Furthermore, the data collection technique used was saturation sampling, when samples were drawn from every member of the population, i,e, 45 employees of Bank Jatim, branch of Dr. Soetomo. The method of data analysis that was employed was the Partial Least Square (PLS) program with a software instrument of SmartPLS 3.0 version. The findings indicate that while work-life balance has a favorable but negligible impact on workers' performance, self-efficacy has a beneficial influence on employees' performance. Meanwhile, employee performance is positively and significantly impacted by organizational commitment. Moreover, both self-efficacy and work-life balance has a substantial and favorable impact on employees’ performance through organizational dedication. Similarly, work-life balance significantly and favorably affects employees’ performance through organizational dedication.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a model of halal product purchasing behavior on social commerce platforms by integrating the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) and TPB (Theory of Planned Behavior) models, as well as additional variables of halal lifestyle and privacy awareness. Data were collected from 450 Gen Z Muslim respondents in Central Java, Indonesia, and analyzed using PLS-SEM, a technique effective in evaluating construct validity, reliability, and inter-variable relationships. The results indicate that perceived usefulness and privacy awareness significantly influence attitudes toward purchasing halal products, while perceived ease of use does not have a significant effect. The TPB factors (attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control) together with privacy awareness were found to form strong behavioral intention. Conversely, halal lifestyle does not significantly influence behavioral intention. However, halal lifestyle, perceived behavioral control, and behavioral intention significantly contribute to explaining halal product purchase behavior. These findings suggest that social commerce platforms should strengthen features supporting halal lifestyles and enhance app usability as strategies to deepen consumer engagement and strengthen business performance in the halal market.

Abstract

The Korean Wave (Hallyu) phenomenon has encouraged corporations to compete for collaborations with K-pop artists and celebrities to boost sales and increase market share. This trend is also evident in Indonesia, where global brands aim to leverage the significant influence of K-pop idols. This study examines the impact of BTS, one of the most influential K-pop groups, as a brand ambassador for major corporations, such as Samsung, Coway, Hyundai, Puma, and Fila. The research uses secondary data to analyze stock price changes before and after BTS’s endorsement. The findings indicate that the effect of BTS on stock price varies depending on the nature of each company’s relationship and marketing strategy with BTS. However, from a broader corporate perspective, there is no consistent or significant link between the appointment of BTS as brand ambassador and changes in stock prices across the companies observed.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Leader–Member Exchange (LMX) and Team–Member Exchange (TMX) on work engagement with job satisfaction serving as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 182 employees of a regional water supply company in Banjarmasin and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The analysis demonstrates that both LMX and TMX have significant positive effects on employees’ job satisfaction and work engagement. Furthermore, job satisfaction serves as a bridge linking social exchange quality (LMX and TMX) and work engagement. Collectively, these insights highlight the importance of supportive and trusting relationships in enhancing employees’ satisfaction and engagement within their organizations.
