Abstract

Customer satisfaction is the key for companies to win business competition to achieve this the role of promotion, market orientation and service quality becomes very important. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of promotion and market orientation on customer satisfaction by mediating service quality at Honda Pontang Perkasa motorcycle dealers, Serang Regency. This study used primary data from the results of the distribution of questionnaires to 160 respondents using accidental sampling or convenience sampling techniques. Method of analysis using the PLS-SEM approach. The results of the study show that promotion has a direct effect on service quality and customer satisfaction, market orientation does not affect service quality and customer satisfaction and service quality has a direct effect on customer satisfaction, in addition, there is a mediation effect between promotion on customer satisfaction through service quality and no mediation effect between market orientation and customer satisfaction through service quality

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the long-term impacts of health capital on economic growth in Southeast Asia from 2000 – 2021. This study employed the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) model to estimate the long-run and short-run nexus among the variables. Furthermore, FMOLS, DOLS and CCR were used for a more robust examination of the empirical findings. The results of this study show that health capital (proxy by health expenditure per capita) has a long-run relationship with economic growth (proxy by GDP per capita) and its impact on economic growth is positive and significant, this implies that an increase in the health expenditure per capita will increase GDP per capita. In addition, the error correction term (ECT) estimation result is negative and significant (-1,395) implying disequilibrium of short-term shocks in the previous year will experience a long-term balance adjustment in the current year with average speed of 139,5% per year

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze annual inflation and exchange rates in view of the real condition of Indonesian coffee exports in 5 (five) European Union Countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, and Netherlands) in 2016-2019. This research  method with a qualitative approach and uses secondary data. The results of this study is, inflation condition in Indonesia and 5 (five) European Union Countries using the formula for calculating the consumer price index in 2016-2019 is Indonesia’s average annual inflation of 3,12% and the annual average inflation of 5 (five) European Union Countries at 1,5% and classified into the type of mild inflation.The condition of the annual axchange rate in export activities is a type of exchange rate pegged to the Dollar/USD and tends to fluctuate. Indonesia’s low inflation and rising exchange rate cuase the volume and value of exports to increase and when the highest exchange rate occurs, it causes a decrease in the volume and value of coffee exports in 5 (five) European Union Countries

Abstract

Entrepreneurial characteristics and competencies are two important factors needed by entrepreneur Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to face the environmental challenges in the dynamic world of business and achieve high business performance. This study aimed to examine the effect of the entrepreneurial characteristics and entrepreneurial competencieson SMEs performance. The study was conducted on SMEs in Serang. The research sample is 69 SMEs were determined through purposive sampling method. Data were collected through a survey with questionnaires. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling with Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results showed that entrepreneurial characteristics  have significant positive effect on entrepreneurial competencies, but entrepreneurial characteristics have not significant effect on the SMEs performance and entrepreneurial competencies have significant positive effect on the performance of SMEs. The results also indicate that entrepreneurial competence full mediation the relationship between entrepreneurial characteristics and SMEs performance.

Abstract

Unlimited information exchange in the modern era presents a new name for the media user audience, one of which is netizen +62. In Indonesia, the power of netizens +62 cannot be doubted, especially in constructing a growing social reality issue that is shared on social media. This study aims to describe the pros and cons of the existence of netizens +62 studied from the point of view of communication. The study used a qualitative approach with virtual ethnographic methods. This study concludes that netizen +62 has a significant role in influencing the flow of information and interactivity on social media. Netizens +62 in this case are no longer just objects of information exposure, but play an active role in controlling the flow of information that occurs, so that they have the power to build their 'own' construction related to phenomenal conflicts that are shared on social media

Abstract

The pandemic period encourage the application of digitalization in the marketing field, the application of marketing culture is currently supported by e-commerce. On the other hand, students who should be in the potential group have been able to take advantage of this moment to develop creativity that results in innovation, at least as a first step as an effort to participate in and develop an interest in entrepreneurship. The purpose of this study is to analyze what factors are the pioneers of interest in entrepreneurship in marketing research students at the Faculty of Business, Buddhi Dharma University. As part of the “small research” activity, the researcher used a survey method and was included in the descriptive statistics group. The population taken was all students who took marketing courses in the odd year 2022/2023 which opened 40, thus the researchers took the entire population as a sample in this study. The analysis technique uses factor analysis. The results of this study indicate that personality and self-motivation factors are the dominant factors in the interest in entrepreneurship among students

Abstract

This study aims to understand and evaluate mediation as one of the factors for the achievement of the performance assessment of religious courts. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the data collection of interview, observation and documentation. The informants in the study were 3 who played a role in the mediation process at the Wates Religious Court in Yogyakarta. Data were analyzed by reduction, display, and verification. The results of the study found that (1) the success of mediation has not been maximized because there are partially successful and some are unsuccessful (2) factors inhibiting the mediation process are competency and discipline of the mediator in fulfilling the schedule. (3) Efforts to increase the success of mediation, namely by increasing the competence of the mediator and improving the discipline of the mediator. The leadership of the Religious Courts also needs to carry out monitoring and evaluation of the competence and discipline of the mediator and evaluate the mediation on an ongoing basis

Abstract

Tax Avoidane is an effort to reduce tax legally to reduce or even eliminate the tax burden. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of profitability ratios, leverage, and sales growth on tax avoidance in pharmaceutical manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017-2021 period. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive statistical approach. The population in this study were 12 companies with a sample of 8 pharmaceutical manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017-2021 period. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling, with a research time of 5 years and 40 data were obtained. The results of this study show that partially the profitability variables proxied by ROA and leverage as proxied by DER have a significant effect on tax avoidance, and sales growth has a negative effect on tax avoidance, while profitability as proxied by ROE and leverage as proxied by DAR has no effect on tax. avoidance. However, simultaneously variable X1, X2,  X3,  X4 and X5 had  significant effect on variable Y

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of firm size, firm age and leverage on earnings management in food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2021 period simultaneously and partially. The method used is a quantitative method that is intended for large data and in the form of numbers, including classical assumption test analysis and assumption test of data analysis with computer assistance through SPSS version 25 software. Based on the results of the t test (partial) the variables of firm size (X1) and earnings management (Y). The value of tcount > ttable (2,964 > 1,669) with a significance level of 0,004 (0,004 < 0,05). Company age (X2) and earnings management (Y) variables. The value of tcount < ttable (0.381 < 1.669). Leverage (X3) and earnings management (Y) variables. The value of tcount > ttable (2.509 > 1.669) with a significance level of 0.015 (0.015 < 0.05). Meanwhile, the results of the F test (simultaneous) of firm size (X1), firm age (X2) and leverage (X3) on earnings management (Y). The value of Fcount > Ftable (4.307 > 2.75) with a significance level of 0.008 (0.008 < 0.05). Based on the results of the study, firm size, firm age and leverage simultaneously have a significant effect on earnings management, partially firm size and leverage have a significant effect on earnings management, while firm age has no significant effect on earnings management

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the direct and indirect influence between the variables of paternalistic leadership style (X1), work environment (X2), organizational commitment ( Z ) on employee performance ( Y ). The research method used in this study is a survey method with a correlational quantitative approach, the data analysis technique used in this study uses parametric statistical data analysis techniques. The analytical tools used for hypothesis testing in this study include multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 26 which is then followed by path analysis. The number of samples in this study was 103 employees of PT. Parkland World Indonesia 1-Serang. The results of the study state that the Paternalistic Leadership Style (X1) has a direct and significant influence on organizational commitment ( Z ), the Work Environment (X2) has a direct and significant influence on organizational  commitment ( Z ), Paternalistic Leadership Style (X1) and Work Environment (X2) have a direct and direct influence on organizational commitment ( Z ), Paternalistic Leadership Style Variable (X1) has a direct and significant influence on employee performance ( Y ), Work Environment (X2) has a direct and significant influence on organizational commitment ( Z ), organizational commitment ( Z ) has a direct and significant influence on Employee Performance ( Y ), Paternalistic Leadership Style (X1 ), Work Environment (X2), and Organizational Commitment ( Z ) have a joint and direct influence on Employee Performance ( Y ), Paternalistic Leadership Style Variable (X1) has Indirect influence on Employee Performance ( Y ) with Organizational Commitment ( Z ) as Intervening Variable and Work Environment Variable (X2) has an indirect effect on Employee Performance ( Y ) with Organizational Commitment ( Z ) as Intervening Variable
