation of people at  Jorong Sungai Talang to join social program that collage students of KKN PPM Terpadu Tuah Sakato 202 done  there  actively. People seen like uncare with the collage students that do KKN program there and people just focus on their activities.  Because of that research about correlation between peoples’ background of work with their participation in any program at their village was needed. So the aim of this research was to find out the correlation between peoples’ background work with their participation to join the social program at their village. To get the answer of activity question of this activity used descriptive qualitative. Miles and Huberman model was technic analysis of the data used in this research. People around Jorong Sungai Talang were informant of this activity. The instrument use in this activity was observation, documentation and interview. This activity got several result. First the people at Jorong Sungai Talang just join the social program in cleanliness only. Then in any other social program they can not participation actively yet because their mindset which said that the day is the time to focus in garden.]]>

<![CDATA[Kinerja dilakukan untuk menentukan bagaimana suatu entitas unit kerja mengelola pengunaan sumber daya secara ekonomis, efektitif, dan efesien dalam memenuhi misi dan tujuan entitas khususnya di inspektorat kota Bukittinggi .Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Sasaran wawancaranya adalah pegawai Inspektorat kota Bukittinggi, seperti kasubag perencanaan dan pelaporan ataupun pegawai yang berwenang. Pengumpulan data mengunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisisnya mengunakan analisa kualitatif (non statistik) yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif , dengan mengunakan cara berpikir induktif. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan Inspektorat kota Bukittinggi telah menjalankan audit kinerja sesaui dengan aturan yang diterapkan dan undang-undang yang diberlakukan oleh Walikota Bukittinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa audit Inspektorat kota Bukittinggi ketika melakukan audit kinerja terhadapat SKPD sudah efektif dengan aturan yang ada, dimana Inspektorat kota Bukittinggi ketika melakukan audit dan mendapatkan temuan-temuan terhadap yang di audit Inspektorat kota Bukittinggi memberikan Rekomendasi perbaikan kinerja terhadap yang di audit. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inspektorat kota Bukittinggi dapat diketahui dan dianalisis bahwa efektifitas audit kinerja inspektorat kota Bukittinggi telah menerapkan aturan piagam audit intern yang disahkan oleh Walikota Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam membantu mencapai keefektifitasan audit kinerja di pemerintahan Inspektorat kota Bukittinggi.]]>

<![CDATA[Since the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, the presence of smartphones is felt to be very important, especially for students. The presence of a smartphone in the family must be addressed wisely and prudently. Because in essence, a smartphone is a technology that is analogous to a knife with 2 sides. Smartphones can have a positive impact if used in a positive direction and vice versa, they will cut and self-destruct if used in a negative direction. Awareness of the negative impact of smartphone use in early childhood should be a concern for parents because it can reduce the healthy quality and social life of adolescents. Early childhood is the next generation for religion, homeland, and nation which must be formed with the basic provisions of character so that they grow and develop into pious children who are assets for both parents. The target of this PkM activity is to provide counseling to teachers and students of MDTA Al-Mukminun Biaro, Kab. Religion. To find out the level of effectiveness of this PkM activity, an assessment was carried out using the media questionnaire instrument. Based on the processing of the questionnaire, the result was that this PkM activity obtained an average score of 82.71% in the good category. Even though this activity has obtained good results based on the assessment of the MDTA teachers, consistent efforts are needed and an increase in the effectiveness of PkM implementation for the next period. Efforts to increase the effectiveness of PkM implementation are also based on several suggestions and input submitted by MDTA teachers through effectiveness questionnaires.]]>

The development of social media is a branch of the development of information technology into an extraordinary phenomenon. Content creators have sprung up from both professionals and amateurs who are still in the curious stage. SMKN 8 Pekanbaru is one of the pioneer schools that has a major that is close to the development of content creators. Training activities make content creators necessary for students as an initial provision. Community Service activities have been carried out at the school on December 14, 2022 for students and have succeeded in increasing student understanding from the results of the questionnaire measurements provided. The output of activities is in the form of news of activities published on news portals and scientific journals published in national community service journals.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACTUMKM play a vital role in societal welfare, focusing on improving marketing management for increased sales. The research aims to create a practical management model supporting MSME productivity and development. Comprehensive training in business aspects, including marketing, production, HR, and finance, is crucial for UMKM. Continuous monitoring is necessary in their journey, utilizing SWOT analysis to determine marketing strategies and adapt to the business environment. The analysis assesses internal factors (Strengths and Weaknesses) and external factors or competitors (Opportunities and Threats). Identifying a lack of knowledge, the study recommends comprehensive training in all aspects. Four marketing strategies are proposed: S-O Strategy advocates product innovation and aggressive promotions with online sales. In the W-O strategy, attention to market needs and human resource quality is emphasized. The S-T strategy highlights product features and promotion innovation. In the W-T strategy, targeting markets, adapting to consumer wishes, and product adjustments are crucial for UMKM competitiveness.]]>

<![CDATA[Education makes a person get information and also community members, especially elementary school children, are future assets. Therefore, it is necessary to develop reading and writing. One way to carry out reading and writing coaching is to use the CABACA book media. The purpose of using CABACA media is to make it easier for students to recognize letters, spell words, read words, and read sentences. The purpose of this training is to reduce the illiteracy of students in Kanrung Village, especially students at SDN No 213 Sabbang by coaching learning to read and to write in school. The type of CABACA method used is phenomenological research with a qualitative approach located in Kanrung Village, Central Sinjai District, Sinjai Regency, while the data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The results of fostering learning to read and write using CABACA media can reduce illiteracy and improve the reading ability of students in Kanrung Village.]]>
