Abstract

Progression-Free Survival (PFS) measures cancer patients' resistance to tumor progression. This alternative measurement is effective in assessing the performance of cancer therapy protocols and may serve an evidence for evaluating the quality of life of patients and planning follow-up treatments. Here in, we review a number of PFS data publications for drugs used in cancer therapy. The review involves ten scientific articles met the inclusion criteria provided by the PubMed database. Our finding present the optimal performance of chemotherapy protocols in preventing disease progression in seven various cancer populations. The highest PFS values for each cancer such as: crizotinib for lung cancer (28.71 months), enzalutamide for prostate cancer (7.1 months), pamiparib for stomach cancer (3.7 months), anlotinib for liver cancer (4.2 months), irinotecan plus raltitrexed for esophageal cancer (3.91 months), folfoxiri plus bevacizumab for metastatic colorectal cancer (10.7 months), and paclitaxel plus vistusertib for ovarian carcinoma (4.5 months).

Abstract

Banana weevil is a waste that has not been used much, however banana weevil has content lots of nutrition . So that need effort for utilise the banana weevil so that it can beneficial for society . This study used lactic acid bacteria fermentation method which aims to analyze the characteristics of modified banana weevil flour. Then thinly sliced banana weevil soaked for 2 hours inside sodium metabisulfite solution then soaked again use finished solution mixed with bacteria sour lactate with concentration 0;0,02;0,025;0,03 ml/L. After that hump dried and ground for become flour and tested characteristics . The results showed that the swelling power test level was highest at a concentration of 0.03 ml/L, which was 13.39 grams, the % solubility test was highest at a concentration of 0.03 ml/L with a value of 0.12%, the results of the viscosity test after being modified had the same value, namely of 1.4 mPa.s, for the results of reducing sugar content after being modified it decreased and a result of 4% was obtained.

Abstract

Introduction: Pediatric subspecialty care, including multidisciplinary palliative care, tends to be located in urban academic centers or children's hospitals. Telehealth provides an opportunity to care for patients who would otherwise not be able to access services. We present a case in which telehealth was used to provide counseling services to a patient who was unable to receive services. The purpose of writing this review article is to determine the effectiveness of telehealth innovations used for children with palliative care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: This systematic review results from searches from five electronic databases (Scopus, ProQuest, Web of Science, Science Direct, PubMed and Sage). The criteria for articles in this research are articles published in 2017 – 2022, full text, articles in English or Indonesian, and research methods using case study, descriptive, qualitative, cross sectional studies. The keywords used are ("teleheatlh" OR "telemedicine") AND ("children" OR "child") AND ("COVID-19" OR "COVID-19 Pandemic") AND ("palliative" OR "palliative care") . The review used the Joanna Briggs Institute Guidelines for quality reviews and the Prisma checklist to guide these reviews. Results : We found fifteen studies that met the inclusion criteria in the review. The included studies contain digital telehealth innovations in pediatric palliative care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Respondents in several studies were pediatric patients aged 7-18 years who were undergoing palliative care. Telehealth using the video conferencing method is effectively used in palliative care for pediatric patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. Conclusion: All studies reveal that telehalth is effective during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Dalam menumbuhkan tingkat kepekaan mengenali tekstur benda pada anak diperlukan suatu metode yang tepat agar dapat lebih memberikan rangsangan mengenai berbagai macam bentuk dan warna benda disekitar. Cara yang dapat dilakukan yaitu menggunakan media pasir ajaib (magic sand), bermain cat air, dan lilin mainan. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji upaya peningkatan kepekaan anak untuk mengenal tekstur benda disekelilingnya dengan mengelola permainan sensorik pada anak usia dini di PAUD Tumbuh Harapan Desa Karanganyar Kecamatan Kalibening.

Abstract

Quality in Al-Quran education cannot be limited to general learning. However, in reality quality standards are seen in customer satisfaction which is not ignored. The aim of this research is regarding education quality management implemented at TPQ Ar-Rahmah which needs to be studied and carried out, considering that the quality of educational resources greatly influences the quality of students, in this case students and alumni. The design of this research is a field study. Using a qualitative research approach. The data collection method is by interviews with observed objects and direct observation. Guaranteeing the quality of learning and education services at TPQ has been carried out consistently in improving the quality of the ustad and ustadzah in providing close services to the students. Ustadzah and students at TPQ are advantages that must be maintained and developed.

Abstract

Implementation of character education for children through the Mother School Program in Central Magelang District, Magelang City is an activity plan that involves the role of Pregnant Women and Mothers who have children under 5 years of age to provide scientific knowledge about the importance of children's character education from the First 1000 Days of Life and activities This is also a form of community service in reducing the number of stunted children in Magelang City, especially in Central Magelang District. The main aim of this research is to identify the strategies and methods used in transmitting children's character values from an early age. This research uses a qualitative approach with observation and interview methods as data collection techniques. The research results show that the Mother School Program consistently integrates character values such as honesty, justice, respect and empathy. Facilitators play an important role in providing direct examples and guiding program participants in building good character.

Abstract

Hospitals are health care institutions that organize comprehensive individual health services that provide inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care. Based on Article 46 of Law Number 44 of 2009 concerning Hospitals, which states that hospitals are legally responsible for all losses caused by the negligence of health workers in hospitals. As the law develops, the position of patients as consumers and doctors and other medical personnel as health servants becomes equal. This equal position then creates rights and obligations that must be fulfilled from each party. This study aims to determine the responsibility of hospitals for the negligence of their medical personnel and the legal protection of patients in the act of childbirth performed in hospitals by being linked to Law Number 36 of 2009 concerning Health. This research is made using normative juridical methods through legal and conceptual approaches with primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials to support the research. The result of this research is legal certainty related to the hospital's responsibility towards the patient and legal protection of the patient's rights for negligence committed by medical personnel.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology is often assumed to have an impact on the formation of a new culture and a society with a new personality. The world of education duringthe industrial revolution 4.0 faces a generation born in a period of technological development. They are generation Z and Alpha or commonly called digital natives. Currently, ABA Sleman Kota Kindergarten applies an Islamic education curriculum which is a combination of the 2013 curriculum which is integrated with Al-Islam, Kemuhammadiyahan, and Keaisyiyahan. The purpose of the study was to see how ABA Sleman KotaKindergarten applies the Islamic education curriculum to the needs of students in the 4.0 era. The time of this study is in May 2023. This research is a research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in the form of documentation, observation, interviews. Data analysis can use an interactive data analysis model consisting of three components. Thethree components are: (1) data reduction, (2) display, and (3) drawing conclusions and verifying.From the research, it was obtained that the Islamic education curriculum in ABA Sleman Kota Kindergarten is still very relevant to the needs of students in the 4.0 era. Theimplementation of the Islamic education curriculum in ABA Sleman Kota Kindergarten is carried out with a central learning model that implements STEAM through the use of loose parts. The project method is an option when learning so that children are free to realize imagination while realizing the concept of independent play. Independentconceptions playing with project methods can also be done in the central learning model. In addition, to adjust to the needs of students in the 4.0 era, guru has made efforts to harmonize the implementation of the Islamic education curriculum as evidenced by the results of the evaluation of learning outcomes. Thus, the Islamic education curriculum applied at ABA Sleman Kota Kindergarten is still relevant to the needs of students in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

Educationis the spear head of a country.Because a country will be said to be successfulif in the implementation of education has metthe existing educational standards in a country. During the Covid-19 pandemic, educational activities have changed. All elements of education are forced to carry out distance learning activities or online learning. Learning activities carrie dout at home have a positive and negative impact on teachers and students. Many problems are experienced during online learning activities. The decline in character education for students is felt once when students experience online learning.This happens because learning is carried out at home with minimal supervision from teachers, even parents at home who have more time to meet their children have not maximize dinsupervising the irchildren when learning online at home. This study took a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection through interview studies, data collection throug observation and documentation studies. The results show edanincrease in thechar acter of students during online learning carried outusing the Zoom Meet platform, Whatsapp Group, Google meet and home visits to students'home inrotation according to the group schedule provided by the school. Religious characteris instilled by praying together before and after learning, the practice of dhuha prayers at home, supervision of dhuha prayers during home visits,and the cultivation of tolerance valuesin learning.Students Education is the spearhead of a country. Students are given independent and group tasks to instill an independent attitude and mutual assistance. Teachers instill the importance of the nature of the Prophet such as shiddiq, tabligh, Amanah, and fathonah to instill the character of students. All teachers and parents collaborate and strengthen each other's roles in supporting the strengthening of character education values during students carrying out learning from home.

Abstract

Developing a learning mindset scale for high school students is important to measure learning mindsets and provide insight for educators in increasing students' motivation and learning success. In learning, Dweck stated that there are two types of mindset, namely fixed mindset as a fixed mindset and growth mindset as a developing mindset. This research aims to overcome the lack of research and development of measuring tools related to mindset, as well as helping individuals find out what type of learning mindset they have. The research method includes four stages: confirming the measuring area, writing items, testing the scale, and testing psychometric properties. Participants consisted of 112 SMA/MA students aged 15-18 years, with data collection via online methods (92 respondents) and face-to-face (20 respondents). The research results showed the validity of relevant content on 67 items with Aiken's V > 0.80, good readability with positive feedback, and produced two independent scales, namely: the Growth Mindset Scale and the Fixed Mindset Scale. The Growth Mindset Scale has 54 final items with a Cronbach's coefficient ? = 0.954 and the Fixed Mindset Scale has 49 final items with a Cronbach's coefficient ? = 0.953. It can be concluded that the Learning Mindset Scale is divided into two independent scales with good reliability.
