Abstract

The exponential function as a mathematical concept plays an important role in the corpus of mathematical knowledge, but unfortunately students have problems grasping it. Paper exposes example of exponential example of exponential function application in real world. One of the most prevalent application of exponential function involves growth and decay models. Exponential growth and decay show up in a host of natural application. From population Growth and continuously compounded interest to radioactive decay and Newton’s law of cooling, exponential function are ubiquitous in nature. In this section, we examine exponential growth and decay in the context of some of the application. In the preceding section, we examined a population growth problem in which the population grew at a fixed percentage each year. In that case, we found that the population can be described by exponential function. A similar analysis will show that any process in which a quantity grows by a fixed percentage each year can be modeled by an exponential function. Compound interest is good example of such a process. This work is motivated by the works of [1-15, 22]. Other example of exponential function are bacterial growth, bacterial decay, population decline, are obtained in this project.

Abstract

Low learning motivation and student learning outcomes cannot be separated from the influence of the learning process implemented. The application of technology based on teacher digital literacy competencies greatly influences student motivation. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review method or literature review. Several research results totaling twelve show that there is a significant impact of the use of technology in learning on student motivation. So it can be concluded that teacher digital literacy competency is very important in carrying out learning.

Abstract

Among the politicians who utilize social media to communicate about politics is Raden Muhammad Khalil Prasetyo. This political message is intended at his supporters, the residents of Medan City. Political players can draw in voters, engage in direct communication with the public, and have private discussions with them using social media. This study attempts to identify the political communication patterns on Instagram of Raden Muhammad Khalil Prasetyo and the advantages that he derives from using the platform. Using descriptive qualitative research techniques, this study looks at how to use the data collected to address current issues. This essay presents, examines, interprets, and conducts direct interviews with informants as the key data source for the author. The study's findings demonstrate that a politician must talk gently and courteously while interacting with the general populace. The people will view the politician favorably as a result of this. You need Instagram management abilities to make a favorable impression, such publishing videos of engaging activities rather than dull ones. He needs to make the most of Instagram's features to grow his following and make it easier for others to communicate with him.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the factors supporting the achievement of the objectives of teaching grammar in the eighth grade of the Islamic Middle School Quran memorization Foundation of the Islamic Center of North Sumatra Medan. The intentional approach is qualitative research. The results are that the supporting factors for achieving grammar teaching goals more influential is sincerity of intent. Because sincerity of intention will facilitate matters related to teaching Other supporting factors are the method used in good teaching with a beautiful principle, encouragement by the teacher, the intelligence of the students, a high desire in the hearts of the students to study and a capable teacher with the subject that he has reached. The method used is standard and inductive.

Abstract

Writing is one of the productive communication skills in the language. This is the process by which someone changes the language code from spoken language to written text. The writing skill has two divisions: calligraphy, dictation, and composition. Dictation is one of the important subjects in teaching the Arabic language. Hence, dictation is the basis for success in writing skill. Teaching dictation looks at how to write correct Arabic grammar. Dictation is considered a person's ability to write letters in the Arabic language. Dictation is a basic learning skill in writing that requires a special method to master it. The method used is the quantitative method with an experimental method design with a post-test. The design for this research is the true experimental design with the type of posttest method (posttest only control group). The researcher takes a sample of forty-eight students from the second semester of middle school. This number is divided into two groups, group A and group B, and the researcher takes these two groups because group A is the experimental group and group B is the control group. From this, the researcher makes 24 students in the experimental class and 24 students in the control class. As for analyzing the data using a statistical method, SPSS 18, and the population size was 56 and 48 people were sampled. The result on the effect of the crossword language game is the reciprocal hypothesis, that is, the result in the t-test is 4.51 greater, while the result in the t-table is 02.01063.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of using the "Guess the Word" teaching model on vocabulary comprehension among middle school female students at Abdullah bin Masoud Institute in Asahan, North Sumatra. The methodology used in this research is field quantitative research of an experimental type, utilizing statistical methods. The results of this research show that the average vocabulary score of students using the "Guess the Word" teaching model is 82.32, while the average vocabulary score of students without using the model is 62.14. The t-test result of to 3.025 is greater than the critical value of tt at a 5% significance level, which is 2.018. Therefore, the null hypothesis is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. In conclusion, the use of the "Guess the Word" teaching model has a positive effect on vocabulary comprehension among middle school female students at Abdullah bin Masoud Institute in Asahan, North Sumatra.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the method of teaching the Arabic language used in the seventh intermediate grade at Al-Durra Maidan School, as well as its advantages and disadvantages. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method and the methods used to collect data are observation and interview. . The approaches are in a step-by-step method from Miles dan Huberman. The result of the research is that the methods of teaching the Arabic language in the seventh intermediate grade are the lecture method, the memorization method, the question training method, and the response method. The application of the teaching method in teaching the Arabic language in the seventh intermediate grade at Al-Durra Maidan School follows the same method according to the method. The advantages in all teaching methods support the learning process, and the disadvantages of all teaching methods are a factor that hinders the effectiveness of learning.

Abstract

The research aims to improve the speaking skill using the story method, a procedural classroom research among second-year middle school students at the Imam Nawawi Rentu Prabat Institute. Use this type of data collection method because observations, numbers, and opinions related to a particular phenomenon or problem are not the type of data collection method. This type of research is an action classroom research with two cycles consisting of two meetings in one cycle, each cycle consisting of: planning, implementation, monitoring and reflection. The research population means students in the second year of middle school at Imam Nawawi Rinto Prabat Institute, numbering 35 students. The method used by the researcher is the total sampling method. . The results showed that with the story method there was a pleasant atmosphere so that the learning results of the students increased, that is, from the results of the first cycle to the second cycle there was an increase. In the first cycle the number of students who obtained perfect grades was 11 students or 31%. Incomplete grades were in The first cycle 24 students or 69%, while in the second cycle there was an increase in complete grades to 30 students or 86%, and incomplete grades in the second cycle students 5 or 14%, an increase of 55%. It was found that the story method can improve the learning outcomes of speaking Arabic among eighth grade students at Imam Nawawi Islamic Boarding School Rantau Prabat.

Abstract

What is meant by vocabulary comprehension is a person's ability to use the vocabulary he possesses to communicate and express ideas with the listener, whether in writing or orally. This ability appears when developing linguistic skills such as speaking skill, listening skill, writing skill, and reading good Arabic. The meaning of memorizing the Qur’an is the attempt to enter the verses of the Qur’an into the chest and preserve it from loss and forgetfulness and to try to read it without fault, that is, without looking at the Holy Qur’an, ensuring it, preparing it, and being upright in it. Preserving what has been memorized, protecting it from loss, preventing it from forgetfulness, mental loss, and loss, and being present must have knowledge of Arabic. From it is impossible for someone who meditates on the Holy Qur’an without knowledge of the Arabic language. Research question: Is there a relationship between memorizing the Holy Qur’an among female students in the second grade of middle school and their ability to comprehend vocabulary at the Abdullah bin Masoud Asahi Institute? What was its strength and direction? The aim of writing this research is to find out the relationship between memorizing the Holy Qur’an among female students in the second year of school. Intermediate level and his ability to comprehend vocabulary at the Abdullah bin Masoud Asahi Institute. The method used in this research is the quantitative relational method and the research method used is the statistical method with a program and the result of this research is that there is a moderate relationship between memorizing the Holy Qur’an among female students in the second year of middle school and their ability to comprehend vocabulary at the Abdullah bin Masoud Asahi Institute. The value of the coefficient. The correlation is 0,476 and its direction is the same.

Abstract

Speaking skill is a productive skill that involves the process of learning various aspects of the Arabic language. To acquire this skill, one needs to understand grammar, morphology, vocabulary, style, and meanings. Proficiency in speaking Arabic requires comprehension of the elements and rules of the language, including vocabulary acquisition, sentence structure, speech context, and the ability to understand the speaker's language. Vocabulary is a very important linguistic element that must be mastered, used in both spoken and written language. This issue leads to weaknesses in vocabulary comprehension and the presence of excuses for not speaking Arabic in certain situations. The methodology used in this research is a quantitative correlational method, and the data analysis technique employed is the statistical method using Pearson's product-moment correlation coefficient. The research results indicate that there is a moderate positive correlation between vocabulary comprehension and students' academic achievement in speaking skills for the first-grade students at the Abdullah bin Masoud Institute in Asahan, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.474.
