Abstract

The research conducted is a type of technology development research for learning in elementary school children. First conduct a survey on the use of online learning based on information and communication technology in the era of digital culture, the use of online applications by learners. In the development stage, the development of learning tools is carried out which includes making blogs or webs and also online applications, developing learning modules. conduct an assessment or survey of online applications controlled by teachers. The application was agreed by the teachers as a whole. From the results that have been obtained that the application used is more familiar with the Google classroom site which is linked to the teacher's web or blog and the learning model formed blended learning with problem-based learning strategies, or also with applications as a forum for communication using Whats App, sms, messenger, telephone, and e-mail and zoom or meet. the application of online learning, the focus of technology can be in the form of training for teachers, in addition to students or parents of students, both in the use of learning management systems monitoring and conducting online evaluations, virtual work. that the online learning model in the era of digital culture, the use of online applications as a means of collaborating and communicating which in this case is used online applications can be concluded that the model is an exciting learning model for students and students.

Abstract

Through the use of the Demonstration method is a concept of learning activities that assist teachers in carrying out practical Physical Education learning activities by trying to maximize the role of students, especially how students are able to carry out practical movements as explained and exemplified by the teacher. With this concept, learning outcomes are expected to be more meaningful for students. The practical learning process takes place in the form of student practice activities on the material being discussed at that time. The quality of practical learning is more important than the results. The purpose of this class action research (CAR) is to want to know. results of increasing PJOK learning through the use of demonstration learning methods in class IX-B students of SMPN 2 Sikur, Sikur District, 2020/2021 academic year. In this classroom action research (CAR) it was carried out in 2 cycles, from the results of the actions taken it was proven to be able to increase students' learning completeness in a classical manner, namely in cycle I by 70%, it could increase to 90% in cycle II. The results of this classroom action research show that learning by applying the demonstration method can improve PJOK learning outcomes.

Abstract

Theoretical conflict in the study of the Qur'an and neuroscience related to reason and the human brain is the main problem underlying this research. Specifically, the meaning of the brain has not been stated in the Qur'an. Universally, reason plays a role as a thinking potential in humans. However, the mind and the brain are an inseparable unit. Although the form of reason itself is formless, there is a brain as a storage container. Humans are God's most perfect creatures because of their reason. In addition, humans were also created by God in the best form. This study aims to examine more deeply the concept of reason and the human brain from the perspective of the Qur'an and Neuroscience. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data sources obtained through literature study with various references. The results of the research show that the concepts of mind and brain are interconnected entities. By utilizing both of them properly, humans will be able to become caliphs on the face of God's earth. Humans should make use of their minds and brains in accordance with their functions and in line with religious law and optimize all their potential which is centered on reason and brain. The results of the research can add to the body of knowledge and have special implications for educators, both lecturers at school and parents within the family, to always optimize the function of the mind and brain.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out about the effect of the use of visual aids on the understanding of pulley material in science subjects in SDN Pecoro 3 . This research method uses an experimental design model, namely a one-shot case study. The number of samples tested was 24 students, and the value of learning outcomes was used as the variable being tested. Then it was found that learning using visual aids had a different learning outcome value than using the lecture method, and tended to increase. The results were obtained after testing the hypothesis on the results of student learning scores, which were obtained through tests after conducting learning experiments using visual aids. The choice of pulley material itself is because many students still do not understand how the pulley system works when applied in everyday life. Then to find out the role of the use of visual aids, is it able to foster students' interest in learning. As well as to find out how big the class differences are after learning using teaching aids.

Abstract

The purpose of this classroom action research is: to find out the increase in English learning achievement through the TGT Cooperative Learning Model for Class VIII.A Students of SMP Negeri 6 Mataram in the Academic Year 2021/2022. This study uses action research (action research) as much as two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: design, activity and observation, reflection, and revision. The target of this study was students of Class VIII.A SMP Negeri 6 Mataram with a total of 34 students consisting of 16 boys and 18 girls. Based on all the discussion and analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that: By applying the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model, it can be seen that student learning outcomes in the English subject of narrative text material in class VIII.A of SMP Negeri 6 Mataram have increased. After carrying out several cycles the results obtained using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model appear to have increased compared to before using it, namely in the pre-action of 84.44 with students completing 67.65%, in cycle I the average value to 84.71, students who completed as many as 27 students 79.41%, student learning outcomes in cycle II with an average value increased to 87.26, students who completed as many as 34 students 100%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the pattern of paragraph reasoning found in national newspapers to be used as a guide for students in writing texts valid and quality exposition in terms of reasoning. These include, a) the structure of reasoning in opinion texts, b) variations of reasoning in opinion texts, and c) the benefits of reasoning in opinion texts as teaching materials for writing exposition texts. This research design uses a qualitative method with a narrative study. Opinion texts used as data sources in this study are opinion texts published in the newspapers Kompas, Media Indonesia and Sindo.. The results of this study are, a) the structure of reasoning contained in each of these newspapers, which consists of establishment, proof, and conclusion; b) the variations of reasoning found in the three newspapers include Sindo having 33 deductive reasoning, 16 inductive reasoning, 4 inerative reasoning, and 3 mixed reasoning; Kompas which has 40 paragraphs with deductive reasoning, 11 inductive reasoning patterns, 4 mixed reasoning patterns, and 1 inerative paragraph reasoning pattern; and Media Indonesia which has a total of 44 deductive reasoning patterns, 10 inductive reasoning paragraph patterns, 4 paragraphs with mixed reasoning patterns, and 4 paragraphs with inerative reasoning patterns c) reasoning in opinion texts in national newspapers can be used as a supplement to exposition text teaching materials in learning Indonesian at the senior high school level in class X in KD 4.4.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the community's mindset is in handling Covid-19 in Medan, North Sumatra, as well as to find out some of the obstacles and obstacles faced by Kompas TV as well as how Kompas TV deals with these obstacles. This research was conducted at the Kompas TV Medan office, Jalan K.H. Wahid Hasyim No. 37, Babura, Medan Baru District, North Sumatra 20153. In this study using qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach, namely a study that seeks to collect data, process, analyze and interpret qualitatively and describe or describe a number of variables related to problems and units researched. Data collection techniques are used with observation, interviews, and documentation. Then the results of this study are 1. Media Kompas TV in influencing the mindset of the people is trying several ways so that people believe in the Covid-19 virus which is currently spreading in the world including, the Indonesian terrain. Efforts are being made as routinely reporting the number of deaths, positives and also the number of those who have recovered because of this virus. Kompas TV also provides education on how to handle it through its publications. Of course, the appeal that Kompas is making to the public is in accordance with the recommendations of the government and medical personnel. 2. The obstacle faced by Kompas TV in influencing people's mindset in handling Covid-19 in the city of Medan is the difficulty of finding sources who want to meet in person to conduct interviews with Kompas TV. Officials are often opaque in conveying bed inventory data, available vaccine doses. 3. Kompas TV's way of dealing with obstacles that occur in influencing people's mindsets in handling Covid-19 is to look for other sources who are equally competent in the health sector. If there are obstacles such as officials who are not clear in conveying information, Kompas TV will re-check with the party concerned.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the problems faced by the Addakwah Institute of North Sumatra in increasing congregational prayer services in Muslim minority areas, especially in Penampen Village, Tiganderket District, Karo Regency. This study uses a qualitative method with a type of field research. This study uses data collection techniques by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. The informants in this study were the Director of the North Sumatra Addakwah Institute, the dai of the North Sumatra Addakwah Institute who preached in the area, and the people of Penampen Village. The results of the research conducted in this study show: first, the implementation of da'wah by the Addakwah Institute of North Sumatra is very good, especially in terms of socializing with the community to gain the trust of the community because their trust is an important part of a relationship. After a relationship is created, the preachers will invite the public to pray in congregation at the mosque. In the implementation of da'wah each of the elements of da'wah has its own role, namely competent preachers, mad'u who are the objects of da'wah, effective methods, materials that are in accordance with needs, and media that assist in the spread of da'wah. Second, in carrying out da'wah there are several problems, the biggest problems of da'wah come from the community itself because they have different backgrounds and also the community does not fully accept the da'wah that is being carried out. Limited methods and media are also a problem in this regard. The preachers also have low self-confidence in carrying out their da'wah. The three solutions that Dai can use are preaching from house to house and providing understanding to the public about Islamic teachings and utilizing methods and media by relying on technology that can be used even if they don't have an internet network. At the same time increasing self-confidence in the da'i itself.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of the PQRST method in learning the skills of reading descriptive texts for class VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Kota Sungai Lilin. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method using a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were 105 class VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Kota Sungai Kunci for the academic year 2022/2023, with a sample size of 26 students who were determined using a purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of the posttest and hypothesis testing, it was found that the average value of skills in reading descriptive texts after using the PQRST method was higher than the average value of skills in reading descriptive texts before using the PQRST method. learning the skills of reading descriptive text after using the PQRST method is in the Very Good (BS) classification with an average value of 96.15. When compared with the learning value of reading skill description text for class VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Kota Sungai Lilin before using the PQRST method it is lower and is in the Less Enough (KC) classification with an average value of 15.38. Based on the t-test it was concluded that the hypothesis (H1) was accepted at a significant level of 95% and dk = (n-1) because tcount > ttable (20.26>1.70). Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of the PQRST method on the skills of reading descriptive texts for class VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Kota Sungai Lilin.

This researcch was conducted to find out about the impact of using visual aids on understanding the material of the circulatory system. The cardiovascular system is a material in science learning that includes organs that are used during the transportation process, blood circulation processes, abnormalities in blood circulation and circulatory diseases that should be understood. But of course there are obstacles in the learning process both the lack of understanding of students in capturing learning material, that way the teacher can use learning media such as teaching aids, the use of teaching aids that image the necessary work operations needed to visualize in memory, so the direction of this research is to test the success of the circulatory system visual media in the teaching and learning process. As well as helping teachers to make it easier when doing learning and easily understood by students.
